Whats wrong brother?

and i would like to mention a Hadith from the Prophet (peace be upon him) about those who don't follow the Sunnah

Sunnan Abi-Dawud Book 40, Number 4587
Narrated Al-Miqdam ibn Ma'dikarib

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said Beware! I have been given the Qur'an and something like it, yet the time is coming when a man replete on his couch will say Keep to the Qur'an; what you find in it to be permissible treat as permissible, and what you find in it to be prohibited treat as prohibited. Beware! The domestic ass, beasts of prey with fangs, a find belonging to confederate, unless its owner does not want it, are not permissible to you If anyone comes to some people, they must entertain him, but if they do not, he has a right to mulct them to an amount equivalent to his entertainment.

and first of all sister "diamantinehoneybunch" said that "sects are man-made and their extra-Quranic holy books are manmade and problematic too."

I don't know how Sunnah became a sect like other sects while the Sunnah is the second Islamic legislation, and it what the Salaf ( who delivered The Holy Qur'an to us) used to follow it besides following the Qur'an, and then people started to make sects for them and Al-Khawarij was the first sect, and then Shiite came so there had to be a name for those who follow the right path, the right path which is the Qur'an and Sunnah, and just for some misconceptions i wonder how someone might call it contradicting and problematic!

it has been reported from the Prophet (by Mu'awiyyah) said, "Indeed this Ummah will split into seventy three sects and all of them are in the Fire except for one and that is what I'm and my companions on."

and as for brother "Novice"

"Allah has used muslim and momin for believers in Al-Quran. Do you believe in sects whereas Allah has commanded otherwise"

i wonder what is the wrong thing to follow Sunnah!and does calling myself Sunni is an objection on what Allah Subhannahu watala stated in the holy Qur'an?

instead the verses you brought brother are awesome! yet in Qur'an in many places True believers are mentioned with following The prophet (peace be upon him) and we know that the prophet (peace be upon him) doesn't speak from his own

{1. By the star when it descends,
2. Your companion has not strayed, nor has he erred,
3. Nor does he speak from inclination.
4. It is not but a revelation revealed,} 531-4

and evidences about true believers who follow the prophet are many

1- {And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers - We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination.} 4115

2- {Say, , "If you should love Allah , then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."} 331

3- {O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best and best in result.} 459

4- {But no, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you, , judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in submission.} 465

5- {Say, "Obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon him is only that with which he has been charged, and upon you is that with which you have been charged. And if you obey him, you will be guided. And there is not upon the Messenger except the clear notification."} 2454

6- {The only statement of the believers when they are called to Allah and His Messenger to judge between them is that they say, "We hear and we obey." And those are the successful.} 2451

7- {There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah often.} 3321

Now my brother may you tell me who are the Momineen and the Muslims?

I'm your Brother Abdullatif, I'm 19 years old. I'm not good with sects but i work with what the Prophet (peace be upon him) said "Deeds are but by intention and every man shall have but that which he intended.", and everybody is free in their life just like as Caliph "Omar Bin Al-Khataab" may Allah be pleased on him said "When did you enslave people and they were born free".

I like translating from Arabic to English and the opposite, it's my habbit.

I'm Sunni I follow Qur'an and Sunnah, and I hope In sha Allah to be a Good brother to you all. )
