Description of God.

First a little background information. I am interested in converting to islam but havent yet. I was sort of hung up on a few points that i was glad to find out were not in the quoran (thanks to this site).
Anyways, i am in the process of reading the quoran and learning more about islam.

on to my question. Based on islam, your beliefs/ideas, the quoran, or any other source you might have used, what is your description of God. I have seen people use quotes in the quoran to say God is sitting somewhere on a throne, i.e. seperate from creation and on the other hand seen people use quotes to point that he is everywhere. Other sources have suggested he is creation, as in every part of his creation is a part of him. etc. etc. Let me know where you stand.
