Well I do know that strip clubs are wrong and will never support them but when ur with friends then its a bit hard ... My friends are good! No one really forced me to get a dance and no one can ever force me! ...

In the end, I think that Alcohol has not been labelled as haram by Allah. I mean if someone stays in their limits then what harm? I mean I drank yesterday but I still remembered Allah etc. I dont believe in getting drunk because that is just absolutely absurd. Its quite a complex issue to decide whether drinking alcohol is allowed or not. The verse which actually forced me to think that alcohol is allowed was the one in which it is said that we should not approach prayer when intoixcated ... I mean if it was prohibited then why mention it all in this Ayat?

I also feel that DION's argument holds the most strength! It makes sense and is straight-forward!

Man just had my driving test .. failed it cus one stupid mistake. I was driving along parked cars on the side and the guy felt that my car was too close to the parked cars. He got scared and failed me. If he hadnt done that, then I would passed!!

I think what Ammarb87 is saying that any other time people tend to cut up and do everything in excess, but soon as ramadan starts that's when all the angel"righteous muslims" angel start falling out of the wood work.

I could be wrong. I call this behavior of those types of people, "the ramadhan muslims" Just keep it real! ;D

You do not have to announce to the world what you are doing to improve yourself , nor should you not attempt to be more mindful of your relationship with God.

When ramadan is over people will most likely go back to what they did before. So be honest with yourself. Strive to please God and do all that you can and just be real about it. No fake stuff to impress the muslims or other people. Like....Bragging about how much of the Quran you've read this month or how many times you did this or that. That is between you and the creator. If I was wrong about that, then it is just my opinion. Have a successful fast. peace
