        Peace Arnold,

Qadi Abdal Jabbar is the best muslim philosopher that I have ever read about. There is story of how archaeologists uncovered menuscripts of jabbar's works in a Yemen mosque and it may be one of the greatest archaeological discovery of the 20th century. Could you tell me about an english translated work of his most important work Sharh al-Usul al-Khamsa. Could you give me more links about his works.

          Salaam Abrar,

I agree partialy, GA Parwez is the nr.1, then Allama Mashriqi, then comes Jabbar

You can find his al-Usul al-Khamsa translated in this book (which is one of my fav's)

I met Professor Martin last April in America, we had long conversations about the Mu'tazili, a very warm and fun person, was a pleasure meeting him.
