I can say that somehow you are right, Quran is the guidance and we can not just reject the hadith all-over. I believe that some of them (maybe majority) are right. I just haven't studied them. I'm still in the process of learning arabic. I've learned a bit in the highschool, but my understanding was too bad (. My english is even much better even if it's not my native language ???.

Examinations, dissection and comprehension are needed before we can judge something. It's part of the scientific process.

hmmm.., a little intriguing. I've heard the word "hanif" for sometimes. It's used to refer to "the nature of human of being in the good path, doing the right thing". If someone knows about this, please enlighten me. So far, all I can understand is we have been given heart by God to judge between the good and the evil thing every time in our lives. Maybe this is why there's the word "hanif".

My point is, "hanif" is a little contradictive with what has been described. So, please enlighten me )

Just like you do, I'm moslem by birth. And yeah, we have a little commonality of having parents with similar approach when it comes to religion. However, that doesn't mean we have to follow all of their words in our search for the truth. To my opinion, it's even might be wrong to do so. You don't have to be afraid of anything so long as you've done your best and follow your heart. Mind you, that we've been given a not so clear guide within ourself, our heart. Just follow what it says, of course judge it with your logic too whenever it makes you doubt about something. In my opinion, we would only obtain the so-called "peace" when our logic/mind, our heart, and what we do are leading to the same direction. We don't need to be afraid. My experiences have taught me that the more you struggle you find the truth in Islam, the more you will feel "peace" and close to God, no matter how hard the problem you face. Moreover, oddly enough, those "peace" comes when I face ever stronger obstacles. I don't know why.

to my understanding, quran is provided as a guidance AND my own interpretation on learnin it is challenge the contents of it in every aspect until you will finally found what you want. At some points, I think we are just ordinary human and found that the contents of quran is the truth. The point is, don't just trust it blindly. We have to use our potential to it's limit, i.e. use your brain, your heart, compassion ,etc. That's why there are lot's of verses in the quran refers to "knowledgeable person will gain more from it". Most moslems use the quran as the starting point, including me, but I don't worship it. It's just plainly better to have things for comparisons when you face a problem and look for solutions during your life time, doesn't it?

Due to the advance in technology, in the future moon and mars would probably occupied by human. How one would conduct shalat (prayer) in such a place. Of course it'll not be practical to build a custom building with near 360 degrees rotation and place a gyroscope for near-exact pointing to Ka'bah. Any ideas? What is the minimum wage in the European Union? Particularly, in Italy. I don't live near EU . I'm offered an outsourcing job from Italy. However, the company is asking me about the salary that I expect. Thus, I need to know the minimum wage as a reference. May sound individual request though. Sorry, for that
