Is there a difference between 'cheat' and 'betray'!?
Cheating implies having sex wth another man. While betrayal emplies betraying. So say for example, if i trusted my wife with my deepest secrets and she goes of to another man and laughs her head off about my secrets, then i have been betrayed. This is just one example. There are many ways she can betray.
Why would you shoot her if she did this or did that?
Becoz i will tell her before we marry what i will do. So putting it quite simply, she will have it comming if she ever betrays me or cheats on me. I expect the same from her. If i ever cheat on her or betray her, i expect to be shot as well. So its will be a mutual understanding.

Cameras can be manipulated. In many modern countries cameras are not allowed as a tool for evidence in the legislation for good reasons!
And the people giving testimoney cant?
Camera proof if crap proof when not supported by other evidence, that?s the reasoning in these countries.

Furthermore, let?s again not forget the consistency of the whole surah 24 which stresses privacy. When 4 witnesses see the crime this is a crime outside privacy. A camera would not fulfill this idea!!
Just becoz a wife is have sex with her garderner in her bedroom dont make it right. Privacy has nothing to do with this.

I cant quote becoz men dont report them. There is no "men internation for abused husbands". But it doesnt mean that its not happening. it happens in all countries.

Adultery only becomes a punishable crime in the quran when seen outside of privacy, virtually in public, by at least 4 witnesses (read 24/4).
Again, if the Quran had come down in this age, its rules would be different. For example, now we can catch any such activity on cameras. In this case, we dont need the 4 witness as the Quran sujjests.
Also, this makes a good point to those who support religious legislation. For them, only evidence submitable in court would be the testimony of 4 people who have witniessed the act. Where as in democracy, it will be agreed up by MAJORITY that a recording will be admisable in the court. D

OFCOURSE! i agree. SOme men are also asking for it. And women DO beat up their husbands. HAve you heard anyone woman being called a husband beater? No. Its only the men who have to go through that. So in that aspect, its a bit unfair. But regardless, no one should be hitting the wife or the husband. There are other ways to deal with that stuff.
And anyways, Thank God, u didnt suggest shooting the women who supposedly ASk FOR IT.

Then again iv'e seen women who can be so mouthy and spoilt that they keep provoking till the poor man can take no more and has to hit her to shut her up.
Oh i know some women like that x . And sometimes slapping them across the face IS the only way to shut them up. But then they turn around and call us women abusers.

The only evidence you gather then is that dont walk on carpet bare footed. Wear some slippers. If the day of judgement was a metaphore, then God would have said it JUST the way it is. Quran is clear. Unless God is telling us that yea the Day of Judgement is a metaphore. But its not.
