Thank you Wakas. It makes complete sense because before the age of sound judgement, the children follow from blind faith, fear, bribery etc. I suppose its one thing to gently involve them and expose them to what we follow, and quite another to make it compulsory without choice.
As it is, raising a child is difficult, and to do so in an atmosphere of constant scrutiny helps neither the parent nor the child.
