Which book cover is better?

Dear friends

For the new edition of Manifesto for Islamic Reform, I received three samples from my designer. I need your help to choose the best among them. They are numbered as 001, 002, and 003. If you wish you may describe the cover you prefer the most.

Out of curiousity, when do you plan on publishing/releasing this book? The reason I ask is, a project is near completion on answering common misconceptions about Islam, mainly from a non-Muslim perspective. It is currently in its proofreading of 1st draft phase. I think the content could be very valuable in this book.

reform_003ikili.jpg is the best, IMO. Looks the most serious. I would most likely pick up a book with this design and peruse through it.

reform_001ikili.jpg is too 'tabliody'. I may look at the cover, but would put it down because I would consider it too trashy (judging a book by it's cover etc!) and the other one is in between.

100% the third one with green dots.

First dosn't look formal.
Second one Is there a purpose in the arrow? Even if there is, the colours and overall shape of the third cover looks more attractive to me.

The 3rd is the only that looks serious, the fonts, the colours etc. The others have "cult" written all over them.
Maybe it's too late, but instead of the green bolb a picture of an old oil lamp would be better.

The pictures show a book called "Manifesto for Islamic Reform", which I assume is this version found online or an updated version of it.

What is the book "Critical Thinkers for Islamic Reform"? And what is this annual periodical you refer to? Link?

Thus, I decided to use the third one, the matrix on the black bacground. I might change the color of the light, though. Yes, Wakas, it is the same as the Manifesto published at www.islamicreform.org

As for the Critical Thinkers... It contains 30+ articles by 30+ authors. It is almost ready to be available at www.brainbowpress.com, amazan.com, etc., and bookstores.

Very good choice. Out of the three, the third one (with the dots) was definately the best choice.

To add to all the comments, the second one is actually a male symbol and thus can be misunderstood as biased towards males.

I would go with the third choice too with the change in colors.
