    Salaam, Abdelquran.

To me it's obvious some verses in the Quran are not to be followed anymore, but tell us about history.
I bet you agree, or do you still slay unbelievers where you can find them?

And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. 95

Nice try. This is the logical fallacy known as The Burden of Proof.

On the other hand, alot of ideas about hadj come from hadith.
I do not think you've looked into the subject from only a Quranic point of view, if you would, you might just agree.
If you follow booklets next to the Quran, discussing this case with you might proof a waste of time.

    Peace, abdelquran (and others).

The ?you? automatically means messenger? There?s no proof of this, sorry. If God knows that people would read his book, then surely he?ll know they?d be addressed as ?you?.

(Hope I quoted correctly, my apologies for my being new here)

Your arguement here holds no ground, you imply that the verse is towards the people.
But if it's towards the believers and it says they will come to you, which group other than the believers went on the hadj?
