TWO PHYSICAL RITUALS OF SALAAT (LET'S TALK) -
Why every ones afraidQuran 4913 O people, We created you from a male and female, and We made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Surely, the most honorable among you in the sight of God is the most righteous. God is Knowledgeable, Ever-aware.
What I think is interesting about this verse is that it eliminates "the notion that one tribe/nation is better than another." In other words, the Quran seems to support equality and condemn racism/supremacy. And it seems that people will only be judged on the scale of righteousness. Those who claim that islam supports racism, have been deceived, in my opinion. I think the notion that "islam supports racism" is a great misconception.
Agreed

Why every ones afraidI volunteer to be your guide in Dubai as I know the place very well. However the main purpose is to be able to talk, discuss (face to face) and that will be something... I hope you guys will seriously think about the Dubai get together.
cheers
I appreciate your effort and idea ... but this Dubai issue may not be feasible to may.. it can suit who live in the gulf countries or visit them frequency..

Why every ones afraidThe idea is interesting...Allah recommend ppl from different culture..back ground to get to know each other and socialize... modern technology make it easy and feasible.. I think one or two would carry out that and put some rules or regulations...

Why every ones afraidGreeting Folks,
Why everyone is so afraid or shy on here to have a real contact outside of this forum?
It would be nice if we can have say a whatsapp group or similar direct contact..
I would love to know folks from here outside of this website ...I guess people are afraid from the impact of revealing their identity, am I right?
Cheers
Sounds a good idea..

How to prostrate....On CHIN or on FOREHEAD?there is a quraanic verse talking about a sign that shows on the faces of believers as a result of sujood..does that signify anything?....
I also tried sujood with the chin touching the floor..it was painful... -
How to prostrate....On CHIN or on FOREHEAD?Youssef in his dream saw the sun and moon to him...that make sjd a physical act that can bee seen rather than being spiritual..my understanding so far..

First E-BookAll of these points will be made clear in Book 2.
So i have to wait till reading it, thanks for your effort and your reply..

First E-BookSalam Pazuzu
impressive disclosing work, which do make a lot of sense .. one thing is confusing to me.. there are some articles in free minds which i find convincing to a great extent talking about a place in jordan named Petra where we can find remenents of people of Lout, Aad and Thamoud (elephant status and great houses built within mountains and rocks).. Articles agree to the fact that events happened more or less in the same territory ....is there any explanation?

At what time we should break the fast? You asked this question last year and it was discussed in detail D and if you remember i told you your break fast is same as karva chouth.
Yeah i remember ...but actually we discussed the karva chouth in detail, not the timing of fast break .... so i am requestioning it again.

Are muslims allowed to have dogs?Yes, i was only stating what the sunni would claim.
-
Are muslims allowed to have dogs?If your sunni/shia friends tell you that dogs are evil, ask them why AhlulKahf had a dog among them.
The usual answer is... the dog was outside the cave not inside with them.

How much Zakat do I pay using quran alone? So according to your understanding the 20% includes the sadakat or nafaka or both.?
i am not sure of the meaning of the arabic word word which you translate it to in excess. -
How much Zakat do I pay using quran alone? You are required to spend 20% ( tax) of anything you profit, if you believe in God and the last Day. Anything that you give after that is Zakat. Anything you speand after the 20% is "excess" or " more than what is required."
Zakat = more than what you are required to give. hypno
would you post the Quarnic verses which go with your saying.

How much Zakat do I pay using quran alone?Peace
My humble understanding so far is that there are two ways of spending money mentioned in the Quran, the first is Nafaka according to 2215 and the second is Sadakat according to 960.
Concerning the Nafaka , i noticed the following people asked the prophet about it which could implys that they are the one in charge of distributing it and determining its amount, also the people desreving it are the near people like parents, relatives, the poor which the common individual can reach.
On the other hand sadakat in two verses seems to be linked to the prophet who can represnt the governer 9103 and 958, also the people desreving it are not that close a sort of can be reached by the governement. So i think Sadkat is the taxes we pay, and nafaka wich is stressed on in the QUran in many many verses is non identified amount, every one according to his ability , the more he spend the better he will be rewarded from God.Any comment will be appreciated

Refuting the 2 Salaat TheorySo would you say that, overall, the Sunnis are more tolerant?
Can't tell, as far as i know countaries with shiite and christians livig together as lebanon and iraq there is no major conflict between them. i think the conflict is more between sectors of the same religions(sunni and shiite, protostant and catholics, ......)
-
Refuting the 2 Salaat TheoryIs Egypt predominantly Shiite or Sunni? I know there is a large(ish) group of Christians there too, but I am trying to work out which is the more tolerant.
The vast majority iare sunni, as you said large group are christians (orthodox), regarding shiite very little if any.

Refuting the 2 Salaat TheoryYou welcome )

Refuting the 2 Salaat TheoryIS egypt different?
Peace
Yes, you can not put Egypt and saudi arabia in the same basket regarding Laws. in egypt there is no hand amputation in theft punishement, they only go to minor jail sentence, infact the crime rate is rising as many roberries take place in the middle of the days in a crowded areas with the thieves being untouched. also there is no stoning, you can say no punishment at all to fornication or adultary. In deliberate killing there is a death punishment but this is the case in many western countaries.Good point. To a westerner the laws in Egypt are scary too
would you provide examples.
-
Refuting the 2 Salaat TheoryThat's because the laws over there are down right scary and makes me not want to move over to Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Peace
i can understand your point regarding saudi arabia....... But Egypt ???
