A theocracy is a religious government. The United Kingdom isn't really a kingdom, it's a democracy. The Queen has no power. In Iran, it's the Imams who make the laws based on religion (sharia), that is a democracy.I was told by my Iranian friend that if you're gay, they throw you off a mountain. Well, they leave the jews alone but if you're a muslim and gay, you're dead.

I dont think dhimmitude exist anymore today. In the past it varied from place to place depending on the rulers and the political condition.

I mean a full blown dhimmitude system where non-Muslim's have to pay higher taxes and are given an inferior status, can someone give me a few past examples of them?

I know how the Jews in Iran are treated. But I mean non-Muslim's in general, I was on another forum where an Iranian Christian said that he wanted to donate money to the far right in Israel (those freaks that openly declare that they want a genocide of the Palestinian people) because he hates Muslims because they breed like rabbits. I was just curios to see how the average non-Muslim in Iran is treated.
@ Yusha, although Zionism was originally a secular ideology nearly half of the worlds Orthodox Jews support Zionist Israel. Who cares about what the Jews support, our main problem is the American Evangelical nut jobs that fund them, without them Zionism would not be a serious problem.
