What I always say is if you can't find a Quran alone muslim partner find an open minded person and teach them about your faith. You never know, they might accept. Worked for me.

In my Sunni days, I remember reading a hadith where some lady, Fatima or someone, saw the dajjal or something then the prophet said that the day of judgement is near. So yeah I agree with loxbox13. It's a fear tactic that has been used for so long to keep people in line. That's not say that it isn't the end of times. I dunno.

I had a dream a week or 2 ago... I saw the Prophet(pbuh) in my dream. I couldn't see any detail in his face and he seemed extremely distant though he was standing right next to me but I undeniably saw the Prophet Muhammad in my dream and no one can convince me otherwise....

I thought I could ignore the Sunnah and still walk the right path but I was wrong.

Over 'a week or 2 ago' you were already following hadiths and not 'ignoring the Sunnah', as I can see from your previous posts.

This sounds like one of those Jesus dreams. Makes me wonder who is really creating these dreams.

No one is concealing anything. There are no verses prohibiting homosexuality. I challenge you to find me a clear case to back up your claim. The Quran mentions zina, fahisha and transgression. The last two are at times subjective concepts. So whether homosexuality is a fahisha is subjective.

There are verses that tell men to marry women + verses that tell men and women to not have sex except with their partners. Since men can't marry men then they can't have sex with them.

Thanks for sharing, Shinobitora. Sad story '( but it's great that you have a loving family now. I totally agree with you. There probably wouldn't be any children with no families if every able person/ couple adopted. I want to adopt one day, God willing. It's such a wonderful thing to give a loving home to a child who doesn't have one.

I'm not a morning person so I find it hard to focus. I like to read at night as I can focus better and take it all in.
So I don't understand why we are told to do the reading at dawn when not all people are the same; some focus better in the morning and some concentrate better at night.

^hmm that's very interesting considering the root word 3ein-lam-meem, which means know/ be aware of. Either it refers to these creations as signs that make people 'know' or 'be aware' of God, as described on the PRL site, or it could refer to the creations as those who have awareness/ are conscious.
