well actually i respond to Utashi, cos I feel like it, and i feel some of what he has to say is very poetic and beautiful.........

I also like to understand where people come from....his opinions dont change who i am.....

And yes, I like my nick, and there is no need to use my name. The Wise One knows more, and in principle my own conscience is the best criterion to assess this.

this makes alot of sense to me.....we need to know nothing really in relation to the names of others....its not like a persons true name is going to really help us understand the person anymore....God knows and perhaps thats all that matters.....

in my opinion, names are only there out of convenience.....otherwise how do we refer to one another? I dont think it matters in all honesty.....

one thing i would like to ask of ustahi though is how does "i have no name and i have any name " make any real sense? It sounds like mumbo jumbo to me.....actually on this thread, i am finding your play with words distracts anyone from really having any clue as to what your saying....how can this way of being actually be beneficial?..... to anyone but yourself....it separates you from everyone else here...and i personally feel that everyone is equal but here i am feeling that you think you have something that is most important for us to be listening to....it seems kind of egocentric to me....
i just would like to understand where you are coming from brother.......

also, to anyone who can answer, we all use capitals when we refer to God, Him, Allah etc i wonder in all honesty how we can use capitals for our own names....when we know He is far more important than our meager selves......

It seems you are in a space I would very dearly like to be in....

Its all very well to say, that money and children etc, dont matter....and in the great scheme of things i guess they dont matter as equally as God, but I am a mum who needs to spend time with my child each day....and at times, I wish I had more time to spend conversing with God. Our basic needs need to be met.....

What would you suggest? My guess is that you dont have children, or if you do, they are grown up.....

The world as God has made it is a miracle. It is my experience and observation that no matter what wrong we may have done, once it is done, from that situation which our wrong brought about, there open possibilities to do right that were not there before the wrong. That is the miracle, wrong is wrong, but once you have the result of your wrong doings, with that you can do unforeseen rights, and that is a reason I guess, why God allows us to do wrong.

No matter where we are, where we come from, what we have right now in our hands is full of hope, is pregnant with something that can redeem us. We must look forward, God is so very generous. We just have to be quiet and see and listen and be honest and open. Whatever good we get is never us, it is a Gift for which we must be open, and however bitter it seems to us at a given moment, we must be patiente opening the package, because at the core of it there is always a gem.

When I began reading articles on this website, I decided to ask the people on Ummah forum questions about hadiths, etc and they eventually banned me permanently. They didn't really give me the answers that I was searching for, but I found my answers from other Sunni sites. Looking back at some of the things I said on the forum I now realise how annoying I must have seemed to them, but I don't even believe in what I use to say to them anymore.

You live really far away from a mosque, it maybe a good idea to ask the scholars here questions

I dont think we are annoying them, there may be one of them that looks at the way they have taken on their religion and sees there is another way to look at it....information and another way of looking at things can hardly be detrimental......I find they show me a lot too...
I will bookmark your link.... as another place to find answers from....Information seems to come to me, when I am ready for it I am finding....and most stuff either resonates in my heart or not......

After reading your post I wondered if your choice of username reflected how you felt.

My suggestion is take your time, read, reflect, question, build a strong foundation, grow and implement gradually. At times you might feel you are far away from God, but like a boomerang, it's only a matter of time before you return to the source. Keep this in mind and you will be fine.

Its funny that you ask this question.....my name is Kylie and it means boomerang....the guy who set me upon the path of looking to the Quran, suggested to me that the boomerang always returns...."reverts"......I guess thats what i have done living away from God for the majority of my life, and then finding the Quran......I know it does sound like a weapon,....thats something I need to work on....but I am after returning to the source as you said.....Thanks for the reminder

No, I guess i am usually rather polite, and do things the ways they like things to be done.....they have never banned me, but remove my posts if i am too right! ;D They are a nice group of people actually.....hadith mad, but very accepting.....
They ask for too many duas though.......

I already go to a sunni forum, and i drive them nuts ;D.....I ask way too many questions, and I question things they do not like me questioning.......I also have questions about topics that they may not appreciate......

(by the way, the nearest mosque to me, is around 250kms away!)
