Words of the BOOKSalam,
I am French and I wanted to share with you a summary of my research. What do you think ?
-
The qibla does not seem to correspond to a direction of Salat ... I rather have the impression that this corresponds to a moral direction, the best being the Direction of God inscribed in the Book! (see verses 2.120 / 2.145 / 2.159)
-
Sujud should rather be translated Acquiescement = to listen + to be quiet + not to shout to lies (see verses 84.21 to 22 and 7.204) and not to prostration as traditionally translated.
-
Ir'ka would correspond to resignation to God Alone, and not inclination during Salat
-
Salat would be the action of turning to God and appreciating His Signs, and it is permanent (when we look carefully at a flower or an ant for example, one carries out a "Salat" and one "sujud" a Sign of God = Creation of God). Moments of "Sujud" of the Signs of the Book (verses) are imposed to never forget God (morning and evening, and night if we can do without sleep ...)
-
Zakat would be the act of turning away from Shaytan (see verse 24.21). It is Shaytan who makes us unclean, and turning away from it helps to maintain its purity ...
Thus, we better understand the link between Salat and Zakat (Turn to God and Turn away from Shaytan). Salat and Zakat thus allow to be resigned to God Alone (Ir'ka)
-
Masjid is a place where a qibla is broadcast (a house can play this role too - see verse 10.87). A masjid is not necessarily a place to frequent ... In general, we should not frequent people / places that do not point us to God Alone.
-
Masjid Al Haram would be the Masjid where the Book has been revealed since Abraham. It was forbidden to those who wanted to destroy it, hence the adjective "Al Haram". We must turn to this Masjid, meaning to feed on what has been revealed ... and not to turn to it during the Salat of the Book ...
To summarize my overall thinking, I would say
- To be CLOSE TO GOD, one must be PUR (= to be close to Truth + Happy + Sage + Good)
- To be PUR, one must be STRONG (= Thoughtful + Patient)
- To be STRONG, it is necessary TO RESIGN TO GOD ALONE (= IR'KA)
- TO RESIGN TO GOD ALONE, it is necessary TO DISRUPT THE SHAYTAN (= ZAKAT)
- TO DISTRUDE THE SHAYTAN, it is necessary to TURN TOWARDS GOD (= SALAT) & ACQUIESCER ITS SIGNS (= SUJUD)
The Salat of the Signs of the Book, commanded by God, comes to awaken a much wider Salat ...
example since I regularly read the Book, I can not see the clouds move and the birds fly in the same way, I can not help but think that all this is the creation of God, of sujud somehow ...
And the more we remember God, the better our salat, and one by one, the closer we get to God inch'Allah.Salat thus awakens the senses of the human, hence its importance!
Thank you for your attention
God Alone Knows -
