Thank you all for your kind words and incite. I have already learned a lot from this forum and have looked at things in a new light. I know the Quran is complete, perfect and fully detailed. May God protect us all from false religions teachings.

The best of greetings to you, Dotty,

        Welcome aboard! sun

I'm also from the midwestern U.S.--originally. We're all learning together, and we learn by sharing our understanding with each other. Knowing Arabic or not is not a shortcoming--I believe we all have insight --some in one area, and others in other areas. So, please share what's on your mind whenever you get the inkling to. I'm sure you'll find someone who shares your point of view here!

God bless both you and your husband.

Thank you all. I read so much more than I post here. I have read some very insightful posts and I am happy to have found many people who share the same views as myself.

God bless all who deserve His blessings.

          Peace.

So I read the Quran like a bag of potato chips. Once I started I couldn't put it down. I completed it in about 2 weeks.

Oh my, 2 weeks to finish a bag of potato chips!

Well actually, I don't eat potato chips very often, but I like hot/spicy ones the best... as long as I have a gallon of water to wash it down, lol. When I was living in Pakistan I got used to the hot/spicy food, but since I came back to america I don't eat it much anymore.

                  God bless,

                  dotty

I lived in Lahore, for nearly a year and a half, back in 2003/2004. I also visited Islamabad 4 times. It is a very clean city. I have also been to Murree. It reminded me of the northern states because of all the pine trees.

                      peace,

                      dotty
