I am not sure what language namaz is in.... but i am quite sure it is not arabic.
The arabs also pray the ritual salah and therefore i dont think it could be invented by another people who speak another tongue but could have been adopted by them and given the name namaz of which you speak.

The story of Buraq was invented by arabs themselves so i am not sure how you reconcile the two.
