This Reverend Ann Holmes Redding is definitely a Muslim because she does not believe Jesus is God.

If you read closely you can see some error in her beleifs,

Muslim merely means 'One who submits (To God)'. Until the 8th century noone probably labelled himself as a Muslim. I personally have begun to label myself a 'Quranist'. I dont want to label myself 'Muslim' because I dont know if I have submitted to God enough. It is like when you go around and call yourself 'Genius' while actually you are not that smart.

"Son of ...." is actually a hebrew idiom. There are places in the Torah where evil people were referred to as "sons of belial", which likely referred to a demon or pagan god. In the text calling someone a "son of belial", is it saying that they were fathered by a demon? Of course not. It is saying that they were behaving in a way that you would expect that demon to behave. So also, when Jesus is called the son of God, it does not mean that he was begotten in any sense similar to the way that humans are concieved. It simply means that God bestowed upon him the grace to act in a manner that best represented the character of God. Being "begotten" of God in the Hebrew sense also refers to one's coronation as king. Psalm 2 was a coronation psalm for kind David, and it contains the line, "You are my son, this day have I begotten you." It means he was anointed to act as God's representative. What the Quran does is correct a skewing of the biblical texts that happened when pagans became Christians and brought with them crazy notions of gods being able to father children like what one finds in the greek myths. It is in this sense (i.e. a corrective one) that "Allah does not beget, nor is he begotten" needs to be understood. But I do not think it negates the hebrew idioms applied to Jesus, and in my opinion it is possible to call Jesus the son of God in its proper context and with the right understanding without joining partners with Allah.
As far as whether or not someone can be both Christian and Muslim? I would think that the best practice of Islam and Christianity is really the same thing - to believe in only one God, to do good works, and to set regular times for prayer.

I don't remember what sense she thought it was, but the way I see it is that when someone creates something, they usually think of it as their child.

I know, I have as well, it never seemed to make sense to me after hearing the "How could God have children without a wife?" question. To find out, Mormons believe God has a wife. God just loves her so much that he didn't mention her so man wouldn't take her name in vain. (Veil?)

Son Of God is actually a translation from "BEN ELOHYM", the hebrew word "BEN" has a plural form; "BENEY".
The word "BENEY" is actually conveys the same meanings as "BANI" in Arabic.BENEY YISREEL / BANI ISRAIL usually translated as PEOPLE OF ISRAIL.
BENEY ELOHYM (Childrens Of God) is actually mean "GOD's PEOPLE" / "Godly People".Thus
BEN ELOHYM (Son Of God) is actually means "GOD'S MAN"
In the Bible, even David and Solomon are also titled as "BEN ELOHYM" (Son Of God) which means; they are "GOD's MAN".This is a good example of how mis-translation can cause great mis-understanding.
