I will tell you my story. I am 20 years old male from one insignificant Europe country. I was raised in non-religious family, but my parents have really good morals which I am very thankfull for. When I was 16 I started to feel empty and i was looking for answers. I have studied quantum physics, but was not sadisfied. Somehow( I dont remember how ) I stummbled upon Zen-buddhism which really struck me and gave me answers, It really changed me. I started to practise in Kwan-um Zen school of zen ( western form of korean Zen.). I also met some masters, and I can tell they certainly erase their Ego. Once I was at home, I was struck with immense feel of love I have never felt before. It was happiest 3 days of my life. But it went off. But in my head all I heards was "Allah". I was like " What ?" I hate Islam, I only know about it from not best sources. As i was practising mediatation I was interrested in Sudism ( I am still), and I wanted to become muslim. I kind of did say shadah and pray salat but, everytime when I read hadiths I almost cried, how horrible things are written there. But I stumbled upon this page, and I find so loving people here. I also read bible ( I have never did before) and it also corresponds with my views very much, as I consider Jesus to be highest form of morality, but i dont believe in trinity. I am only looking for the ways to get closer to God and fell his love. Sorry for the lenght and English. With love sun
