  • Where is this Verse?...
    H Humble

Humble, allow me to indicate what I think Tanveer is implying, as simply as I am able

    Master Record = Umm Al-Kitab

Master Recording Device OR Master Computer = Lawh Mahfooth

Therefore, Master Recording Device/Master Computer (Lawh Mahfooth) -----> contains ----> Master Record (Umm Al-Kitab ------> contains ------> Al-Qur'aan and all other scriptures.

    Peace

Dear you are confusing more.He will again mind it.Let him define what is "Ummul-kitab".
In Divine record there are no hard disks ,CDs or chips or CPUs.There is only one record and that is "Lohi'mahfooz".If there is any other record with the name of Ummul-kitaab or term provide the proof or evidence from the Quran.

  • Where is this Verse?...
    H Humble

    Peace Humble,

I will repeat one more time

I never said that "umm al-kitaab" is the same as "lawh mahfooth" and my quotes prove that. I actually showed that the two were different.

Moderators please note the continued unsubstantiated/unevidenced harassment.

Then you used the "Ummul - Kitaab " for which record ??
Please explain this with evidence/proof from the Quran.
    Otherwise your statement of this

I think "umm al-kitaab" is the master record which includes al-qur'aan along with all the other scriptures revealed so far, and "lawh mahfooth" is the master recording device or the master computer, in which the master record is stored.

that you are using these terms synonymously. If not why don't you clarify for which record you are using this term of "ummul Kitaab."
    So simple

    Thanks

    Peace Humble,

Despite my request, you have yet again made unsubstantiated/unevidenced insulting, accusatory, and slanderous remarks against me and misrepresented what I said. I never said that "umm al-kitaab" is the same as "lawh mahfooth" and my quotes prove that. I actually showed that the two were different.

In reply No 14 you said

I think "umm al-kitaab" is the master record which includes al-qur'aan along with all the other scriptures revealed so far, and "lawh mahfooth" is the master recording device or the master computer, in which the master record is stored.

    Whose words are these ?
If it is not a fabricated term for it then please
What is your source /evidenc/proof for this term to use for this record ?Whose name Quran has given as Lohi-mahfooz ??

  • Quran's proposed economic system...
    H Humble

    Dear Humble,

Thus, there is no contradiction in my view thus far.

    Dear
There is a clear contradiction not in your statements rather between your statement and Quranic statement.
    You said

    peace all,

I haven't really studied this but from what I have read so far, I believe the following economic system is advocated
A capitalist system (freedom to pursue personal wealth) in which it is a legal duty to provide for the basic needs (e.g. food/water, shelter, education) for all members of society as well.

    2215, 597 amongst other signs.

    Any thoughts?

    Encyclpedia defines this captalism as

Capitalism generally refers to an economic system in which the means of production are all or mostly privately owned and operated for profit, and in which investments, distribution, income, production and pricing of goods and services are determined through the operation of a market economy. It is usually considered to involve the right of individuals and groups of individuals acting as "legal persons" or corporations to trade capital goods, labor, land and money (see finance and credit).

    Ref http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitalism

Whole economy of the Capitalism is based on the private investment which needs money.
    Quran orders
    2219
219 O Rasool! your companions ask you about the use of those things which benumb the human intellect e.g. wine etc. and about easily acquired money. These things are beneficial to some degree but the damage they do is far in excess of the benefit.

They also ask you as to how much they should spare for the help of others. Say all that is surplus to your needs (7/199).

In this way Allah makes His Laws clear to you so that you may reflect upon matters relating to this world as well as the Hereafter.

    Ref Exposition by GA Prewaiz.

A person who spends "All" beyond his needs is capable to do investment in private sector and erect factory after factory ??
If you do not call it as contradiction ,then giveup

    Peace Humble,

I haven't. You are quoting me and making a comment irrelevant to what I said. You need to read what I said again carefully. Given your careless attitude, no further comments from me.

    Peace

    Dear

    Peace AceOfHearts,

434 And it is held honorable and wise in the mother of the book (umm al-kitaab) with Us.

I think no one has right to change divine terms.
You always try to convey un-authenticated and fabricated information and this is one example.

    8521 No, it is a glorious Qur'an.
8522 In a tablet, preserved (lawhin mahfoothin).

Who has given this term of "Ummul -Kitaab" to "Lohi Mahfooz" ?
    Quran or some kitchen cabinet?

If you follow the Quran version that "spend whatever is beyond your needs' cannot allow 'freedom to persue personal wealth".

Both of these statements are contradictory.
To implement this quranic decree you will have to legislate. Then there is "No freedom to persue peronal wealth"

  • Quran's proposed economic system...
    H Humble

The individual determines, that is why an individual is accountable for their own actions.

Apparently looks very nice sermon, but impracticable.
No society can behave unless there is some legislative interference.

  • Quran's proposed economic system...
    H Humble

    peace all,

Humble, 2219 is to do with giving what one can spare / the excess, and this is for the individual to determine. If it was purely needs based and nothing else, then wills would be moot, and the post I referenced would be contradictory. Savings are allowed as long as one does not excessively hoard.

There must be some standard to determine what an individual's need is and what not.If it is left on each individual then there will be no limit for it.
If a person says 10 factories and 5 palaces are my need ,is this acceptable? Who is going to determine ?

Faith, that is not true as per my reading, please see this thread for example.

    How about it?
