to paraphrase this ayat it says allah sent a book and instead of agreeing with each other men used the book to differ in envy. for this reason allah will guide those who believe to the truth, about what these people claim, when they say, it is different.

i believe this ayat is telling us, that people who claim the torah and quran are different, are doing so out of envy. allah sent the book to clarify that there is no difference. because men will still insist on claiming it is different, allah will guide only those who believe in the truth.

read the verse 434 again. it says al rajal qawamun min al nisaa. it does not say al rajal qawamun min nisaakum.

salam fahad. the word you are referring to ajr, means reward. if allah rewards a momin with jannat this is not a wage. i see where the confusion is coming from, some translations are claiming ajr means wages. no akhi this is where arabic and english depart ways. english has vague usages for the term reward which is causing the confusion.
