Hey, I am not lazy! You come to my home and watch me...I go to bed at like 300 am because I am studying for 6 courses (when the average full-time load is only 4!!!!) late night and because I cannot accept anything lower than an A (I know I sound bad, but that's the truth). I am "A" material, anything lower won't be accepted.

Its hard, because the course I am taking is a darn graduate level course which I really shouldn't be taking because I am still an undergrad. We all mak mistakez right?

No, I did not view you as a materialistic person...so you really don't have to give me Quranic verses to support your hobbies (i.e. watch collection)...we are all materialistic.

I myself am working very hard at my university, doing an internship, serving as the president and vice-president for two student clubs at school, working part-time and then doing volunteer work ocassionaly...why? All because it looks good on the mighty resume, so when I graduate, I can "sell" my skills for a good-paying job (God Willing D )...but as long as I don't become a money hoarding idol-worshipper, I think I should be a-okay, but it will be very hard to do so once you smell the scent of $$$$. I guess God knows exactly how to test each of us...some gets loads of dinero while some get nothing, its all a test. But honestly speaking, though just like everyone I'd also like a nice home, car and other stuff, other than that I've never really cared that much for money.

Now to the file the sharing stuff (hey, who needs money when you get music, movies and apps for free, huh?!?), I was a user of suprnova which recently shut down...since you've used edonkey, does it have any hidden spyware or virus stuff..? I've got BitTorrent client on my machine....what's the difference between that eDonkey and the bittorent sites you've given....I know torrents are spyware free or are they? Which is better?

think what is interesting to see is that in countries like Italy, Spain, Portugal,... where they drink usually wine with dinner they have much less problems like in countries where this is not usual. In many nothern countries they use alkohol to get drunken only and not to enjoy the taste. Unfortunately there is hardly any party without masses of alcohol

Not forums but I visit www.muslimwakeup.com / www.moslem.org / www.submission.org .... I really think submission should make their website dynamic by adding a forum because they do have a lot of members, but they don't

For me - I frequent several wrist-watch forums, photography forums, and some P2P file sharing forums.

I am Just-God and I celebrate Eid...why not? Did the Quran forbid us to not celebrate it? If no, then we have no right to make anything that God has not made unlawful into unlawful.

This is one point that I very much hate that we are pretty much labeling everything and anything as "idol worship" without realizing that if God did not forbid it, why should we? I have met people who even forbid saying Happy New Year and I am like give me a break...if this attitude continues even the Mormons are going to be more jolly than us...IMO this is becoming another of those things the Sunni's do...making up unique laws never authorized by God.

I am 18 and here in Britain we can legally purchase and drink alcohol at the age of 18. I do not smoke but the legal age of buying and smoking is 16 here.

Isn't it much younger in Germany though? Like at 16 you can get as much drunk as possible...something Homey Simpson would put as...mmmm bear ) I guess that's why majority of people tend to have an image of Germans as drunks shock

Here's my thought on this topic Why bother wasting your time over some school girl who obviously does not give a damn about you??? Instead of wasting time figuring out what you've done "wrong", try to study those hours, remember God, help your parents, do something helpful for your community, donate blood, shovel the snow off an old lady's driveway, feed a poor bird that's been searching for bird seeds in your yard...there are so many things you can do instead to please God and that is exactly the reason we are here...not to worry as to why some oblivious girl is ignoring you.

I used to be young (22 now -not that old either-) and loved the thrill of getting tipsy/drunk. Although you always regret the last one when you bow down to let the drink "exit".

If you drink without giving a care in the world, you'll end up to be fat, lazy and have hangovers all the time...I've never had alcohol or even red bull, but I'd like to try someday...now that I am 21, I want to give it a shot.

I call myself a convert from Sunniism, because if you think about it I was indeed following restrictions imposed by someone other than God, when it came to diet, dress, my attitude...even the way I clipped my nails! I've left all that, thus, I believe I am a convert to Islam as I left my old "religion".

My junior year, there was a study abroad program where we all went to India for 6 months and I saw a Hindu family that had convereted to Sunnisim. It was strange because not often you see people from Hindusim converting to almost monotheistic faiths.

Of course not! I love God and for God I am not going to forget about my parents, pets and friends just because God is there.

My point was when we recieve guidance from God, the true Muslims are those who once realize what they were believing in or doing was wrong will leave it even if it means leaving those/such things would cause them hardship at first instead of ease.

A classic example is that of any prophet...take Moses as an example. Moses was raised in the royal pharoh's family as one of their own, but when he recieved guidance from God, he stood up against the pharoh, though he knew all too well doing so would cause him hardships not ease.
