Merely the fact about the ingenuity of nature I find a great sign of a "higher power" and it was among those reasons I became confident that there is one. I did not become a person of faith due to the pathetic impression of world religions. In fact I was generally always skeptical to them, even when I tried the sectarian "Islam" for a while in my naivety which was my only involvement in 'organized religion'. I try not to blame myself, it is easy to be a bit deluded, but I was never as deluded that I had any faith in narratives like the so-called "hadith of Muhammad". However, I was a person with faith in "God", before I begun to test "Islam" in 2010, without adhering to any 'organized religion'. I consider that I left this delusion in 2013, about three years later, fooled for three years although with suspicions. Now I know the Arabic text does teach something entirely different than the 'organized religion' wants us to think.
Salam Man of Faith,
My story is same as yours. I didn't see world religions as fully irrelevant, for you know we are already told that all of them came from the same lord, but then got messed up. For a while, I thought our mainstream Islam was perfect, but the more I read hadiths, bibles and talmuds, the more I started feeling suspicious about it. That said, I truly think you have to be the biggest dumb to think that no supreme power exists especially if you go to school, think about the perfection of your body and nature. But I guess some people take the earth for granted, making it difficult for them to think outside the box.
I come from a family of medical doctors, chemists and biologists. My dad taught me to believe in evolution when I was a kid. But the more I talked to my relatives and siblings about evolution the more it started to look like a fairy tale. You truly have to go indepth to know the flaws that exist within it. I also read the journal articles from my university database. I am not from science field, but they made me laugh like crazy rotfl. Its pretty much like hadith books if you ask me.
I see the story of evolution like a blockbuster sci fi movie. It has all cool make believe actors and ground breaking vfx. You'd love to watch the movie on and on. But if you use logic and read the actual script you will be left with thousands of questions which will later force you to believe that reality is far away from it.
Okay, I was teasing Jafar for a while. Now I'll turn serious and burst the bubble.
It is usually believed that evolution of one creature turning into another happened slowly. Jafar here also believes the same. He claimed that chimps can have abstract thoughts.

The genetic divergence time between two species varies substantially across the genome, conveying important information about the timing and process of speciation. Here we develop a framework for studying this variation and apply it to about 20 million base pairs of aligned sequence from humans, chimpanzees, gorillas and more distantly related primates. Human-chimpanzee genetic divergence varies from less than 84% to more than 147% of the average, a range of more than 4 million years. Our analysis also shows that human-chimpanzee speciation occurred less than 6.3 million years ago and probably more recently, conflicting with some interpretations of ancient fossils. Most strikingly, chromosome X shows an extremely young genetic divergence time, close to the genome minimum along nearly its entire length. These unexpected features would be explained if the human and chimpanzee lineages initially diverged, then later exchanged genes before separating permanently.http//www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16710306
Conclusion The evolution wasn't slow, but fast and recent.
Problem 2
The most comprehensive catalog of great-ape genome diversity to date offers insight into primate evolution, revealing chimpanzees have a much more complex genetic history than humans.http//www.nbcnews.com/science/science-news/chimp-genetic-history-more-complex-humans-f6C10533510
Question Doesn't that make it sound like the apes came from humans?
And well ye knew those amongst you who transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath We said to them "Be ye apes, despised and rejected. 002.065
But this doesnt mean we came from fish. It doesnt mean all animals evolved also.

There is much variation in bacteria. There are many mutations (in fact, evolutionists say that smaller organisms have a faster mutation rate than larger ones17). But they never turn into anything new. They always remain bacteria. Fruit flies are much more complex than already complex single-cell bacteria. Scientists like to study them because a generation (from egg to adult) takes only 9 days. In the lab, fruit flies are studied under every conceivable condition. There is much variation in fruit flies. There are many mutations. But they never turn into anything new. They always remain fruit flies. Many years of study of countless generations of bacteria and fruit flies all over the world shows that evolution is not happening today. http//www.newgeology.us/presentation32.html
I won't say evolution doesnt exist at all. It does, but it doesn't create new creatures like some commercialized scientists claim.
Truth from evolutionist Francois Jacob, the nobel prize winner
Evolution does not produce novelties from scratch. It works on what already exists, either transforming a system to give it new functions or combining several systems to produce a more elaborate one
