Since the last word in the sentence is the pronoun, if it is not augmented with a Sukoon, the next word beginning with Noon would be joined with it in speech rendering the next Noon of Naar with shedda-double Noon; and the listener will get confused as to what is stated because then the following word will be heard and processed by auditory faculty as definite noun.
