Since drinking alcohol was in the discussion...just wanna ask if the interpretation of the following ayat which talked about 'wine' does not contain alcohol ?

.And from the fruits of the palm trees and the grapes you make wine and a good provision. In that is a sign for a people who comprehend.

.Is the example of Paradise; that the righteous have been promised with rivers of pure water, and rivers of milk whose taste does not change, and rivers of wine that are delicious for the drinkers, and rivers of strained honey, and for them in it are all kinds of fruits, and a forgiveness from their Lord; like that of those who abide in the Fire, and are given to drink boiling water that cuts-up their intestines?

Thanks...I am a bro just like you...yes I fully agree and hoping to have that peaceful journey to explore GOD and his message...since we all have to learn and respect for each other in our believe right (no matter what you are)...May God show us All the right way.

I am new?just registered!

I would like to share my story , why I would like to learn more about ?Quran Alone? or ?GOD Alone?.

I came from a country with the number 1 muslim population, I was raise in a Sunni Muslim family however I found difficulties to accept and understand about the religion my family has taught me (especially when it came to Arabic reading, Rituals and Hadith that we must follow, not to mention prayer that we must say everytime we do this or that and ?lecture? favourite topic if not Hell then Aqidah.etc?) because I always asked myself if there is a GOD howcome it is so difficult to ?pleased? Him or why is it difficult be a ?good person? (according to their teaching).

Therefore I was then was not much a religious person?then one day it started around 2 years ago when I was brwosing the internet? I found the ?Submission.org? website?it talks about the 19 code as well other related topic to Islam (submission)? as for me it ?klik?..this is what I?ve been looking for! Since its make sense to me! (believe in ?One God Alone?) . Next I came to 19.org and finally to Free-Minds.

I read a lot articles from Dr.Rashad Khalifa, Edip Yuksel, Arnold Yasin, Dr.Ayman and Layth (may GOD bless them all for their contribution)? it was very inspiring and it open my eyes?I was so Happy that Finally I can accept and understand what ?Islam? was all about?and above all it is making sense! the Quran is for all the people who wish to learn (not necessarily in Arabic!) and GOD is the Most Gracious & Mercifull. I read Quran translation by Dr.Khalifa as well as the Message.

Now, I am still a Beginner and would like to learn more about ?GOD Alone? and ?Quran Alone??God Willing.
