  • Need to get rid of some sections of the forum
    N newninja9272

I am posting this in the main section to get attention and changes be made!

There are too many unnecessery sections on this forum which makes it difficult and very unattractive to jump between them. It takes too much time to go through each of those sections to read/reply to the posts. It is even take time to scroll down to read through the list of sections!!! lol So the easy option is to post in the first forum at the top titled "General Issues".

This is the reason why most people just stick to posting in the main forum no matter what the topic is relating to. You need far less yet more wider sections so that members can easily and willingly post in the appropriate sections.

If you are going to make so many sections, then these sections should be put in the order of popularity such as General Issues at the top, then Hadith and Sunnah, then Quran Translation/Interpretation etc.

Hope something is done about this. What do others think? Give your views.

    General Issues / Questions

  • Infallible Muhammad (pbuh)
    N newninja9272

Ya Sin. By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- Thou art indeed one of the messengers, On a Straight Way.

By the Star when it goes down,- Your Companion is neither astray nor being misled. Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire. It is no less than inspiration sent down to him He was taught by one Mighty in Power,

In another thread earlier, Damon had tried to present arguments, like all other Hadith Rejecting Disbelievers on this forum, that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) was not perfect and comitted many sins and errors.

I will insha'Allah prove you all wrong in this post and show you that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) was free from error and sin as you falsely claim.

    Peace all,

The verse in question is 1736

And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge; for every act of hearing, or of seeing or of (feeling in) the heart will be enquired into (on the Day of Reckoning).

The verse implies that do not go after something which you have no knoweldge about, and that is exactly what you people are doing. NO ONE has EVER had any knowledge of the "Qur'an-only" doctrine in the history of mankind before you corruptors were born.

We have CLEAR Knowledge that the Qur'an is with us. We have CLEAR knowledge that the Ahadith are with us. We have clear records of how the Qur'an was preserved. And we have clear record of how the Ahadith were preserved. It is only YOU people who have sprung up recently and claim that these records are false WITH NO EVIDENCE whatsoever. We have written testimonies and evidence of the chain os narrators who heard the narrations directly from the messenger of Allah (pbuh). You have NO PROOF whatsoever against this. Therefore you people follow conjecture and are in pursuit of things you have no knowlede about.

First of all, you have absolutely NO Quranic basis whatsoever to attach the "message" to the fabricated hadith. Please show me where in the Quran does Allah ever say that we have to listen to hadith other than ahsunul hadith (The Quran). You Can't!!! Because it's not there. Period!!!

Of course there isn't. Why would Allah (swt) want you to follow a fabricated Hadith?? Allah (swt) has commanded us to follow the PROPHET of Allah (pbuh). Therefore any knowledge you have of him, you follow it. And what more knowledge do we have of him than in the Hadith books?? And you can't even prove is by basic logic that this is false. Too bad son.

Second of all, contrary to what you say, there are plenty of errors in the fabricated hadith. Here are a couple of them just for you

I am going to love this nice little list since you will be ashamed as you will be proven wrong again and again lol

Killing "Apostates", which is a commandment in hadith, contradict and violate the Quran 2256, 490, 1099, 1829, 8821-22

On the other hand, apostates such as you should be KILLED

If a person has left Islam and them wages war against Islam, whether verbal or physcial this person should be killed

    The punishment of those who wage war against Allah AND His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;

"They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they) But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;-"

Stoning adulterers, another hadith based injunction, contradicts and violtaes the Quran 242 and 425

How does it contradict those verses??? lol

In fact the Qur'an and Hadith go hand in hand in prescribing the punishment of lashing to adulterers. Where is the contradition? Where in the Holy Qur'an does it say that you can't stone the adulterers? And where in the Hadith does it say that they should not be lashed?? There is no contradition whatsoever. The punishment prescribed in the Qur'an is the COMPULSORY punishment, while in the Hadith the extra punishment of stoning in the case where the adulterers are married is the Sunnah punishment.

Forcing people to observe Salaat and killing them if they do not goes against 2256, 1829. These two verses are also violated when you kill people for drinking alcohol for a 4th time or more.

"Slay the idolaters wherever you find them. ... lie in ambush everywhere for them. If they repent and take to prayer and render the alms levy, allow them to go their way ..."

Besides, how is a CONTRADITION when the Qur'an no where does it state that "we should not kill those who do not prayer" or "those who drink". Only then would it be a contraditiction.

No one is ever claiming the commandments in the Holy Qur'an are exactly the same, with nothing added and nothing taken away from them. The Qur'an stands in it's own, while the Sunnah stands on it's own. And Alla (swt) has commanded us to follow the Sunnah of the messenger of Allah (pbuh)

These are Allah's limits, and whoever obeys Allah AND His Apostle, He will cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them; and this is the great achievement.
And whoever disobeys Allah AND His Apostle and goes beyond His limits, He will cause him to enter fire to abide in it, and he shall have an abasing chastisement" (Holy Qur'an 413-14)

The hadith that were fabricated saying that Muhammad was The Most Honorable Messenger goes against 2285

Why do you then follow the religion of someone who is not honoured in your site?? That is very illogical. Why don't you become a Christian since Jesus Christ (pbuh) was sinless, gave life to the dead etc.??

Verse 2285 is talking about the distinction in the sense of BELIEVING in them. Notice the word "believe" in the verse. We believe that they ALL came from Allah (swt) and all were rightly guided and came with ONE MESSAGE. It is in this regard that we make no distinction between them. On the other hand, Allah (swt) Himself states that prophet's have levels of honour

Those messengers We endowed with gifts, some above others To one of them Allah spoke; others He raised to degrees (of honour); to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear (Signs), and strengthened him with the holy spirit. If Allah had so willed, succeeding generations would not have fought among each other, after clear (Signs) had come to them, but they (chose) to wrangle, some believing and others rejecting. If Allah had so willed, they would not have fought each other; but Allah Fulfilleth His plan.

    The hadith claiming prophet Muhammad to be infallible contradict and violate 479, 9117, 1773-74, 3337, 4066, 661, 801-10, 937

    479
Whatever good (O man!) happens to thee is from Allah; but whatever evil happens to thee is from thy (own) soul. And We have sent thee as an Apostle to (instruct) mankind and enough is Allah for a witness.

The verse is talking about PEOPLE in general and NOT refering to the messenger directly.

    9117
Allah turned with favor to the prophet the Muhajirs and the Ansar who followed Him in a time of distress after that the hearts of a part of them had nearly swerved (from duty); but He turned to them (also) for He is unto them Most Kind Most Merciful.

I can't believe that a person who has very little mentality us given us verses such as these where the subject of the verse is someone else, and is is implying them on the prophet cos he hate nothing in his heart but HATE for the prophet. The verse is clearly talking about "some of them"... how did you take that to mean the prophet??

    1773-74
And their purpose was to tempt thee away from that which We had revealed unto thee to substitute in Our name something quite different (in that case) behold! they would certainly have made thee (their) friend! And had We not given thee strength thou wouldst nearly have inclined to them a little.

The verse talks about what was in the hearts of the hypocrites. And it is talking about a hypothetical scenario that did not occure. Of course, to a fools mind such as your's, he think such a thing had occured (i.e. the hypcrites succeeded in substituting the name of Allah with something else)

    3337
"And when you (Prophet) were ordering the person whom Allah had graced, and you, too, had graced him hold your wife with you and fear Allah; and you are hiding in your mind something which Allah is going to manifest, and you fear the people whereas Allah is more worthy of being feared. So when your adopted son (Zaid) had dissolved his marriage with that lady, We (i.e. Allah) had married you to that woman so that there should be no bar on believers in marrying the wives of their adopted sons when they finalize the breakage of their wedlock with them, and this was an order of Allah which was destined to be executed."

Zaid was an adopted son of prophet Muhammad (pbuh) long before he began his mission as a prophet. So you could say that this happened long before Islam came as a religion. As time went on, the religion of Islam was being formulated and put into practice by the Holy Prophet, as revealed to him by Allah (swt).

Zaid eventually got married to Zainab (ra). It was after this that any verses of the Holy Qur'an were revealed to the Holy Prophet (pbuh).

Then the revelation of prohibition of adoption were revealed to the Holy Prophet (pbuh). Therefore, from now on all adoptions have to come to an end, and people have to be known by their own real parents. No one can adopt another child and then claim that they were their own real children.

Coinsidently, the marriage between Zaid and Zainab was not working out, because Zaid was a free-slave while Zainab considered herself higher socially superior, so reluctantly Zaid divorces Zainab (pbuh). There are many issues here,

    1. Zaid was a free-slave, while Zainab was socially superior than him
    2. After the divorce no one would have married a widow who was divorced by a free-slave
    3. Zaid was the adopted son of the prophet and therefore, people in those days believed that an adopted son was like a real son.

Then the verses were revealed that ordered the Holy Prophet (pbuh) to marry Zainab (ra). This was done so so clear all those false stigmas in the society as that time. Even thought the Holy prophet tried very hard to save the marriage of Zaid and Zainab by requesting them not go to with the divorce, it was destined that they'd be divorced so that another lesson from the marriage between the Holy Prophet and Zainab was to be learned by mankind. See below.

By marrying Zainab, the Holy Prophet (pbuh) gave the superiority to women who were divorcees, and being divorced by someone who was considered lowe in the society would result in that woman never to find a husband again. Therefore, the Holy Prophet broke this stigma and gave the superiority to women in this sense that we should not look at who the person was who divorced the woman.

Also, by marrying Zainab (ra) the the Holy Prophet (pbuh) demonstrated practically the nullification of all adoption. Had adoption been of any significance, it would not have been possible that the Prophet marries a former wife of his former adopted son. The fact that the marriage took place and was specifically ordered by Allah left no doubt whatsoever that adoption is totally forbidden in Islam. Read the aboveverse again that explains all this.

    4066
Say "I have been forbidden to invoke those whom ye invoke besides Allah seeing that the Clear Signs have come to me from my Lord and I have been commanded to bow (in Islam) to the Lord of the Worlds."

How does this suggest that the prophet was in error like you claim to believe?

    661
O Prophet! Why holdest thou to be forbidden that which Allah has made lawful to thee? Thou seekest to please thy consorts. But Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Where does it say that the Messenger comitted a mistake??????

As the context of the verse goes.. some of the prophets wives became jellous of each other that the prophet spends more time with the others and less with them. So he decided that for one whole month he would not any sexual relations with any one of them. The Holy Prophet had decided not have have intercourse with any of his wifes for a whole month so that those jeleous wives would feel better. Since the Holy Prophet has human feelings he had to right to feel this way, did he not?

This is when Allah (swt) revealed the above verse to give a message that you should not "abandon", "forbid" or "make unlawful" something that Allah (swt) has made lawful for us. In a sense it is a message going to mankind through this action of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) that we cannot abandon something or forbid it just to make someone happy.

So tell me, where did he go wrong???

    801-10
(The Prophet) frowned and turned away, Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?- Or that he might receive admonition, and the teaching might profit him? As to one who regards Himself as self-sufficient, To him dost thou attend; Though it is no blame to thee if he grow not (in spiritual understanding). But as to him who came to thee striving earnestly, And with fear (in his heart), Of him wast thou unmindful. By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instruction Therefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance.

Where did he "error"? And how? He simply turned his back to the blind man that came to him because the prophet (pbuh) was merciful and thought how could a blind man comit a sin and need guidance? He focussed on delivering the message to those who were rich and comitted much evil.

Nevertheless, this was in fact a message to us, the Muslims in time to come that we should not focus just on those big forces of evil, the rish and the opressors. We should also guide and give knowledge to the weak, the poor and the needy. They too will no doubt will benefit from spiritual knowledge even thought they may not be comitting sins.

There is no mistake or "error" on the part of the Holy Prophet (pbuh). He was simply given guidance on how to and to whome to give the message of Allah (swt) to.

    937
And He found thee wandering and He gave thee guidance.

That is a misinterpreted verse. The translation might be correct but it is misinterpreted by the majority. The real meaning of this verse is given in the translation by Ahmad Raza Khan (r.a.)

And He found thee wandering and He gave thee guidance.

And He found you drown in His Love, therefore gave way unto Him.

"Daallan" is often applied to the one who is "obsessive in love" and in this case for Allah (swt). He used to visit the cave of Hira and for 3 days at a time he used to stay there worshipping Allah (swt). The food that his wife Khadijah used to leave for him used to be left untouched and he had become so deeply attached in love for Allah (swt) that his feet used to get swollen due to excessive standing while praying. In this way he has lost his awareness about the world, and he was given the good news of prophecy and success in the near future about his mission, as described in the same surah.

The verse can also apply to another situation when the Holy Prophet (pbuh) when he was young became lost. He was about 6 years old and walking with his nanny Halima. On the way to the prophet's mother house, he became lost and Halima couldn't find him. She called out for him but there was no sign of where he had gone. Then someone saw that two men in white came put the boy down in the ground and cut open his chest, took his heart out and washed it with zamzam water. The people came running to Halima and told her that her son had been murdered! She came running to where they had seen him but she saw him walking about normally.

So the verse could also apply to this case where he became lost to OTHERS and was not lost in himself in the sense of erring. He was purified and then "handed" back to Halima.

But I personally go with the first explanation as I have described above.

If you take the meaning to be that he was in error or was led astray, then it contradicts this verse

By the Star when it goes down,- Your Companion is neither astray nor being misled.

All the hadith that claim the prophet to have power of intercession violate and contradict 248,123,254, 670,94, 753, 103, 3944, 4386 and 7448

All these verses that speak about "no intercession" apply to hadith rejectors like you. On the other hand there are tonds of verses that apply to us the Sunnis where intercession will be given to us

Allah! There is no god but He,- the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).

Verily your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority), regulating and governing all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His leave (hath been obtained). This is Allah your Lord; Him therefore serve ye will ye not receive admonition?

On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord.

On that Day shall no intercession avail except for those for whom permission has been granted by (Allah) Most Gracious and whose word is acceptable to Him.

And We did not send before you any messenger but We revealed to him that there is no god but Me, therefore serve Me. And they say The Beneficent Allah has taken to Himself a son. Glory be to Him. Nay! they are honored servants They do not precede Him in speech and (only) according to His commandment do they act. He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they do not intercede except for him whom He approves and for fear of Him they tremble. And whoever of them should say Surely I am a god besides Him, such a one do We recompense with hell; thus do, We recompense the unjust.

"No intercession can avail in His Presence, except for those for whom He has granted permission. So far (is this the case) that, when terror is removed from their hearts (at the Day of Judgment, then) will they say, ?what is it that your Lord commanded?? they will say, ?That which is true and just; and He is the Most High Most Great?."

Those who sustain the Throne (of Allah) and those around it Sing Glory and Praise to their Lord; believe in Him; and implore Forgiveness for those who believe "Our Lord! Thy Reach is over all things, in Mercy and Knowledge. Forgive, then, those who turn in Repentance, and follow Thy Path; and preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire! And grant, our Lord! that they enter the Gardens of Eternity, which Thou hast promised to them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their posterity! For Thou art (He), the Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom. And preserve them from (all) ills; and any whom Thou dost preserve from ills that Day,- on them wilt Thou have bestowed Mercy indeed and that will be truly (for them) the highest Achievement."

And those unto whom they cry instead of Him possess no power of intercession, saving him who beareth witness unto the Truth knowingly.

How many-so-ever be the angels in the heavens, their intercession will avail nothing except after Allah has given leave for whom He pleases and that he is acceptable to Him.

The hadith which forbids men to wear gold and silk has two flaws. One, it violates Quran 548-49, 731-32

To thee We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have we prescribed a law and an open way. If Allah had so willed, He would have made you a single people, but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute; And this (He commands) Judge thou between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they beguile thee from any of that (teaching) which Allah hath sent down to thee. And if they turn away, be assured that for some of their crime it is Allah's purpose to punish them. And truly most men are rebellious.

Where does it say ANYTHING about silk and gold there?? Looks like you are blind.

and Two, it shows a double standard or "Favortism" on the prophets part because he allowed one of his "Companions" to wear gold. If it's haraam, it should be spread across the board, and not only be applicable to certain people, right???

Which companion did he allow to wear gold? Quote the hadith. Making ablind statement doesn't mean anything.

That was just a minute sampling of all the bullet holes that are sprinkled throughout the fabricated hadith and sunnah.

I am enjoying this since your ass is getting lashed left, right and center. Give me more, give me more!!! lol

please give me some verse which says that only Quran alone was sent to Prophets before Prophet Muhammad.

    2101, 320, 3531, 568, 2135, 4125.

    2101
And when there came to them a messenger from Allah, confirming what was with them, a party of the people of the Book threw away the Book of Allah behind their backs, as if (it had been something) they did not know!

Where does it say that "only the Qur'an alone was sent and that is the only thing you should follow"?? lol

    320
So if they dispute with thee, say "I have submitted My whole self to Allah and so have those who follow me." And say to the People of the Book and to those who are unlearned "Do ye (also) submit yourselves?" If they do, they are in right guidance, but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah's sight are (all) His servants.

Again, where in the world does it say that only Qur'an-only was given to the previous prophets? In fact this verse tells us to follow the messenger on top of following Allah (swt).

    3531
That which We have revealed to thee of the Book is the Truth,- confirming what was (revealed) before it for Allah is assuredly- with respect to His Servants - well acquainted and Fully Observant.

Where does it say that ONLY the book (i.e. the Qur'an) should be followed??

    568
Say "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith.

Again, where does it say that Qur'an only should be folowed or that was the only thing sent to mankind??? roll

    2135
O ye who believe! seek help with patient perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with those who patiently persevere.

Absolutely. However, I thought you were trying to give us verses that show that only the Qur'an is to be followed and that was the only thing sent to mankind!!! lol

    4125
Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to Allah, does good, and follows the way of Abraham the true in Faith? For Allah did take Abraham for a friend.

Again, absolutely. You have just proven yourself wrong by giving us verses that show that Allah (swt) commands us to follow the prophet's of God and not just the message that is given to them.

    LOSER!!!!!! twisted

Tough Luck son. As you can see, you failed to give a SINGLE piece of evidence even from the book that you so much boast to follow. lol Did I not tell you before hand that I am going to love replying to your false thoeories and will prove you wrong in all aspects. And just look at my reply above and you will agree if you are a true seeker of Truth.

I am sure you must be feeling really embarrassed and ashamed that I proved you so wrong. Tough luck son. Not everyone in the world is on the right path. And you just happened to choose to follow the wrong path. There is still time, so repent and accept the Messenger of Allah, Muhmmad (pbuh) with all your heart and honour and follow him. Insha'allah.

    Peace.

  • Why does every page refresh on the forum?
    N newninja9272

When you move back and forward in the forum, every page refreshes automatically. Why is this so? This has caused problem sometimes when writing a message to be posted.

Let's say that I'm writing a message and I accidently click on some link. Now, I want to go back and finish off writing my message so I can post it. But when I go back, guess what?? the message is gone because the page has refreshed. So now I have to type the whole message again. This happens with every page on the forum when moving back and forward. Clicking on a link is another issue, then the page you are going to SHOULD refreshed, but when you click BACK on the explorer, it SHOULD NOT refreshed, but should show the same view as you were seeing when you were there previously.

I hope I made this clear, and this can be fixed. Many times, I am posting a message, and click something or the page automatically goes to another page, and when I click BACK, my post is gone, and I have to type again.

  • True Faith in the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
    N newninja9272

I gathered all the verses from the Holy Qur'an to formulate the true faith of the Believers according to the Holy Qur'an

Obey Allah (swt) AND obey the Messenger of Allah (pbuh)

"If anyone disobeys Allah AND His Messenger he is indeed on a clearly wrong path."

"He that obeys Allah AND His Messenger has already attained the great victory."

"And whatever the Messenger gives you, take it, and whatever he forbids you, leave it. And fear Allah truly Allah is severe in punishment. "

"Say (to them O beloved Muhammad) If you (men) really do love Allah then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

"O you who believe! Obey Allah AND obey the Messenger AND those charged with authority among you; and if you differ in anything among yourselves, then refer it to Allah AND the Messenger if you do believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is best and most suitable for final determination." (Surah Al-Nisa' 459)

Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and beware (of evil) if ye do turn back, know ye that it is Our Messenger's duty to proclaim (the message) in the clearest manner.

The Messenger's duty is but to proclaim (the message). But Allah knoweth all that ye reveal and ye conceal.

Say "Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger but if ye turn away, he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and ye for that placed on you. If ye obey him, ye shall be on right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to preach the clear (Message).

And whoso obeys Allah AND this Messenger shall be among those on whom Allah has bestowed His blessings - the Prophets, the Truthful, the Martyrs, and the Righteous. And an excellent company are they.

"Whosoever obeys the Messenger, he has obeyed Allah; and he who turns away - We have not sent thee as a warder over them."

The absolute authority given to him

"But no, by the Lord, they can have no (real) Faith, until they make thee (O Muhammad) judge in all disputes between them, and find in their souls no resistance against Thy decisions, but accept them with the fullest conviction."

"While we were sitting with the Prophet a man came and said, "O Allah's Apostle! I have been ruined." Allah's Apostle asked what was the matter with him. He replied "I had sexual intercourse with my wife while I was fasting." Allah's Apostle asked him, "Can you afford to free a slave?" He replied in the negative. Allah's Apostle asked him, "Can you fast for two successive months?" He replied in the negative. The Prophet asked him, "Can you afford to feed sixty poor persons?" He replied in the negative. The Prophet kept silent and while we were in that state, a big basket full of dates was brought to the Prophet . He asked, "Where is the questioner?" He replied, "I (am here)." The Prophet said (to him), "Take this (basket of dates) and distribute them as charity to the poor." The man said, "O Allah's Apostle! Should I give it to a person poorer than I? By Allah; there is no family between its (i.e. Medina's) two mountains who are poorer than I." The Prophet smiled till his premolar teeth became visible and then said, "Then go and feed your family with it."(as a compensation for breaking your fast!)" (Bukhari and Muslim, narrated by Abu Huraira)

Love that Allah (swt) has for him

Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet (Muhammad) O ye that believe! send ye blessings on him and salute him with all respect. Those who annoy Allah AND his Apostle Allah has cursed them in this world and in the Hereafter and has prepared for them a humiliating Punishment.

Verily soon your Lord will stand you (O beloved Muhammad) at a place where ALL will praise you (Maqam-e-Mahmood).

And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased.

We see the turning of thy face (for guidance) to the heavens; now shall We turn thee to a Qiblah that shall please thee.

Have We not expanded thee thy breast? And removed from thee thy burden, The which did gall thy back? And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)?

Hadhrat Aisha (R.A.) said "O Holy Prophet! I swear by Allah! I observe that He fulfils your every desire very quickly" (Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)

Love for him is the essense of true faith

"Say 'If your fathers or your sons or your brothers or your wives or your tribe, or any wealth you have acquired, or any business you fear may slump, or any dwelling-places which please you, are dearer to you than Allah AND His Messenger and fighting hard in jihad in His Way, then wait until Allah brings about His command.'"

"But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission."

Narrated 'Abd Allah bin Hisham 'We were with the Prophet (SAAW) and he was holding the hand of 'Umar ibnu Al-Khattab (RAA). 'Umar said to him, "O Allah's Messenger (SAAW)! You are dearer to me than everything except my ownself." Allah's Messenger (SAAW) said "No, by Him in Whose Hand my soul is, (you will not have complete Faith) untill I am dearer to you than your ownself." Then 'Umar (RAA) said "However, now, by Allah, you are dearer to me than my ownself." He (SAAW) then said "Now, O 'Umar, (now you are a believer)."

Love that he has for the Believers

Now hath come unto you a Messenger from amongst yourselves it grieves him that ye should perish ardently anxious is he over you to the Believers is he most kind and merciful. (912

"The Prophet is closer to the Believers than their own selves".

He is the Mercy to all the Universe

Verily in the (Qur'an) is a Message for people who would (truly) worship Allah. (O beloved prophet!) We sent you not but as a mercy and blessing for the entire universe (al-Alameen). Say "What has come to me by inspiration is that your Allah is One Allah will ye therefore bow to His Will (in Islam)?"

The Holy Prophet said, "I have been sent as a prophet for all of Allah's creation," (Muslim)

A villager came to the Holy Prophet and said, "what proof can you give me that you are a true prophet?" The Holy Prophet replied, "If I call that bunch of dates from that date-palm tree, it will come to me and testify that I am Allah's (true) prophet." The holy Prophet then called it. That bunch of dates began to come down the palm tree and fell at the Holy Prophet's feet. Then the Holy Prophet commanded it to return to its place. The bunch of dates then returned to its original place on the palm tree. (Having seen the miracle, the villager accepted Islam). (Tirmizi)

Hazrat Ali (R.A.) says that I once accompanied the Holy Prophet on a journey outside Makkah. Every tree and stone that we passed said aloud, "Assalaamu aliaka ya Rasoolallah!" (blessings and salutations upon you O Holy Prophet!) (Tirmizi)

He is the best example to mankind

You have, indeed, in the Messenger of Allah an excellent exemplar, for whoever hopes for Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much.

He is the first of Creation

No partner hath He this am I commanded, and I am the first of those who bow to His will.

Hazrat Qatada (May Allah be pleased with him) narrates in an Hadith
"The Holy prophet (peace be upon him) said 'I am the first created from the prophets in terms of the process of creation; whilst in terms of appearance of prophethood I am the last'."

Imaam Ahmed, Tibrani, Haakim and Baihaqi (On them be peace) have reported this Hadith
Hazrat maisarah (May Allah be pleased with him) asked Since when were you a Prophet? He replied "When Adam (On him be peace) was still passing through the stage of being between the soul and the body" i.e. I was already a Prophet before Hazrat Adam (On him be peace) was even created. This Hadith has been recorded by Imam Bikhari (May Allah bepleased with him ) in his book At-Tarikh.

It is narrated in an Hadith
"Hazrat Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) saidOh Messenger of Allah! May my parents be sacrificed for you! Inform me about the first thing created by Allah Almighty? The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) replied ?Before everything else Allah Almighty created the Light (Noor) of your continued to travel with the power of Allah Almighty wherever it had desired to be. At that point in time there was no Divine Tablet, nor the Pef of Destiny, no Paradise nor hell, nor angels, nor the sky or the earth, nor sun nor the moon, nor jinns nor humans?."

Jabir ibn `Abd Allah said to the Prophet "O Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you, tell me of the first thing Allah created before all things." He said "O Jabir, the first thing Allah created was the light of your Prophet from His light, and that light remained (lit. "turned") in the midst of His Power for as long as He wished, and there was not, at that time, a Tablet or a Pen or a Paradise or a Fire or an angel or a heaven or an earth. And when Allah wished to create creation, he divided that Light into four parts and from the first made the Pen, from the second the Tablet, from the third the Throne, (and from the fourth everything else)."

Imaam Abdur Rahman Al-Jauzi, a very famous and authentic Imaam of the sixth century (A.H) narrates the following Hadith from Hazrat Umar bin Al-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with him) in his book
"The Holy Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) says when Hazrat adam (On him be Peace) erred by eating from the prohibited tree, he pleaded to Allah Almighty through the medium of the Holy Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) to pardon him. In reply Allah Almighty asked? Oh Adam! Who is Muhammed (Peace be Upon Him) ? How do you know about him? ? The reply of Adam (On him be Peace) was. ?Oh Allah! After you had created me and I raised my head for the first time and gazed upon the Holy Throne I saw the name of Muhammad joined with Your blessed name. From this I understood that Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) is the most auspicious and blessed creation to You, so much so, that You have joined his blessed name with Yours upon the Throne. Allah Almighty approvingly said. You have spoken the truth. He is the final Prophet from your entire progeny. If it was not for him I would not have created you".

    His Knowledge of Unseen

With Him are the keys of the Unseen the treasures that none knoweth but He. He knoweth whatever there is on the earth and in the sea. Not a leaf doth fall but with His knowledge there is not a grain in the darkness (or depths) of the earth nor anything fresh or dry (green or withered) but is (inscribed) in a Book, Clear (to those who can read!).

"He discloses not His unseen (ghayb) to anyone, except only to such a Messenger as He is well-pleased with." (Holy Qur'an 7226)

Narrated Abu Huraira We were in the company of Allah's Apostle in a Ghazwa, and he remarked about a man who claimed to be a Muslim, saying, "This (man) is from the people of the (Hell) Fire." When the battle started, the man fought violently till he got wounded. Somebody said, "O Allah's Apostle! The man whom you described as being from the people of the (Hell) Fire fought violently today and died." The Prophet said, "He will go to the (Hell) Fire." Some people were on the point of doubting (the truth of what the Prophet had said) while they were in this state, suddenly someone said that he was still alive but severely wounded. When night fell, he lost patience and committed suicide. The Prophet was informed of that, and he said, "Allah is Greater! I testify that I am Allah's Slave and His Apostle." Then he ordered Bilal to announce amongst the people 'None will enter Paradise but a Muslim, and Allah may support this religion (i.e. Islam) even with a disobedient man.' (Bukhari)

Hazrat Umar (r.a.) relates "The Holy Prophet stood before us one day and told us about everything that had happened from the beginning of creation and everything that was going to occur right up to the time when the inhabitants of Paradise and the inhabitants of Hell would occupy thri respective places in these two abodes. He who remembered these facts remembered them and he who forgot them forgot them." (Bukhari)

"Hazrat Huzaifa relates "...these friends of mine (the sahaba) know this. Whenever any of those events occur which I had forgotten, then on seeing it taking place, I immediately remember it in the same way as a person recognises someone immeditely, whom he has not seen for a long time." (Bukhari, Muslim)

"We were in the company of Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) when he smiled and said Do you know why I laughed? We said Allah and His Apostle (peace be upon him) know best. Thereupon he said It was because of the (fact that there came to my mind the) conversation which the servant will have with his Lord (on the Day of Judgment). He will say My Lord, have you not guaranteed me protection against injustice? He will say Yes. Then the servant will say I do not deem valid any witness against me but my own self. He will say Well, it is sufficient to have the witness of your self against you, and that of the two angels who were appointed to record your deeds. Then the seal will be set upon his mouth and his hands and feet will be asked to speak and they will speak of his deeds. Then the mouth will be set free to talk. He will say (to the hands and feet) Away with you! May the curse of Allah be upon you. It was for your safety (from hell) that I contended." (Sahih Muslim)

Says nothing out of his own desire
but everything he says is inspiration sent to him from Allah (swt)

Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire. It is no less than inspiration sent down to him He was taught by one Mighty in Power,

He follows nothing but the inspirations of Allah (swt)

Follow what thou art taught by inspiration from thy Lord there is no god but He and turn aside from those who join gods with Allah.

But follow that which comes to thee by inspiration from thy Lord for Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do.

Allah (swt) takes an oath that prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is indeed a Messenger and on a straight path

Ya Sin. By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- Thou art indeed one of the messengers, On a Straight Way.

He is the Seal of Prophethood

"O people! Muhammad has no sons among ye men, but verily, He is the Apostle of God and the Last in the line of Prophets. And God is Aware of everything." (Surah Al Ahzab 33.40)

Those who deviate and split the religion up are not part of us

And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you That ye may be guided.

"Verily those who split up their religion and became sects, you have absolutely nothing to do with them."

Those who reject faith, there is no use in discoursing with them, since they will not believe

As to those who reject Faith it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.

Verily Allah has cursed the Unbelievers and prepared for them a Blazing Fire,- To dwell therein for ever no protector will they find, nor helper. The Day that their faces will be turned upside down in the Fire, they will say "Woe to us! Would that we had obeyed Allah AND obeyed the Messenger!" And they would say "Our Lord! We obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us as to the (right) Path. "Our Lord! Give them double Penalty and curse them with a very great Curse!"

Blasphemous individuals against Allah AND the prophet should be KILLED

    The punishment of those who wage war against Allah AND His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;

"Those who blasphemed and back away from the ways of Allah and die as blasphemers, Allah shall not forgive them."

"Those who believe, then disbelieve, then believe again, then disbelieve, and then increase in their disbelief - Allah will never forgive them nor guide them to the path."

Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that since you do not BELIEVE in the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) WHOLEHEARTEDLY (by rejecting half of his life and believing in only the "messenger" part of his life), you people are DISBELIEVERS. I hope that is a straight forward answer to you.

    Peace

    Zed.

  • The Method of Salat in the Light of Authentic Ahadith
    N newninja9272

Here are the complete Ahadiths on Salaat (prayer) from beginning to end, according to the Hanafi Madhab, taken from the book

Sifatus Salat The Method of Salat in the Light of Authentic Ahadith
Aspects of the Salat with evidences used by the Hanafi Madhhab,
Shaikh Muhammad Ilyas Faisal Madinat al-Munawwara.

    The Masnoon Method Of Wudu
Hazrat Usman (radhiallahu anhu) once asked "Should I not show you the manner in which Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) performed his wudhu?" Thereafter he performed wudhu in such a manner that he washed every limb thrice.

Masah (passing wet fingers) Over The Nape.
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (radhiallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said "Whoever performs wudu and makes masah over his nape, he will be saved from wearing a necklace (of fire) around his neck on the the day of judgement". The famous commentator of Sahih al-Bukhari, Allamah Ibn Hajar Asqalaani (R.A), writes in his book Talkheesul Habeer (vol. 1 p.92) that this narration is Sahih. Allamah Shawkani (R.A.) has also affirmed this in Naylul Awtaar (vol. 1, p.204).

    Performing Masah Over Ordinary Socks
    (i.e. cotton, woolllen, polyester, etc.)

It is not permissible to make masah over ordinary socks (cotton, woollen, nylon, etc. ? i.e. all socks other than leather socks) in wudhu. There is no authentic narration sanctioning this practice. In the commentary of Tirmidhi, Tuhfatul Ahwazee, the famous Ahle Hadith scholar Allamah Mubarakpuri, has written that this practice of making masah on woollen, cotton, nylon socks and socks made from similar materials is not established from any authentic Hadith (vol. 1, pg.333). Many other high ranking scholars of the ghair muqallid sect (those who do not prescribe to taqleed) have refuted this practice and declared it as impermissible. (see fatawa Nazeeriah; 1423)

Prescribed Times For The Five Daily Salaah
Hazrat Abu Huraira (radhiallahu anhu) narrates "When the length of your shadow (from the sun) is equal to your height then perform the zuhr salah. When the length of your shadow becomes twice your height, perform the asr salah. Perform the maghrib salah when the sun has set. Perform the esha salah before one-third (1/3) of the night passes. And perform the fajr salah while it is still dark."

    Masnoon Time For Zuhr Salaah
Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said "When the heat becomes very intense (after mid-day), then delay the zuhr salah until it cools down, for verily the intensity of the heat is from the effects of Jahannam".

    Masnoon Time For Asar
It was the noble habit of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) that he used to delay the performance of asar so long as the sun remained white and clear.

    Masnoon Time For Fajar
Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is reported to have said "Perform the fajar salah when the sky brightens at the time of dawn (i.e. before sunrise) since this is a means of earning greater reward.

Imam Tirmidhi explains that the majority of the Sahaaba (radhiallahu anhum) used to perform fajar salah at this time (i.e. when the sky had brightened up).

    Masnoon Method Of Iqaamah
Hazrat Bilal (radhiallahu anhu), Rasulullah's (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) muazzin, used to call out the words of azaan and iqaamah twice. (This Hadith is classified as Sahih ? Musannaf Abdur Razzaak; see Aathaarus Sunan v.1, pg. 53)

The muazzins of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), Abu Mahzoora (radhiallahu anhu) and Thaubaan (radhiallahu anhu) also used to call out the azaan and iqaamah in the above mentioned manner (i.e. by saying the words twice). Allaamah Shawkani (R.A.) has affirmed the authenticity of the above narrations in Naylul Autaar, (vol.2. pg.24.)

    Characteristics of the Salaah

Covering of the Head During Salaah
Ibn Umar (R.A.) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) wore a white hat. (Tabarani ? Allama Suyuti has classified this Hadith as highly authentic see Sirajul Muneer; v.4, pg.112). It is written in Fataawa Thunaaiyya vol. 1, pg. 525), and in the Fatawaa of the Ahle Hadith Scholars (vol. 4 pg.291) that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) always used to keep his mubarak head covered during salah. In the same books it is also mentioned that to intentionally remove the headgear (hat) and perform salah bare-headed is contrary to the sunnah. (vol. 1, pg.523.)

To Raise the Hands upto the Earlobes
Hazrat Qataada (radhiallahu anhu) relates that he saw Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) performing his salah. He relates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) used to lift his hands until they were in line with his earlobes.

To Tie the Hands Beneath the Navel
Hazrat Ali (radhiallahu anhu) relates that the sunnah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is to place one hand over the other below the navel.

The above-mentioned method of tying the hands is also related by Hazrat Anas (radhiallahu anhu).

    Reciting Bismillah Softly
Hazrat Anas (radhiallahu anhu) states, "I have performed congregational salah behind Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthmaan (radhiallahu anhum) and I did not hear any one of them recite Bismillahir rahmaan nir raheem"

Imam Tirmidhi (R.A.) states that the majority of the Sahaba (radhiallahu anhum) also used to recite Bismillah softly.

The Muqtadi (follower) Should Listen and Remain Silent
Allah Ta?aala says "When the Qur?an is being recited then listen attentively and remain silent so that mercy will be showered upon you".

Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud, Abu Hurairah, Abdullah Ibn Abbas and Abdullah Ibn Mughaffal (radhiallahu anhum) state that this verse of the Quran was revealed with regards to the Khutba (of Juma?ah) and with regards to Salaah.

The dictates of this verse of the Holy Qur?an is that when the Imam recites the Qur?an aloud, the followers should listen attentively, and when he recites softly, the followers should remain silent.

Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is reported to have said "When you begin your congregational prayers, straighten your rows. Thereafter when the Imam says the takbeer (i.e. when he says Allahu Akbar aloud) you must also say the takbeer. However, when he begins the recital of the Qur?an, you must remain silent. And when he recites walad daalleen then you should say Ameen". By performing your salah in this manner Allah Ta?ala will love you."

(A similar Hadith has been narrated by Abu Hurairah (radhiallahu anhu)-Imam Muslim has attested to its authenticity; ibid).

The muqtadi Must Not Recite Surah Fatiha
It is reported from Hazrat Ataa Ibn Yasaar (radhiallahu anhu) that he questioned Hazrat Zaid Ibn Thaabit (radhiallahu anhu) concerning reciting Qira?at with the Imam. Hazrat Zaid (radhiallahu anhu) answered "There is no recitation of the Glorious Qur?an in any salah behind the Imam".

The Qiraat of the Imam SUFFICES for the Muqtadi
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (radhiallahu anhu) used to repeatedly say "Whoever performs salah behind the Imam, the Imam?s qiraat suffices for him". (Sunan Baihaqi; chapter on not reciting qiraat behind the Imam ? Imam Baihaqi (R.A.) has stated that this Hadith is Sahih.)

The Person Performing salah Individually Must Recite Surah Fatiha, Not the Muqtadi
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (radhiallahu anhu) was asked "Must the muqtadi recite behind the Imam?" He replied that the qiraat of the Imam is sufficient for the muqtadi. But if he performs salah individually, then he must recite qiraat. It was the practice of Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (radhiallahu anhu) also that he would not recite surah fatiha behind the Imam. (In Aathaarus Sunan (Vol. 1 pg.89) this Hadith has been classified as sahih).

Hazrat Jaabir (radhiallahu anhu) narrates that the one who does not recite sura fatiha even in one rakat, his salah is not valid. However, if he is behind an Imam he must not recite surah fatiha. (This Hadith has been classified as hasan ? Tirmizi - ch. on not reciting behind the Imam). It is on the basis of this Hadith that Imam Tirmidhi (R.A.) has narrated from Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal (R.A.) that the narration "Whoever does not recite surah fatiha his salah is not complete" refers to one who performs his salah alone. It does not include the muqtadi (Jami? Tirmidhi, ibid). In the above Hadith it is very clearly mentioned that the muqtadi must not recite sura fatiha.

    "Aameen" Must be said softly
Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is reported to have said "Do not hasten before the Imam! When he says the takbeer, then you should do the same. When he recites Walad daalleen, then you should say Aameen. When he makes ruku? then you should make ruku?. And when he says sami?-Allahu liman hamidah then you should say Allahumma Rabbana wa lakal hamd".

With regards to the saying of Ameen this narration is very clear and explicit. Like in the case where the Imam says Allahu Akbar and sami?-Allahu liman hamidah aloud, but all the followers say "Allahu Akbar"and "Rabbana lakal hamd" softly. In the same manner when the Imam recites "walad daalleen" aloud, the followers should say Aameen softly. It is also reported from Abu Ma?mar that Umar (radhiallahu anhu) used to say "The Imam will recite four things softly-Ta?awwuz, Bismillah, Aameen and Rabbana Lakalhamd" (Aini Vol. 1 pg. 620)

Raising the Hands (upto the shoulders) During Salaah
Hazrat Jaabir Ibn Samurah (radhiallahu anhu) relates that once Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) came out of his house towards us and said "Why is it that I see you all raising your hands as though they are the tails of stubborn horses. Be tranquil in salah".

This hadith alone makes it clear that those narrations which mention the raising of the hands (during the salah) were narrated prior to the prohibition of this practice.

Proof from the PRACTICE of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (radhiallahu anhu) said "Shall I not show you the manner in which Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) performed his salah?" Thereafter he performed the salah but he did not raise his hands except at the beginning (of his salah). This Hadith is classified Hasan. Ibn Hazm (R.A.) has declared it as sahih. Ahmed Shakir (R.A.) has also declared it as sahih.

Proof from the Practice of the Sahaabah (radhiallahu anhum)
It is related that Hazrat Ali (radhiallahu anhu) used to raise his hands at the time of the first Takbeer (during his salah). Thereafter he did not raise them.

(The commentator of Bukhari Shareef, Allama Ibn Hajar, Allama Zayla'i and Allama ?Aini (R.A.) have said that this narration and its chain of narrators is Sahih)

One should take note of the fact that the practice of Hazrat Umar, the remaining Khulafa-e-Raashideen, Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Mas?ud and many more Sahaabah (radhiallahu anhu) was the same, that they only raised their hands at the time of the first takbeer. Imam Tirmidhi (R.A.) also states that this was the practice of a great number of the Sahabah (radhiallahu anhum).

Jalsatul Istiraaha - Sitting briefly After The 2nd Sajdah Of The First Or Third Rakaat
In a narration from the ibn Sahl (radhiallahu anhu) it is mentioned that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said the takbeer and simultaneously went into sajdah. Then he said the takbeer and simultaneously stood up erect without sitting.

Imam Bayhaqi (R.A.) has recorded in his Sunan that this was the practice of Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Mas?ud (radhiallahu anhu). Allama Zayla'i (R.A.) has recorded in Nasabur Raayah that the same procedure was the practice of Hazrat Umar, Ali, Abdullah Ibn Zubeir and Abdullah Ibn Abbaas (radhiallahu anhu). (vol. 1, pg. 289)

Likewise Allaamah Turkumani has recorded in Jauharun Naqi regarding several Sahaba (radhiallahu anhum) that it was their practice that after the first and third rakat they would stand up straight from sajdah without sitting. (vol. 1, pg. 125)

    Tashahhud
Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is reported to have said "When you sit during salah (for Qa?dah Akheerah, the last Qa?dah) read the following-

"All oral, physical and monetary worship is due to Allah alone. Salutations to you ?O Nabi, and the mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you. Peace be upon us and upon all the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that none is worthy of worship besides Allah and that Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is his servant and messenger.)

Thereafter he would choose from the supplications whatever he wished."

    .

Rasing the Index Finger During Tashahhud
It is narrated that when Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) used to sit down to supplicate, (to recite tashahhud) he used to place his right hand on his right thigh and his left hand on his left thigh. He would indicate at the time of reciting the shahadah by raising his index finger. He would also join the ends of his thumb and middle finger (thereby forming a circle).

    Darood Sharif
The Sahaabah-e-Kiraam (radhiallahu anhum) inquired from Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) as to which durood should they recite (during salah). Innaka hameedun majeed.

(trans O Allah shower your mercy upon Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and the family of Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) as you have showered your mercy upon Ibrahim (A.S.) and the family of Ibrahim (A.S.). Behold, you are Praiseworthy, Glorious. O Allah shower your blessings upon Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and the family of Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) as you have showered your blessings upon Ibrahim (A.S.) and the family of Ibrahim (A.S.). Behold, you are Praiseworthy, Glorious.

    Miscellaneous

Raising Both the Hands and Making Dua
It is narrated that Abdullah Ibn Zubair (radhiallahu anhu) saw a man raising his hands and making dua before completing his salah. When the person had completed his salah, Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Zubair (radhiallahu anhu) went up to him and said "Verily, Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) used to only raise his hands and make dua after completing his salah" (the narrators of this Hadith are all trustworthy ? Majmauz Zawaaid, vol. 1, pg. 169).

It is also mentioned in the Fataawa of Ahle Hadith (vol. 1, pg.190) as well as in Fatawa Nazeeriyya (vol. 1, pg. 566) that in the light of the Sharia, the dua after salah is an authentically established practice and it is mustahab to do so.

    Sunnats BEFORE Salaat al-Zuhr
Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said "Whoever performs four rakats before the fardh of zuhr and four rakats after it, Allah Ta?aala will make him haraam upon the fire of Jahannam".

    Sunnats BEFORE Salaat al-Asr
Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) has said "May Allah show mercy upon that person who performs four rakats before the fard of `asr".

    Sunnats of Salaat al-Maghrib
Hazrat Abu Ma?mar (radhiallahu anhu) has said that the Sahaabah (radhiallahu anhum) used to consider 4 rakats after the Fardh of maghrib to be mustahab.

    4 Rakaats Before Salaat al-Isha
Hazrat Sa?eed Ibn Jubair (radhiallahu anhu) narrates that the Sahaabah (radhiallahu anhum) used to regard the performing of four rakats before the fardh of isha as mustahab.

    Three Rakaats of Witr
Hazrat A?yesha (radhiallahu anha) is reported to have said (with regards to the tahajjud salah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) "He (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) never used to perform more than eleven rakats, whether in Ramadhan or out of Ramadhaan. Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) would perform long rakats in two units of four rakats each with such excellence and devotion which cannot be described. Thereafter he would perform three rakats of witr salah".

    Reciting Qunoot Before Ruku?
Hazrat Aasim (radhiallahu anhu) narrates "I inquired from Hazrat Anas Ibn Malik (radhiallahu anhu) concerning the qunoot of witr. He affirmed its occurrence in the witr salah. Then I asked whether it should be recited before the ruku or after it. He replied "It should be recited before the ruku". I then informed him of a certain person who had heard him (Hazrat Anas (radhiallahu anhu) saying that it should be recited after ruku. Hazrat Anas (radhiallahu anhu) most vehemently denied this". Furthermore he said "Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) recited the qunoot after the ruku for only one month.(referring to the qunootun naazilah)" .

In Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah it is mentioned that for this very reason the Sahaaba-e-Kiraam (radhiallahu anhum) used to recite the qunoot before ruku.

Allaama Ibn Hajar (R.A.) writes in his commentary on Bukhari, Fath al-Bari that after analysing all these narrations we learn that it was the normal practice to recite the qunoot before ruku.

However on certain occasions (such as the befalling of a calamity, etc.) the qunoot would be recited after ruku. (vol. 1, pg. 291)

Salaam Should Be Made at the End of the Witr salah
Hazrat A?yesha (radhiallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) used to perform three rakats witr without making salam in between (i.e. after two rakats.)

Allama Ibn Hajar (R.A.) writes in Fathul Baari, the commentary on Sahih Bukhari, that Hazrat Ubay Ibn Ka?b, Hazrat Umar, Abdullah Ibn Mas?ud and Anas Ibn Malik (radhiallahu anhum) used to make salam at the end of three rakats witr, not in between. (vol. 1, pg. 291)

    Two Rakaats Sunnah of Fajr
It is narrated that once Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (radhiallahu anhu) reached the masjid whilst the Imam was leading the salah of fajr with the congregation. Hence, since he had not as yet performed the two rakats sunnah of fajr, he stood behind one of the pillars of the masjid and performed it (while the jama?ah was in progress). Thereafter he joined the jamaat.

This was also the practice of Abdullah Ibn Abbas, Abu Dardaa and Uthmaan (radhiallahu anhum).

Qada of the Two Rakaats Sunnah of Salaat al-Fajr
Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is reported to have said "Whoever did not perform the sunnah of fajr should perform it after the sun rises".

In the Muwwatta of Imam Malik (R.A.) it is narrated that this was also the practice of Abdullah Ibn Umar (radhiallahu anhu).

Salaat al-Tarawih During The Lifetime Of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)
It is narrated that one night during Ramadhaan Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) performed salat al-tarawih in the masjid. A group of Sahaabah joined him during his salah. The following night the same happened as the previous night except that the number of followers had increased considerably. Hence on the third (or fourth) night Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) did not come out to the masjid to perform salat al-tarawih with the people. The following morning he said to them "Indeed I had seen your eagerness (to perform the tarawih behind me), but for the fear that this salah will be made fardh (compulsory) upon you during Ramadhaan, I did not come out to join you in the tarawih".

Salaat al-Tarawih During the Period of the Rightly-Guided Khulafa' (TWENTY RAKAATS)
Hazrat Yazeed Ibn Ruman (radhiallahu anhu) narrates that during the khilaafah of Hazrat Umar (radhiallahu anhu) the Sahaabah used to perform twenty rakats tarawih and three rakats witr salah (with jama`at).

During the khilafah of Abu Bakr (radhiallahu anhu) tarawih with jamaat was not in vogue. The practice of performing twenty rakats with jamaat in every night of Ramadhaan and the completion of the entire Quraan began only during the the khilafat of Hazrat Umar (radhiallahu anhu). All the Sahaabah present had agreed upon this practice. From then onwards including the Khilafah of both Hazrat Uthmaan and Hazrat Ali (radhiallahu anhu) upto this day the Muslim Ummah (at large) has followed this practice.

Twenty rakats tarawih is also performed in both the Masjids of Makkah and Madinah upto the present time. However, it is tragic that in recent times a group of people have conflicted with the consensus of the Sahaabah (radhiallahu anhum) and the rest of the Ummah with regards to the number of rakats in Tarawih salah.

    The Takbeers Of Salaat al-Eid
Hazrat Abu Musa Ash?ari (radhiallahu anhu) was asked regarding the number of takbeers that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) used to say in both the Eid salahs. He replied "He (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) used to say four takbeers (in every rakat), in the same way as he used to say the takbeers in the salat al-Janaaza". Hazrat Hudhaifa (radhiallahu anhu) also confirmed this practice of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam).

Imam Tirmidhi (R.A.) has also recorded several narrations of similar meaning from Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud and other Sahaabah-e-Kiraam (radhiallahu anhum).

Distance Of Shar?i Safar (Travel in the Shariah)
It is narrated that Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Umar and Abdullah Ibn Abbas (radhiallahu anhu) would perform Qasr salah and that they would also make iftaar (i.e. they would not fast) whenever they travelled the distance of four burud. Four burud is sixteen farsakh i.e. 48 miles. .

It is mentioned in Fatawa Thunaiyya that the majority of the Muhadditheen say that 48 miles is the correct distance of Shar?i travel (safar). Nine miles is incorrect. (vol.1, pg.482)

The Duration Of Time Pertaining To Qasr
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (radhiallahu anhu) stated that whoever intends to stopover at any place along his journey for fifteen days (or more), he should perform his salah fully (i.e. he should not perform Qasr salah.)

Manner of standing in the rows of the jama`ah
It is established from several ahadith that the row should be absolutely straight and no gaps should be left between the worshippers. However, some people insist on spreading their feet and standing in such a manner that their ankles touch the ankles of their neighbour. What is the reality of standing in this fashion?

Those who stand in this way base their practice upon a hadith narrated by Nu?maan bin Basheer (radhiallahu anhu). He says "Once Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) faced us and said "Straighten your rows". He repeated this thrice. He then said "By Allah, you must most certainly straighten your rows or else Allah Ta?ala will disunite your hearts". Hazrat Nu?maan bin Basheer (radhiallahu anhu) says "I then saw the people joining together their shoulders and ankles".

The concluding statement of Hazrat Nu?maan (radhiallahu anhu) is also reported in Sahih Bukhari.

However, upon analysing this hadith, several points come to light Firstly, Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) never commanded the joining of the ankles. No hadith has yet been found wherein Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) himself instructed the Sahaaba (radhiallahu anhu) to join their ankles. The Sahaaba (radhiallahu anhu) had themselves adopted this manner in order to fulfil the command of straightening the saff. Secondly, this hadith clearly mentions that Nu?maan bin Basheer (radhiallahu anhu) saw the Sahaaba (radhiallahu anhu) doing this PRIOR to the commencement of the salah. There is no mention of this position being maintained even after the salah had commenced. Therefore we find that great muhadditheen such as Hafiz ibn Hajar (R.A.) and Allama Shawkani (R.A.) have regarded this as an extreme measure which was occasionally adopted by the Sahaaba (radhiallahu anhu) to ensure that the row is straight.

In fact, a hadith of Hazrat Anas (radhiallahu anhu) makes it absolutely clear that this practice was merely a measure adopted BEFORE the salah to ensure the straightening of the row. He says "If I had to do that (join the ankles) with anyone of them (the tabi?een) today, they would run like wild mules".

This simply means that the taabi?een severely disliked that anybody should join their ankles with them. Several points are understood from this Firstly, Hazrat Anas (radhiallahu anhu) had stopped doing this completely. Had this been a sunnah and not just a manner of ensuring that the saff was straight, it is impossible that Hazrat Anas (radhiallahu anhu) would have left it out merely upon somebody disliking it.

Secondly, the taabi?een would never have disliked it if they had observed many of the Sahaba (radhiallahu anhum) continuously practicing upon this. It was only due to the fact that they had not generally observed the Sahaba (radhiallahu anhum) adopting this procedure that they disliked it. Hence this makes it crystal clear that the Sahaba (radhiallahu anhum) had only occasionally adopted this practice to ensure the straightening of the saff. It was not a sunnah in itself, otherwise they would never have left it out.

It has already been made clear that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) never himself instructed the joining of the ankles, nor is there any mention of the Sahaba (radhiallahu anhum) having maintained this position even IN salah. However, if for a moment we do accept that this position must be adopted during the course of the salah as well, the question is In which posture of salah must this position be maintained? Must it be maintained during qiyam, ruku, sajdah and qada or in only some of these postures? If one says that the ankles should be joined only in the qiyam posture, on what basis were the other postures excluded? If it is argued that it is difficult to do so in ruku and sajdah, the same could be said for qiyam, since to stand with one?s feet spread apart is naturally awkward and hence it presents a certain amount of difficulty and uneasiness for many people. In short, this practice is not established as a sunnah of salah. It was merely adopted initially by the Sahaba (radiallahu anhum) BEFORE the commencement of salah to ensure that the rows are straight.

    N newninja9272

THIS TOPIC OF MINE WILL PROVE TO YOU THAT THE "QURANISTS" (beliefs of Free-Minds.org) ARE ON THE WRONG PATH!!!

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

"To each is a goal to which Allah turns him; then strive together (as in a race) toward all that is good. Wheresoever ye are Allah will bring you together. For Allah hath power over all things."

I will try to give you a short commentary on the verse I quoted above and related verses that come before it.

We begin at verse 2142 of the Holy Qur'an. Allah says

The fools among the people will say "What hath turned them from the Qiblah to which they were used?" Say To Allah belong both East and West; He guideth whom He will to a Way that is straight.

Let us study the background of the revelation of this verse. Before the Holy Prophet migrated to Medina, the Qibla was in Jerusalem. When the Holy Prophet used to pray salaat in Makkah, he used to face Jerusalem in such a way as to keep the Holy Ka'ba (in Makkah) in front of him too. He did this because of his respect for Ibrahim (pbuh), who built the Holy Ka'ba and who prayed that Allah should send an Apostle (the Holy Prophet) into the world who would spread the Deen of Islam.

When the Holy Prophet migrated to Medina, he could not face the two Qiblas at the same time while praying. This was because now, Jerusalem and Makkah were on opposite sides to where he was standing. So because the functional and operational Qibla at that time was in Jersulem, the Holy Prophet prayed his salat facing Jerusalem, while he remained in Medina.

This tradition of the Holy Prophet remained active for sixteen or seventeen months. When the unbelievers in Makkah realised this practice of the Holy Prophet, they began to argue with the Muslims "see what your prophet is doing? When he lived in Makkah, then to keep you happy he used face the the Qiblah in Makkah, and now that he has migrated to Medina, he has fogotten about the Qiblah in Makkah and to keep the Jews happy he has began to turn to the Qiblah in Jerusalem. Such is your prophet." In Medina, the Jews said similar words to the Holy Prophet. They began to argue that "in every other way in life, you have adopted your own unique way, why not make your own Qiblah too instead of facing our Qiblah in Jerusalem?". The Holy Prophet felt a slight burden on himself because of this dilemma. He had a feeling and desire in his heart that the Qiblah should be changed for the Muslims.

While in this state, some old woman of Medina invited the Holy Prophet and other sahaba (his companions) for dinner. The Holy Prophet visited her home. The dinner was still being prepared and so the Holy Prophet told the woman that they will go to the mosque for pray, and will return to eat the dinner after they have prayed.

In the mosque, the Holy Prophet and the sahaba stood up to pray their salaat (pray). They faced the Qiblah in Jerusalem with the Qiblah in Makkah behind their back. The Holy Prophet's desire for the change of Qiblah became even greater. The pray was four rakats long and they had already prayed two rakats. They had two rakats remaining when his desire became so great that the Holy Prophet raised his blessed face towards the sky. It was at this moment in time when the Quranic verse was revealed that gave the order to the Muslims to change their Qiblah

"We see the turning of thy face (for guidance) to the heavens; now shall We turn thee to a Qiblah that shall please thee. Turn then thy face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque (in Makkah); wherever ye are turn your faces in that direction. The people of the book know well that that is the truth from their Lord nor is Allah unmindful of what they do."

Now because the revelation and Divine order for the change of Qiblah was revealed, the Holy Prophet turned around to face the Qiblah in Makkah, which was behind his back. He did this while still leading the sahaba in pray. The situation was such that the Holy Prophet (the Imaam) was facing the Muqtadee (the ones who are following the Imaam in pray). So the Imaam and Muqtadee were facing each other while they were in the middle of pray. Since the Qiblah had been changed, the Holy Prophet was therefore standing BEHIND the Jamaat (the sahaba) who were facing him. Since the Imaam has to be in front of the Jamaat, the Holy Prophet walked through the sahaba to the opposite side.

The sahaba would never do anything which was against the Qur'an or the Sunna. They were still facing Jerusalem which was according to them thier FUNCTIONAL Qiblah and did not know that revelation had been revealed to the Holy Prophet where Allah commanded them to change the Qiblah. This was a very difficult situation for them. What should they do?? Should they continue with their pray while facing Jerusalem which was their functional Qiblah and an order of Allah, or should they turn around and face the Holy Prophet because of their faith in him, their love and respect for him. It was a very difficult situation for them because on one side they had the Qiblah, to which they had been used to in facing while they prayed; it was a divine order as well. On the other side they just had the Holy Prophet. This was a time to test who truly loved and followed the Holy Prophet. They had to make the decision there and then, because they were in the middle of the pray. Allah mentions that it was a very difficult test for them in the following verse

"Thus have We made of you an Ummah justly balanced that ye might be witnesses over the nations and the Apostle a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qiblah to which thou wast used only to test those who followed the Apostle from those who would turn on their heels (from the faith). Indeed it was a very difficult test except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people most surely full of kindness Most Merciful."

It is very important to note that the sahaba were in the middle of salaat when the verse which ordered them to change the Qiblah was revealed. Therefore they could not have been aware of what was happening. They were not aware why the Holy prophet faced towards them, walked towards them, through them, and then stood behind them, facing the other way. They were not aware that Allah wanted to TEST the sahabas on the faith they had in the Holy Prophet. Now the situation was such that the sahaba had their FUNCTIONAL Qiblah (according to them) on one side to which they were already facing, and they had the Holy Prophet on the other side who was standing behind them. What should they do?? Subhanallah, the sahaba succeeded in the test without hesitation and they all turned around to face the Holy Prophet.

It is narrated in Bukhari Shareef

"Allah's Apostle prayed facing Baitul-Maqdis (in Jerusalem) for sixteen or seventeen months but he loved to face the Ka'ba (at Mecca) so Allah revealed "Verily, We have seen the turning of your face to the heaven!" So the Prophet faced the Ka'ba and the fools amongst the people namely "the Jews" said, "What has turned them from their Qibla (Baitul-Maqdis) which they formerly observed"" (Allah revealed) "Say 'To Allah belongs the East and the West. He guides whom he will to a straight path'." A man prayed with the Prophet (facing the Ka'ba) and went out. He saw some of the Ansar praying the 'Asr prayer with their faces towards Baitul-Maqdis, he said, "I bear witness that I prayed with Allah's Apostle facing the Ka'ba." So all the people turned their faces towards the Ka'ba."

Some people were praying outside while facing Jerusalem. A man who had prayed earlier with the Holy Prophet facing the Ka'ba in Makkah went outside and saw them. He said in a load voice that he had prayed facing Makkah, so all those people while they were praying turned around to face Makkah without breaking their salaat. This is narrated in the following Hadith from Muslim Shareef

"The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to pray towards Bayt al-Maqdis (in Jerusalem), that it was revealed (to him) "Indeed We see the turning of the face to heaven, wherefore We shall assuredly cause thee to turn towards Qiblah which shall please thee. So turn thy face towards the sacred Mosque (Ka'bah)" . A person from Banu Salamah was going; (he found the people) in ruku (while) praying the dawn prayer and they had said one rak'ah. He said in a loud voice Listen! the Qiblah has been changed and they turned towards (the new) Qiblah (Ka'bah) in that very state."

Let's come back to the verse, which I mentioned earlier

"We see the turning of thy face (for guidance) to the heavens; now shall We turn thee to a Qiblah that shall please thee. Turn then thy face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque (in Makkah); wherever ye are turn your faces in that direction. The people of the book know well that that is the truth from their Lord nor is Allah unmindful of what they do."

In this verse, there are a couple of points which need to be raised. The purpose of this verse was to give a divine order to the Muslims to face the Qiblah while praying.

Before Allah gave this order he also said "We see the turning of thy face (for guidance) to the heavens; now shall We turn thee to a Qiblah that shall please thee." Now what is the significant of these words? Is there any command in these words? Is there any divine order in this verse? Is it part of any Shariah? Is it any Sunna? You can keep searching for headings for which these words of Allah belong to, but you will not find any heading to which they belong to except THE LOVE OF THE HOLY PROPHET. Allah tells the Messenger, "(O beloved!) We see the turning of thy face (for guidance) to the heavens". In the next part of the verse Allah says "now shall We turn thee to a Qiblah that shall please thee." Notice Allah says that He will turn the Holy Prophet to the Qiblah which will please him. So before the Divine order, there are two parts which talk about the Love for the Holy Prophet.

My dear Muslim brothers and sisters, you too should fill your heart with two parts of Love for the Holy Prophet before filling the remaining one part in following the commandments of Allah. Faith and Love for the Holy Prophet comes first, actions come after. If we did not have faith in the Holy Prophet, how can we have faith in Allah? We did not know who Allah was before the Holy Prophet came, We did not know what Qiblah was before the Holy Prophet came, we received faith because of the Holy Prophet, we received the Qur'an because of the Holy Prophet. We received the whole of our Islam because of the Holy Prophet. So fill your hearts with the love and respect for the Holy Prophet.

There are many many verses like the above in the Holy Qur'an which I would love to carry on writing about. They give no lessons to us except the Love and respect for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). But due to lack of time, I must leave it here.

    Assalatu-Wassalaamu-Ala-Sayyidina-wal-Mursaleen, Wal-Hamdu-lillahi-Rabbil-Alameen
Peace and blessings of Allah (swt) be upon our Master Muhammad (pbuh).

A friend of mine posted the following article in a forum on another website. I have given a reply to him in that forum, which I would like to share here. In this post of mine, I will post the orignal article. In my next post below, I will post my response to this article.

Here is the article taken from www.free-minds.org......

"...O people of the scripture, let us come to a common agreement between us and between you; that 1) we do not serve except GOD, and 2) we set nothing-up besides Him, and 3) that we do not take each other as patrons besides GOD...." (Book of GOD - Quran 364)

This website has been created for all people who have a desire to allow GOD into their lives and follow His path alone...

This website invites all people of various beliefs (Sunni, Shia, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Bahai, Agnostic, Humanist, and even Atheists) to come and examine for themselves the system of Submission/Islam which is based on GOD Alone.

Many of you may outwardly be content with your current faith or that which you inherited from your parents and community...but to some out there, there will always be a tugging at the back of their mind that 'there is something more', and that 'some things don't always make sense'...

If you are one of those people, then open your eyes, put on your thinking cap, and welcome to an open examination of the system of Submission/Islam which very few know about...

    TODAY'S ISLAM

What about the 1.2Billion people who already know about Islam?.

Well, the bad news for them is that what they know and what they practice is not Islam, but is a different religion which goes by the name of Sunni, Shia, or any other derivative name..

The system of GOD is taught to us through GOD and His messenger as outlined in the Book of GOD (The Quran) which was revealed centuries ago...

The Book claims legitimacy for itself and within itself, allowing NO room for self-made priests, or religious leaders, who misinterpret and misquote the Book of GOD for personal gain...

?Shall I seek other than GOD as a JUDGE, when He has revealed to you THIS BOOK FULLY DETAILED?. Those to whom We have given the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbour any doubt. (Quran 6114)

"Say, 'Whose testimony is the greatest?' Say, 'GOD's. He is the witness between me and you that THIS QURAN has been inspired to me, to preach it to you and whomever it reaches. Indeed, you bear witness that there are other gods beside GOD.' Say, 'I do not testify as you do; there is only one god, and I disown your idolatry.' (Quran 619)

?And certainly We have come to them a Book, which We have DETAILED with knowledge, a guidance and mercy for a people who believe? (Quran 752)

?Surely We have revealed the Book to you with truth that you may JUDGE between people by that which GOD has shown you; and be not an advocate on behalf of the treacherous." (Quran 4105)

"And We have sent down the Book to you as a CLARITY FOR EVERYTHING, and a guidance and mercy and good news for those who Submit." (Quran 1689)

"And We have revealed to you the Book with truth, authenticating what is in it of the Book and a guardian over it, therefore JUDGE between them by what GOD has revealed, and do not follow their low desires from the truth that has come to you;" (Quran 548 )

    WHAT ABOUT OBEYING THE MESSENGER?

The Sunnis and Shia will be concerned with this question upon which their faith is built...

The gravest crime the self-appointed scholars who claimed to be Muslim made was to give authority to the traditions (Sunna) and the books of Sayings (Hadith) ALONGSIDE the authority of GOD and His messenger. They believe that it was GOD who authorized such action by commanding the people to ?obey GOD, and obey the messenger??

"Whosoever obeys the Messenger, he has obeyed GOD; and he who turns away - We have not sent thee as a warder over them." (Quran 480 )

What is so sadly neglected is that the most critical aspects of the messenger?s life have been recorded and captured in the most detailed manner?not in the books of Hadith or tradition?but in the Holy Book itself. The questions that he was asked, and the answers (inspired by GOD) that he gave

They ask you about intoxicants and gambling?. Say 'in them is great sin, and befit for the people; but their sin is greater than their benefit'..." (Quran 2 219).

?And they ask you about the Spirit?. Say' the Spirit is one of my Lord's commands, and the knowledge you were originally given was very little' (Quran 1785)

The list of questions and answers goes on throughout the Book of GOD?This is the life of the Messenger, and this is the ?obedience? of the messenger?Without ?obeying the messenger?, we would inadvertently ignore nearly 1/3 of the Book of GOD which deals with his most authentic narrations authorized and inspired by GOD which we have been commanded to follow?

?Nor does he speak out of Desire. It is no less than inspiration being inspired? (Quran 533-4)

WHAT IS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ISLAM AND SUNNI OR SHIA FAITHS?

If you would like to know some highlights of major differences between Islam (the unknown and unpracticed system), and the Sunni or Shia faiths (highly popular amongst 1.2Bn people), then see the following points

    • In Islam, the requirement to be a Muslim is to simply accept and live according to the ?Straight Path? (6151-153), Vs. the Sunni or Shia 5-pillars which come from unauthorized books?

    • In Islam, abolishing Slavery is taught to be an act of righteousness (9013), Vs. Sunni and Shia teachings which encourages slavery under war?

    • In Islam, women are never forbidden from praying or fasting during Menstruation (2222), nor is there a specific dress code (i.e. the Headscarf) imposed on them beyond modesty, Vs. the Sunni and Shia which teach the undermining of women and forcing them to cover their hair and avoid praying or fasting at certain times...

    • In Islam, a man or women may leave a Will, after settlement of debt (411), Vs. Sunnis who refuse to accept wills if there are any direct descendants...

    • In Islam, Monogamy is the only allowed form of marriage/relationship (420), Vs. Sunnis where a man may be a polygamist simply if he can afford to, and Shia which allow sex for pleasure (prostitution)...

    • In Islam, Divorce is enforceable only after a 4-month waiting period, and it may be made nullified if the couple reconcile before the end of this period (651, 654), Vs. Sunni teachings that destroy families by allowing a divorce to occur on the spot with no waiting period and no nullification...

    • In Islam, Thieves do not have their hands cut-off, but are made to work until they return that which is stolen (1275), Vs. Sunni and Shia teachings which brutally amputate the hands causing disability...

    • In Islam, no one is allowed to be killed or Stoned for adultery (242), Vs. Sunni and Shia laws of stoning married adulterers to death...

    • In Islam, absolute Freedom of Religion is allowed (2256, 490; 1099; 1829; 8821-22), Vs. Sunni and Shia requiring apostates to be killed and rejecting the practice of other faiths...

    • In Islam, people are acknowledged as being diverse and each is to be respected for his/her level of spiritual growth. A Submitter ?Muslim? must work to attain the status of Faithful ?Mumin? (4914), Vs. Sunni and Shia teachings that all followers of their religion must think, act, and even look the same (cult syndrome)...

    • In Islam, War can only be declared in cases of self-defence - no offensive (2190), Vs. Sunni and Shia teachings allowing raids and attacks on any people who are considered non-Muslim by their standards...

    • In Islam, praying to GOD can be done at any time by any person (2186) Vs. Sunni and Shia teaching that GOD is to be called upon at 5 specific times a day in a ritual format?

    • In Islam, Pilgrimage is a centre for gathering of nations and for all to witness the benefits of being together (2227-28 ), Vs. Sunni and Shia bringing in polytheistic rituals and superstition (touching of black stone, circling 7 times, etc..)...

    • In Islam, a Year is a luni-solar count made of 365-days (1712, 936), with all the seasons fitting-in-place Vs. Sunnis teaching it to be a lunar one based on 354 days which creates confusion of seasons and time?

    • In Islam, males and females are not required to be Circumcised (327), Vs. Sunni and Shia teachings requiring all males to be circumcised and females in some cases...

    • In Islam, music, statues, gold and silk are all Lawful (548-49, 731-32, 16116), Vs. Sunni beliefs forbidding silk & gold for men, and forbidding music & statues for all...

    • In Islam, rule of Government is under the constitution of the Book of GOD and by free-speech (589-10). Vs. Sunni teachings which allow the rise of dictators or monarchs, and Shia teachings which uphold self-appointed religious leaders based on genealogy.

Therefore, the clearest difference is that Islam is a monotheistic, clear, consistent, dynamic, progressive, balanced system...a system that eliminates conjectures, hearsay, fairy tales and contradictions...therefore it eliminates hardship, confusion, chaos, and division. It is a system which puts more accent on the usage of intellect, reason, pondering over GOD, His Creation, meaning of life, pondering over everything...While the sects represent superstition, unfair treatment for non-cult members, inequality of the sexes, oppression of human rights, inability to contribute to human progress, amputations or physical violence, regression of ideas and thoughts to primitive levels of barbarism, and most importantly setting-up partners with the One True GOD and thus promoting polytheism.

    GOD ALONE

For the Sunnis and Shia who are shocked by the words they have been reading, we invite you to seek GOD Alone with your heart and your mind and to give-up all the previous wasted years of idolatry and polytheism that you have unknowingly been party to...For our Lord tells us that it is never too late to seek His forgiveness

"Proclaim 'O My servants who exceeded the limits, never despair of GOD's mercy. For GOD forgives all sins. He is the Forgiver, Most Merciful." (Quran 3953)

But be warned that by simply turning away without verifying what has been said here can bring the gravest of consequences

"Who are more evil than those who are reminded of their Lord's revelations, then disregard them, without realizing what they are doing. Consequently, we place shields on their hearts to prevent them from understanding it (the Quran), and deafness in their ears. Thus, no matter what you do to guide them, they can never ever be guided." (Quran 1857)

NOW ASK YOURSELF WILL GOD ALONE BE ENOUGH FOR YOU?

"When GOD ALONE is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the hereafter shrink with aversion. But when OTHERS are mentioned besides Him, they rejoice" (Quran 3945)

    WHY IS ISLAM FOR ME?

This is what it all boils down to, a "what's in it for me" outlook that is very human and very natural...Well, the answers that may sway you to 'GOD Alone' and let you abandon your current faith, whatever the costs may be, are as follows...

"And if only the people of the various towns had believed and been righteous, then We would have opened for them blessings from the sky and the land; but they denied, so We took them for what they used to earn." (Quran 796)

    • Islam guarantees victory (3047, 2238-40, 47-7).

    • Islam guaranteed prosperity and abundance (796, 4130-31).

    • Islam guarantees maximum freedom for the people - freedom of religion, freedom of expression, freedom to travel, and freedom of economy (2256, 490, 1099, 1828, 8821-22).

    • Islam guarantees human rights for all the people, regardless of their race, color, creed, social status, financial situation, or political affiliation (58, 4913).

    • Islam guarantees Social justice for all.

    • Islam guarantees a political system that is based on consultation and the freedom for open expression (589-10).

    • Islam guarantees a society that upholds and maintains the highest standards of moral behavior. There will be a strong family, no alcoholism, no illicit drugs, no illegitimate pregnancies, no abortions, and practically no divorce.

    • Islam guarantees a maximum regard for people's lives and properties. Therefore, there will be no crime against the people's lives or properties.

    • Islam guarantees prevalence of love, courtesy, peace, and mutual respect among the people, and between this nation and other world communities (3110, 608-9).

    • Islam guarantees environmental protection as a result of deterring pollution through conservation and prohibition of wasteful practices (3041).

If you are convinced that a dignified, prosperous, righteous, logical, and practical way of life is your desire, then Islam is for you. You can begin to change your life immediately by putting-aside all that you have been raised to believe in and objectively taking a fresh-start by reading-up on the topics we discussed and many more in the words of GOD in His Book, and discover for yourself with no prejudice or interference.

"GOD does not change what is in a people unless they themselves decide to change. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient." (Quran 853)
