Where in the quran does it say to say 'pbuh' after prophet names?

all I said was the Verse; I did not even paste the English translation from the source that I use (because I did not think it was right) the verse says ?oh who you Believe, Salwo Alih wa salemo taslima?. In the verse God ask (not me) the BELIEVERS to say what I wrote in Arabic, but the English translation is what I?m not sure about.
ONLY my interpretation... but my mind is very open for correction or more detailed interpretation or understanding.

Respectfully.I think a better questions needs to be asked"Why do sunnis get upset and insulted, when you mention prophet Muhammad and you don't add pbuh?"
Of course, at that moment one is risking a punch in the face.... God forbid.

The Quran shows a lot of history, and many verses are meant for the believers at that time. The verses connected with the word prophet apply only during the prophet's life on earth. Right? Here's a verse that tells the believers not to raise their voice above the voice of the prophet.
Yusuf Ali
O ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud to him in talk, as ye may speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds become vain and ye perceive not.Since the prophet no longer has a voice, wouldn't this have ended when the Prophet died? The prophet is dead so how can we do this now?
And here is a verse proving the prophet died (for the sake of argument).

God and His angels send blessings on the Prophet O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.I don't know of any place in the Quran that refers to the prophet as "Nabi" after his death.

I have that interpretation as well... and if it is incorrect, may ALLAH have mercy on us and I trust that He will reveal the truth to those of us that seek ONLY HIM for our guidance and understanding through our reading and studying of the Qur'an.

I think that we shouldn't fake anything in religion and in our relationship with God or other people. One thing is to show due respect to everybody in the proper circumstances, another is to pretend that we feel or believe what we do not. If by asking for blessings for the messenger we are forcing us, what is the good of it? If you say from your heart and conviction, then whay not?
Again, islam is not a one size fit all but a truthful Quran fits avery one of us. We are all different, each minute in our life may be different, so tht what we did or thought one year or thirty years ago may be useless to us now, or not, and things that we didn't even suspect before may become essential and generous to us.
May be some or many tradition bound muslims are narrow minded and one size fits all, but generally we people should be as accepting of sincerity in others as possible. We must trust that if the intention is good, eventually whatever is done will help the doer to better understanding of truth and cleseness to God.

No problem, this is a common mistaque where no name unequivocally gendered and recognizable as such is employed. Sometimes I say something, sometimes I am too lazy. But no worry, no trublesome transgender operation for me yet.
