Please let me make it clear that I have no question about your sincerity and all the hard work you are doing for the sake of Allah. May Allah give you reward Insha'Allah.

There are many examples, but I'm not sure how I can explain them to you if for you, the way you understand English is the right way. Here I am hoping that others may help too if they feel the same as I do.

My feedback is not based on this one thread, but numerous posts and writings that you have made.

For example, some individuals on this forum tried to explain to you in the following thread the difficulty they had with your writing.

However, it seemed that you just couldn't accept that 'Galaxy of messengers' wasn't a phrase that English speaking people would use in that context.

We do not seclude a single one in the Galaxy of Messengers.

So what are we meant to do brother Mazhar? Some of us can only show you, but you have to be willing to accept it before you can change your style.

This writing style is awkward at best and difficult to comprehend for an English speaker. Cognitive references are not made in this way. Can you see?

If this is how you communicate generally, can you see the difficulty with how one can trust your English translations of the Quran where nuances are so key to getting the right message across?

I have been reading and studying your posts for a very long time including what you share on your website http//haqeeqat.org.pk

I have some sincere feedback for you which I hope you will consider with broad shoulders.

I cannot comment on the proficiency of your Arabic, but what I do strongly believe is that for a translator to be credible and successful, they have to be proficient in not only the language they are translating from but also the language they are translating to. This is extremely important.

I have found the proficiency of your English extremely poor. Your English grammar appears to be very weak. You make use of the most inappropriate English words in certain contexts which make your sentences at times unintelligible. You seem to have little comprehension of the English words you make use of almost indicating at times that you are plucking words out of an English dictionary without understanding how the words are actually used when spoken.

At times your explanations in English are extremely labored and convoluted. Your grasp of the English language at times is left extremely wanting.

The problem for me is that if I have no confidence in your English, how can I have any confidence in your Arabic? How do I know really know that your grasp of Arabic syntax is not just as poor?

It has taken me a long time to voice my concerns about your work so openly on this forum, but I have done so because I think it is important to share.

Peace Mirjumanur - Thanks for the link. I think it is an honest effort. To be fair to the author of the site, he does seem to recognise that there is room for discussion and ain't a case of my way or the highway type presentation.

I noted the opening sentence on the top of the diagram.

"The illustration below attempts to best capture the inheritance directives in the Quran. It is left for the reader to consult the verses mentioned and scrutinise them with a view to understand the topic deeply. The illustration merely intends to provide an overview and a cue for further study"

Inheritance is a really important and really involved topic. I reckon it always has been. I look forward to it being discussed here and agree with Noon waalqalami that it should be considered as a sticky! I'd like to work out my own inheritance properly according to the Quran! Peace
