God couldn't care less if you fast or not and such as this, He/She couldn't care less if you smoke or not. Be good and kind to yourself and remember that the straight path is an easy path and that God Loves you unconditonally.

God does not want you to suffer and couldn't care less how many days you fast. We can't even confirm that shahar means month! Fasting is a universal practise ordained upon all the scriptures. God sent messengers to all Nations (as the Quran says).
If you can fast easily then do so, otherwise just give to the poor (as the quran says) and do not worry about anything. God Loves you.

God Loves you so much and wanted to purify your body and hence the fasting days and months; they have nothing to do with religon. God ordained these to all scriptures and messages globally so that you coud get rid of toxins in your body. You don't have to do it. As the "quran" itself says you either do it, or just feed the poor.
If you count your blessings you will never finish.

If you ask Allah for anything He will test you. You need to hold steadfast and faithful.
Then when you least expect it, Allah will show you His signs and mercy. Alhamdu Lillah.
Everything comes in a Meqdar (measurement).
Allah does the Qadar (measurement) - which is pre-ordained, pre-destines and then He sends His revelations and signs slowly, piece by piece, bit by bit. Nothing happens instantly.
Qaddara fa hada (He measured an amount of guidance, which is pre-destined, pre-ordained) and gave it.
Allah created the heavens and the earth in 6 days (not suddenly all at once in a hurry).
Being in a hurry is a trait of the devil and those who love this world (al3ajila) which means the hurried one.

Alkitab is everything that is pre-ordained by Allah. (Kutiba 3alaykum).
The Quran mentions "Ahl Al-kitab" people/family of the book.
Those are obviously people following a system or guidance from Allah, as the Quran also mentions that to every community/peoples We sent a Messenger.
So kitab is any pre-ordained, pre-written system which is in place. The system includes guidance for mankind doing good and forbidding evil.
Al-Quran literally means "the reading".
When you read the book of Allah remember to see whether it says hatha Al-Quran (specifically THIS Quran), or just Quran (readings).
Also remember to see if it says hatha al-kitab (specifically THIS piece of writing/book/pre-ordained system) or just kitab.
While doing this, remember what Islam (submission) to Allah really is, and the importance of Abraham's (pbuh) coventant with Allah in regards to this, as he is the one who built the foundation.
Mohammad (pbuh) as per the Quran, was nothing but a bearer of good news for good people, and a warner to the evil doers.
So to take his example, is doing exactly what is mentioned above.

I was a bit suprised, or actually very, or even shocked, totally disapointed that who first answered me in Islam, seemed to be like the people with the lowest grades when I went to highschool. There was no sense. Maybe I'm just in a poor location here. There was no sense, people seemed to be more occupied with what race they were, rather than Islam, and Satan seemed to be just a story nobody believed in. And homophilia seemed to be widely accepted.

I'm not fond of this quoting the Quran to say the Quran is flawless and perfect. It's circular reasoning. A true judgement of the meaning and nature of the Quran must be purpose orientated and external to its pages.
The Quran is flawless and perfect. It is us humans and our nafs (souls) that are not.
Oh... and by the way.. there is no beating women in the Quran. It doesn't make sense in context. Cross-reference verses about marital problems and the word "daraba" it's always about Separate/Set Forth. I.e. a break away.
That's what makes a countable period of time and a time to reconcile, get arbitrators etc.
You need to wake up a bit.

First of all consider that the sentence starts by talking about Yatama, it's not about women. (forget about Rashad's translation of mothers I don't know how he got that)
I have different thoughts on this verse as I do not think that Yateem are orphans but rather people that are somehow incomplete and going through a stage in order to reach completion. Think about the word Yateem (Noun) --> a status of being a Y-T-M
Root word mentioned in following verses
Yatim/ tamma (verb) = to complete/finalize something. The thing that I can think of that hasn't been finalised is their adulthood. I.e. People that are teenagers. They're in a dangerous age and need to be looked after. There may be other people in a state of being a Y-T-M too, they need some sort of closure, completion, growth etc.
We are advised not to get close to money of the Yateem until they reach their strength (males and females). This must mean to hold the money for them until they are on their feet/ fully mature.
If you can't be fair to these Y-T-M people (financially inequitable? can't care for them? look at them sexually? take their money, mistreat them unintentionally? etc. etc.)
Then you Ankihoo or Unkihoo dual , three or four of the WOMEN (the female ones of them). ----> here the verse shifts from yatama to specifically about the Nisaa of them.
But if you fear you will be unjust then just one or whatever you already have, that is to prevent you from being high.
Because of the characters on the letters that were added later we wont know if it is Ankihoo (marry) or Unkihoo (marry off).
For men to have more than one woman is definitely allowed in certain situations/circumstances and we know it has been done historically.

But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.
So the Quran is this way for a reason. I.e. to distinguish true believers from those who have a disease in their hearts.
If you went back to prophet's days now and you heard the way they communicated and understood things you will faint. The language has changed so much.
Example about two generations ago the word "awful" used to mean something good. Something full of "awe". It was a positive word meaning inspiring awe or admiration or wonder.
Now however ironically it means the complete opposite. Awful = extremely bad, unpleasant, ugly, displeasing.
There are many examples of such. I'm a linguistics major myself and I advise that the Quran be understood thematically (by topic and Allah's logical advice to everything). You cannot necessarily trust dictionaries.
E.g. As mentioned in previous posts before the word "dharaba" in the Quran. Nowhere does it mean "to hit" but rather to put forth or separate or put out something/break up or away from something.
The easier way to understand the Quran though in this issue (hitting women) is to see other verses. I.e. Whenever Allah talks about relationship problems He mentions Separation/break period, appointing arbitrator from his family and one from hers etc.
So the Quran is easy to understand brothers and sisters.

A man cannot hold or keep a woman against her will (419). He cannot oppress her! this is not what marriage is (mawadda and rahma)
If man doesn't comply and is a non believer to the above and oppresses the woman which is not Quranic then apply 6010.
This means that after the woman's edda (countable) she can move on. But it also puts responsibility on believing men as per 6010 to take care of women in society who are in such situations.

If the point of headcover is to cover up from men, then what would that have to do with what you do for Allah when you worship? He knows you inside out anyway, so as long as you are dressed modestly. It's not like male messengers are looking down on you and we're not praying for them.
Allah has already specified advice for dress code for women in the Quran in case you are worried.

Are these SET times as mentioned in the Quran Alone. Always definate sunrise and sunset times (when the birds really go off!) = 2 compulsory contact/praising times. Because remember Tasbeeh is mentioned for sunrise and sunset too and birds are given as example in the Quran.
