I'm glad you've found out the truth. I've always noticed one thing in everyone's story and journey, and it's that God always guides those who search for the truth themselves rather than follow blindly what their parents or sheikhs/scholars throw at them.

Bad?
Who says death and suffering is bad in itself? Perhaps they are tools for our learning. Allah says he will test us through loss of wealth and lives. We are very quick to decide what is good and bad, and then we define God and reality, and the rationality and probability of God's existence based on our first decisions and definitions of good and bad.

If this life is just a play and a dream then why is death something bad? Doesn't Allah ask rhetorically in AQ that if we are so sure about ourselves and salvation, then we should wish for death.

Purpose and suffering
This natural world is what it is. It's neither good nor bad. When something happens to us, either we think it is useless, OR we see that it can serve a purpose. Something happening to us can help us move closer toward Allah, or it can be an excuse for us to move deeper into rejection (resistance to reality), or we'll just keep straying around. It is OUR choice. WE react. Circumstances are neutral, and our reaction to them give us an experience of suffering or joy.

We have to decide whether we think Allah and life is unfair, or not. If Allah and life is not unfair in our mind, then we realize that anything that happens to us is an opportunity to ponder reality and an opening for us to grow. WE decide what to do. Allah gives us opportunity after opportunity. We'll always reap what we sow, but we are not stuck... all it takes to turn around the ship is to change our thinking, intention and perspective. This is where it starts. We should understand WHY and HOW things happen, and not only focus on WHAT happens.
We we experience pain and suffering, is that a sign that God is unfair, or that God doesn't exist? What sort of logic is that? Why do we think that we are some princesses that should be pampered and only have joy? What a delusion and failure to see the purpose of life. Are things only ok and good if there is no pain? How simplistic!

If suffering happens to us, it is of-course painful, but is it BAD? Isn't 'bad' only that which leads away from truth, reality and Allah? And that which determines if it leads TO Allah or FROM Allah, is us. We are not victims of life. If we think so, it means that we don't understand life and it's purpose. But, what about rape victims and child abuse... we'll, there are plenty of people who have suffered these nasty crimes, and have come out stronger with a power and passion to help other deal with unpleasant experiences. Does the existence of e.g. rape and child abuse naturally translate as 'there is no God', or 'God is unfair'? Well, it depends on how we see it, and it's not an easy thing, but can we use our emotional experiences as a ground to determine whether "God" exists or not? Who says life was supposed to be easy? Our deluded mind and ego did. Life is obviously NOT easy. There's no doubt about that. So, our mind and ego has already decided upon what reality and life SHOULD be like. Is it reasonable? Our minds can not even let us communicate in a kind and civilized manner in forums on internet... so how can we trust our ego to determine the existence of Allah? As if Allah is some external thing, something separate that may or may not exist, some component. I prefer to see it like this

Does Allah exist?
I think, therefor Allah must exist. Or, I exist, therefore Allah must exist. It's not more difficult than that. It's a matter of definition. Is Allah a separate thing, or is everything/creation a result of Allah?.. by definition. Seeing the light beam, should we engage in intellectual debates on whether or not there is a light source, or should we realize that the beam by natural necessity exists because of a source. Is a light beam without a light source reasonable, logical, scientific and realistic? Atheists seem think so.

Images
Actually, it all boils down to our image of God. It is actually this image that we accept or reject. That's why we should desperately desire, crave and strive for open 'eyes' and minds that can let us see reality and truth more and more. We wouldn't want to make the mistake of rejecting God on the basis of a faulty image of God that one rightly would reject. It's wise not to rush to conclusions. It's wise to be soft and open, not hard and fast, so we can let the light of reality trickle in, drop by drop, slowly and steadily breaking off the hardened and rock-like resistance and blindness from our hearts and minds. An attitude of acceptance and salam will be necessary.

Work
Opening our eyes is a long and tedious process. We are never 'done'. If we think we are done, and know it all, then we are just fooling ourselves. We have to work on it. We need to make this our number one aim and direction in life. Why else are we in this world, if not to get to know Allah and reality, to work our way home. Is there some other purpose? If we don't help ourselves first, how can we be useful instruments of help to others? This physical world won't matter a sh*t in the end. It'll all perish. What's left? Our growth and progress towards Allah will be left. That's all we'll ever have.

Wait, so it doesn't support the 99 names? I don't know if I'm understanding it wrong, but I think I've reached to the conclusion that they ARE in the Quran, but rather as attributes of God, like a description, like 'God is Most Merciful, The Most Compassionate'.

I'm not good at expressing my thoughts, so I apologize if you don't get what I'm saying, adding in the fact that I'm pretty much sleep-deprived right now.

All those religions are submission to God's system, so that is why 262 allows the others paradise too.

Christians, for example, is their own definition because they choose call themselves by this name. Christianity is submission, as long as you do not follow the blasphemy that came after Jesus died, that he was the part of a trinity.

God means monotheism by all this, believing in only one deity, Christians, Jews believe in the same God and submission system as Muslims, though some associate partners with him, thus not following God's system.

Islam, or submission, is not a proper name but a definition of those who accept God's system.

Peace sister, my most warmest welcome. I can see the wisdom in your words, I am not going to say that you are too young to have it, because I know that God gives wisdom to whomever he wants and retains it from whomever he wants.

And I agree with you. I believe that God will not judge the flesh but the soul, and that men and women differences are only in the outside, but that deep inside the soul is not different. Prophet Isa is said to have said in mattew 2230 " For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven".

The next is a verse I made about this issue of equality, I made it in Spanish so the English rhyme is not the best, but the essence is there.

He who believes that God will make difference between man and woman
Farther astray he could not deviate
He who makes difference between this two will be truly far astray
God has never said that the body is what He will judged that day
But the soul from it that He will liberate

Praise be to God for such screen that spreads the truth worldwide guiding young generation capable of using this screen, the screen which is replacing corrupted religions teaching corporation and their lost path scholars and teachers. A simple screen that gives opportunity for you such young to increase your knowledge and do what God has authored.

when announced he is 14, I pm him and asked how at this age he knows so much and he said that since 8 years old he has had access to this forum and reading almost all posts, May God bless him, he is not active here more, i met him in FB and later found that he is atheist!
GW one day he will find the truth as I found at age 60, Be carefull and do not forget 1736, do not ruch, and have patience. Build your presence with solid foundation as God will help us as far as we avoid Satan.

Those are the feelings can be felt by girls/women, if they know more and more about the hadiths, meanwhile at the same time they were taught to accept it, to believe that the hadith is the truth saying of the messenger who carrying the messages of God.

It is not easy. Even I still feel it sometimes, because many translations of the Qur'an are still supported by the hadith.

I suppose I could agree with you on that since I also feel that way sometimes, but I always end up reminding myself that God doesn't judge us by our gender but rather our righteousness and deeds, and that women and men are both equal in God's eyes.

I'm not entirely sure if this is the right category, I hope it is, but I'll just get on with the question.

I wanted to discuss your opinions on reincarnation (In case you don't know what it means, it's being re-borned with your soul in a different body). I've searched on this and found a few verses in the Quran that speak of it. What do you guys think? Is it a possibility? I think it is, since the afterlife seems to remain a mystery, at least to me, and there were verses in the Quran that built my belief in the matter, though I don't fully believe in it. But I just wanted your opinions on it. Even if it's not there - only God knows that - It's fun playing around with the idea, like wondering, if it IS real, then what was my previous life was like, did I get the dreams I wanted etc, etc. ;D

I just wanted to share with you about a little miracle about it. I think most of you might have figured it out by now, but still.

Have you ever wondered about all those lines on your palms, about it's purpose?

Look at your both of your palms.

They look like the numbers 18 and 81 in Arabic, don't they?

Now add them 18 + 81 ( and &#1633

The result? 99!

Ninety-nine names of Allah.

I think this is clearly a proof from God that Quran is, indeed, the Word of God.

I was studying the Quran when I came across this verse.

Monotheist Translation

"And whoever follows other than submission as a system, it will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter, he is of the losers."

Does this mean the other religions will not be accepted by God?

What about 262?

"Surely, those who believe, and those who are Jewish, and the Nazarenes, and the Sabians, whoever of them believes in God and the Last Day and does good works, they will have their recompense with their Lord, and there is no fear upon them, nor will they grieve."

I'm really confused. I'd like to hear your opinions on this.
