Yes. I agree. But the reason I used the word "Muslim" instead of "people", was to show that the divisions exist even among those who claim that they unify God. Isn't this the main point of Submission??? To submit to the will of God ONLY and not to associate anyone or anything else ? All Muslim sects claim to unify God,( although in truth, they are as far from unifying God as the sky is to the earth ) and they all agree on the Koran being the
    undisputed word of God.

So if this is the case..why all the divisions then?? ?

I didn't write that ,mz357. Everything you see in red, was added by them. You see, they are proffessionals at lying and preverting the words of others. They learned this art from their masters 'Bukhari' and 'Muslim'.

I will post the entire thread again in this forum, and you will see for yourself what I mean.

    Peace and Greetings to All.

The story of the Genesis is, without a doubt , one of the most intriguing subjects in all religious scriptures. It is a subject that science is still trying to find an answer to How and where the human race originated.

Before I present my views on the matter, I would like to make a long but necessary introduction to explain just how the Koran deals with the narrations of past events.

    -Part I-

I have read the story of the Genesis in the Koran and the Jewish scriptures , and made a comparison between the style of narration and details in the two sources.

What strikes me as worth mentioning is that the Koran, unlike the scriptures - and this is true in ALL the Koranic verses that deal with past/ historical events - does not contain needless details. Its style is simple and straightforward. The Koran stresses the importance of the 'event' and the moral lesson learned from it ,rather than mentioning needless details that contribute nothing to the relevence of the story ( such as is the case in the scriptures that the Jews perverted and corrupted in ages past ).

An excellent example of what I'm talking about can be found when comparing the two versions of the story of the Angels' visit to the house of Abraham (GBHS) The Koranic version and the version found in the corrupted Jewish scriptures. Although they are similar, the differences one can spot when making a thourough comparison between the two versions are appaling. In the Jewish version, we see verse after verse of meaningless details ( Names/descriptions of people , places, items, etc....). In the Koran, the whole story is told in a few verses that focus on the 'event' as a whole, with spectacular precision and narration style, yet without mentioning needless details.

Now I ask you What is the purpose of studying history ? Is it not to learn the truths of past events ? To learn from the mistakes of our ancestors to avoid making these mistakes again?? Is the ultimate purpose not a moral one??? That we may reflect on what happened and learn to better ourselves from it??

Or is history about knowing the length of Noah's beard, or the color of Abraham's hair, or how many doors Solomon's Temple had? Or the name of Pharao's wife?

It is this simple and effective way with which the Koran treats these subjects that the so-called "Ulama" fail to understand. They cannot be satisfied by what is told in the Koran. They feel that they must allways resort to the Torah or the Bible to 'complete' their interpretation of the Koranic narration. This is true to such an extent that whenever any of us reads the Koranic 'tafseers' written by the traditionalists, we feel as though we are reading the Torah and no longer the Koran. ( Have any of you ever felt this way? ). Sadly, 99% of what the typical Muslem knows today is derived from these same perversions that plagued the Jewish scriptures. God warned us to resort to the Koran ONLY, and not to any other book for guidance. The "Ulama" never heeded this.

    Example

    • All Muslims typically agree that Abraham's(GBHS) wife was called "Sarah". Yet does this name appear in the Koran?
      NO
The same source from which the "Ulama" got this name states that Mary mother of Jesus was a whore, and that David(GBHS) performed obsceneties with his own daughters!!!
      Is this acceptable to you???

The Koran simply says "And his wife was standing there and she laughed, and so we gave her the tidings (that she would bear) Isaac, and after Isaac Jacob "

Nowhere in the Koran is there any mention of the names that so many Muslims today have come to know and acccept as facts ( Sara, Hajar *, Asia, Abel , Cain, Eve, etc...)

Some of you might say So what? It's just a name ? What harm is there in that??
My answer Even if it is just a name, and even if it is true, WHAT USE IS IT TO THE STORY??? TO THE MORAL BEHIND THE STORY?
Why can't they just accept the Koran as it is, without seeking guidance from other sources?
Don't they know that the Jews of old perverted their scriptures to the extent that they can no longer be reliable sources??? Don't they know that those scriptures are full of contradictions and historical inacuracies??

Another excellent example is the story of Joseph(GBHS). Again, the two versions are practically identical; yet, if you look closely you will easily distinguish which of the two versions is the product of men, and which is the word of God.

In the Jewish scriptures, Joseph is linked to Pharaoh. In the Koran, Pharaoh is never mentioned in the verses that talk about Joseph. Instead, we see the word "King" and not "Pharaoh".

Historical fact Joseph lived long before Moses. During Joseph's age, the ruler of Egypt was not refered to as "Pharaoh" , for he lived in the period of history which preceded the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt. The Koran refers to the ruler of Egypt at that time as the "azeez" ( meaning he who is strong in stature or station or simply "governor" ).
THERE WAS NO PHARAOH DURING THE TIME OF JOSEPH.

There are so many other examples that it is beyond my capacity to state them all.

It is very important that you understand these facts before I move on to part II. Please don't hesitate to post any comments or questions you may have. D

    • Concerning the name "Hajar" , I have yet to find a verse in the Koran which states that Abraham(GBHS) ever had a second wife!! In fact, what I found so far seems to indicate that all his children came from the same wife!! ( She gave birth to Isaac and Jacob at a rather old age ).

Abraham(GBHS) says "Praise be to God for granting me, despite my old age, Ismail and Isaac. My lord answers the prayers "
Muslims today believe the version told in the corrupted Jewish scriptures. ( These scriptures speak ill of almost all the prophets and messengers )From the pages and pages of meaningless details, they discern that Abraham married a woman named Hajar who was of much lower social standing than his original wife Sara. He then forced her to leave with her child, and she became lost in the desert. They fail to understand the hidden significance of this story.

I leave it up to you to figure it out..

The following is the original version of the thread that was posted on the forum at www.islamicboard.com. a few days ago. If you go to that forum and register there, you will find the 'new' version in the General Chat section posted by xxxarabmalexxx, under the same title. The moderators ( who are honest and pious Muslims ) didn't like the original version, so they decided to make a few modifications to it.

Everything you see THERE in red was added by them. Everything you see HERE in italics was completely removed by them.

"This is the truth from your Lord; then , whoever wills let him believe, and whoever wills let him disbelieve...."

"Had your Lord willed, all the people on Earth would have believed. Do you (Muhamad) want to force people to become believers?"

"You (Muhamad) shall remind ; for your mission is but to deliver this reminder * You have no power over them."

Often I have asked myself why muslims today are divided into dozens of sects; why the social and political structure of our countries ( whose leaders claim they are Islamic ) is so feeble, that we are no longer a living and effective part of human history. It's as if we have become outside the margin of the page where history is being written, when, in ages past, we were at the headline of that page.

-Is it because of our small number? obviously not, for according to recent data, our number is well over one billion.
-Is it because of our lack of resources? The answer is no. Our lands, stretching from the Gulf to the Ocean, are among the richest on Earth.
-Is it because we are mentally incompetent? Another big NO. Over half of the so-called "brains" in the West are of Arab origin. 80% of them are muslims.

The answer, I believe, is in our hearts. God does not help those who do not help themselves. We have strayed from God's path. We have done exactly what God warned us against in the last of his ten commandments

"Say (Muhamad) Come, let me recite to you what your Lord has really prohibited for you........This is My path; a straight one. You shall follow it, and do not follow other ways, lest they divert you from His path * These are His commandments to you , that you may be saved."

"Do not fall into idol worship, like those who divide their religion into sects, each party rejoicing in what they have."

This is the sad truth I see today. Muslims are divided into sects, each of which proclaims to follow the correct path , while condemning others as being false.

-The Sunni is proud to be a Sunni, and rejoices in what he has. He refers to his "sheikh" or whomever in Azhar or Saudi Arabia for guidance.
He idolizes the fellowship (sahaba) as though they were angels, and sometimes visits their tombs to pray and ask for blessings instead of turning to God ALONE.

-The Shiite is proud to be a Shiite and rejoices in what he has. He refers to his "imam" in Iran or Iraq for guidance. He idolizes the direct descendants of the prophet Muhamad (God Bless his Soul ) as though they were angels and faultless, and sometimes visits the tombs of these "imams"- who are long dead and cannot benefit or harm him- to pray and ask for blessings, instead of turning to God ALONE.

-The Wahabi is proud to be a Wahabi and rejoices in what he has. He refers to the teachings of Muhamad bin Abdul-Wahab al- Najdi for guidance.

-The Habashi is proud to be a Habashi and rejoices in what he has. He refers to his "Sheikh al- Harari" for guidance.

And so on....Almost every day we see a new sect appearing.

Know that the only way muslims can unite is for them to resort to the Koran and THE KORAN ALONE as the only source of guidance.
As long as we follow the words of men, we will allways be divided. And as long as we remain divided, we will not be worth the weight of a fly in the motion of history, despite our growing number and our natural wealth.

"Among the people there are those who uphold baseless sayings (hadiths)
in order to divert others from the path of God, without knowledge, and take it in vain. These have incurred a shamefull retribution."

"Let them produce a 'hadith' like this one (the Koran) if they are truthful"

"These are God's revelations that we recite to you truthfully; in which 'hadith' other than God and his revelations do they believe?"

Now I know what you're thinking "Look, he's another follower of Rashad Khalifa!! Another one of those 19'ers!!"

    WRONG.

The 19'ers are just a sect, like all the others. And their leader, Khalifa, was just a MAN. And he commited some serious errors. He thought he had discovered something new, when in fact, he hadn't. His arrogance led him to declare that he was a "Prophet of the Covenant"!!!

It doesn't take a genious to realize that 99% of the so-called "Hadith Sharif" or "Sunna" are lies made up in the name of prophet Muhamad (GBHS). I have met many people throughout my life who have shared this belief, but never had the courage to speak their thoughts. None of them ever declared that they were a prophet!! Many of them have never even heard of Rasha Khalifa (May god forgive him for his error).

THERE IS NO PROPHET OR MESSENGER AFTER MUHAMAD (GBHS)

It never ceases to amaze me how some Muslems today attack Christians and say to them" You follow the Gospels??? Don't you know that the Gospels were corrupted? They are not the true words of Jesus Christ (GBHS) They were written a hundred years after him!!
Yet these Muslems themselves follow 'hadiths' that were recorded no less than two hundred years after Muhamad (GBHS) !!!

Dear members, it is time you understood that the prophet Muhamad
(GBHS) never recited anything other than the Koran. He did not claim to have any other divine source of guidance other than the Koran. This is the truth that many of you refuse to believe.

"You (Muhamad) have no duty except delivering the message (Koran)"

"And when you (Mohamad) preach your Lord using the Koran ALONE, they run away in aversion."

"This (Koran) is the utterance of a noble messenger * It is not the utterance of a poet ; rarely do you believe * Nor the utterance of a soothsayer; rarely do you take heed * It (the Koran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe * Had he (Muhamad) uttered any other teaching, We would have punished him * We would have stopped the revelations to him."

Dear members, I have rejected all the known sects that muslims follow. I am a pure Submitter to God; a follower of the Old Religion; the religion of our father Abraham, who named us Muslems; Abraham who was neither Sunni, nor Shiite, nor Wahabi nor Habashi.

    Final Word

I did not write this letter to attack any of you, nor to attack your religion. I wrote it to defend myself and the many others that hold fast to the same beliefs. We are not blasphemers. We pray and fast and give alms as you do. In the end, God will judge us, not you, nor your "sheikhs" or "imams" ( we do not recognize their authority anyway ). Remember that God gave us all brains with which to think and contemplate. He also gave us the freedom to believe what we want. The sad truth is that 99% of Muslims today follow what their parents and grand parents told them to follow. They heed the words of their "sheikhs" or "imams" without ever giving them a second thought. They have become blind to the truth, and , as a result, look where they are today....

I am sorry if i offended anyone, for that was not my intention.
I am sorry if this is not the proper place for this post. I couldn't think of any other place to post this thread. It just didn't seem to fit anywhere.
I am sorry for the length of this post, but please remember that it will be my last.

May God bless and forgive us all.

    Peace

I am new here, and I have many things to say, if you would take the time to listen.

A short while ago, I posted a thread on another "Islamic" forum at www.islamicboard.com.

It was not very well appreciated there. If you would like to know their reaction, you can go and register at the site's forum, and read for yourself. I posted under the name xxxarabmalexxx. It was my first and LAST post there . It was a mistake. The thread title is "The Old religion" , and you can find it in the "General Chat" section.

If you have some free time, check it out, and tell me what you think ( You have to register to see it, because they don't allow guest viewing of the forum ).
