    Peace,
    With all due Respect, jedi

I've noticed that sunnis don't mind and aren't bothered when i make the separation between us and them and when i said to this one sunni woman"I'm a Muslim and just because i disagree with you sunnis, that doesn't mean we should start a war next week."
She wasn't bothered and she didn't get angry nor upset, she accepted the separation calmly, like she also agrees that sunnis are sunnis and those who refer to themselves as Muslims aren't Muslims unless they choose one of the two groupssunnis or shias.

This is the dialogue that happened in UK
    Muhammad(my landlord)"So, what are you?"
    Alen"I'm a Muslim."
Muhammad"Muslim what, sunni, shia, which one?"
I was just mildly surprised and terminated the conversation with a smile.
I did add this"I don't do groups, we are not allowed in Islam to do groups."
    He walked away.

I think we should freely make this difference because sunnis aren't bothered and non-muslims will notice the difference, inshaAllah and the next question will be"Muslims and sunnis are .... not the same??"

    Just an idea ....
May The Exalted God AllPowerful bless you all.
    Peace. jedi jedi

I do find this a very cool thing to say. I hope you don't mind if I use it in future occasions!

        Peace,
        With all due Respect,

Not at all, Andya, not at all.
In fact, i've noticed that sunnis always out sunna infront of The Quran.
If you tell ordinary sunni that you're a Muslim, first thing he'll ask is"Do you follow prophet's sunna, do you believe that Muhammad was Allah's messenger?" Now, at this point, when you say that you believe in all God's messengers, they might repeat the question"Yeah, but do you believe that Muhammad was God's messenger?" No matter how many times you say that you don't make distinction among messengers or prophets, they will insist that you exclude Muhammad and untill you do, you'll be marked as kaffir in their eyes. I know i was.

We are believers here, all of us, sisters and brothers, we support each othe rin doing good and forbidding evil and we strive for the best, God willing.

        Peace. jedi
