I feel lost between a secular-modernist vs traditional-sunnah debate. I can not relate to neither side. Been reading Quran translations for about 5 years now and learning Arabic for more profound understanding.

If you believe what you do is correct and approved by Allah, you have to stand for it. You have to trust Allah and ask for his help. Even if all mankind joins forces, they are nothing compared to Allah. Quran has stories of prophets fighting against mainstream behaviour. For everything good, there is a price to be paid.

For things that surpass your power just accept them the way they are and ask for forgiveness from Allah for your mistakes. Everyone is different and everyone is responsible for themselves in the end.

You can try to find friends who think and feel like you. But it is not that easy. Be patient.
