My final two steps came through the past two years, through a brilliant person/scholar/mujaddid/human/whatever named Dr. Adnan Ibrahim on YouTube, talking about the myth of Dajjal/Mahdi/Return of Christ (a subject I was really interested in) and the source of it which came from the Bible's successors through hadith's, and how it has no relation to the Quran.... THERE, RIGHT THERE... I got the honor of feeling how true Islam feels, and what exactly is the sweetness of faith that the Qur'an talks about.

I find this very interesting, as when I first became Muslim I was told of many odd rituals and beliefs like the kissing of the stone, women discouraged from praying outside the home, entering the home with the right foot, the return of Prophet Jesus, the belief that Prophet Muhammad can intercede for us on the day of Judgement, the stoning of adulterers, the angels cursing women who refuse to sleep with their husbands, hell being occupied by mostly women, women not being able to touch the Qu'ran during menstruation, and many others I am still sifting through. I don't understand how the Hadith are upheld as a reliable source when not even the Bible and Torah remained the same as when God revealed it to the people. The only book we can truly rely on is the Qu'ran because God promised to protect his book.
