Science will debate and argue this matter for years. It probably won't be long before their definitions change again about planets , stars and moons. Science and God are in harmony the two cannot be separate or science would be a god. Sad to say it already is in a lot of peoples hearts. Space is a beautiful creation of our Lord's I have got lost looking at the night sky several times admiring the wonder of it all. Is their other life? Hi my name is Jerry Manuel I live in Dequincy Louisiana USA. After a lifetime of searching for truth and mainly peace of mind. I truly believe that I have found something to be real and not full of superstitions. I will tell a little about myself.
I was reared in Christian home with wonderful parents to taught me how to read when I was a child out of the Bible. I went to church knowing there was a God who loved me and would send himself to die for me. As I got older I discovered other belief systems believing them to be started from satan because it was not of God or his son. I met a Muslim one day who showed me his belief how they were different but alot the same. I was very unsure still. I studied christianity even more to prove it was true, this was its undoing for me. I studied and found things about church history that was very bad and caused me pain in my heart as I discovered how the scriptures were edited and some even left out. These men in Niacia dictated what was from God. Some I came to Islam it was very different than what I was used to but I found some peace. I went to mousqe learned to pray wash my hands and face and feet. I found this to be strange all of this ritual left hand wash with only. If you don't do it exactly right God will not here your prayer and it will not count. I read in Quran and no instructions were given for there rituals as they performed them. So I questioned those whom I knew they told me don't worry about it, this is the way the prophet did passed down from the generations. It still seemed liked silly superstitions. Anyway I became frustrated as I realized that God could not get His real message to us because of men who wanted to control that message. I tried many things again looking for peace and truth. I studied paganism(witchcraft) nature worship and buddhism, I found some satisfaction but still not was I was looking for. Durring evacuation last year from hurricane rita the only book I took to read was Quran, my wife made jokes because she is into witchcraft and hates Islam because of the things she sees on the news. After comming home I found a Quran only website as I read I loved what I saw. Then I read how the founder of this site refered to himself as a messanger of God. It real made no real difference to me as I am used to christian ministers claim the same thing, some even call themselves prophets. I found the free-minds website and enjoyed what I read. Now I am muslim want to worship God the right way. Quran only any help and advice is welcome. I am not unsure about God anymore just about what to do is right.
