?Why am I not surprised that when you are looking for an analogy of a piece of feminine clothing you come up with the cover of a gutter?

My excuses, IQO, seems that I got the "onlys" mixed up. So that one was not for you.

My excuses Al-Quran only. I take the surprise particularly regarding you personally, although in general it happens many time that fruedian slips of this kind show what people think really. Since I don't know you that much to be suprised or not, my excuses. Now, freudian slips or not, you argument doesn't cut. There is no command to cover the head in the Qur'an, no matter how many kinds of plain covers, head covers or manhole covers you make appear in front of the spectator.

          Salaam

ARE YOU SO 100% SURE THAT KHIMAAR IN 2431 DOES NOT MEAN HEADSCARF, AND THAT FOR BELIEVING WOMEN TO SPREAD IT OVER THEIR CHEST AREA MEANS THAT THEY KEEP IT ON THEIR HEAD AND DO THAT WITH IT ON THEIR HEAD; THAT YOU DON'T FEAR ALLAH FOR SAYING THAT IT DOESN'T EXIST AT ALL IN AL-QURAN? & & & & &

Doesn't matter what I wear or don't wear, what matters is that whatever I wear I am under no command, nor any person is, to cover the head for its own sake. I may use a hat for the sun, when there is sun, but not to cover the head for the sake of some persons who happen to invent something that does not exist in the truthful and clear Qur'an.

                  Salaam, dear brother

If we take your logic that there is no comman in the Quran to "cover the head",so it is not necessary to cover the head.
Can you show my any clear command of the Al-Quran to cover the body except for genital and boob s?
So according to your logic The Al-Quran allows a woman to be completely naked except to cover genitals and breasts.
Congratulations to Porn stars for this "Quranic certificate'

I really think that khimar could be a seemless fabric to wrap around your chest, your body. very common in Africa and also in Asia in form of sarongs.

Of course "same certificate" will work for men also.

                                  Peace,

I see you lack a sense of humor. So let me help you. Spreading hot iron over your chest area would burn. So if a "khimaar" is anything that covers, then that could be included by definition. So it is being sarcastic to prove that for "khimaar" to be just "anything that covers", is not a realistic definition of the term in the context in which it is used in Al Quran. duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. !

Let me guess, you are also of the opinion that all the women were running around naked back then also? o Have you people that think this ever thought about the ayaat dealing with jilbaab and other clothing? What about the ones that talk about your times of undress? How can you have times of undress if you are already naked? ??? brickwall I just wanted to do that! ignore

Please, wise up and get off this ride that "khimaar" means a table cloth or any type of cover that you want it to mean including bra. By the way, how do you spread a bra over your chest area? & rotfl

                                  As Salaamu Alaikum, peace

I just say Oh My God!!!!!!

I really pity people who try to be ironic when in matter of fact they are only playing with words.

God never runs out of words and He didn't put a head cover fabric in Quran because then he will name it something with head or hair so people would not mistakenly get it wrong.

I wonder really if it was you males who were the ones who was suposed to wear a khimar on your head, if you were so happy to defend it voodoo

I see no commands of headcovering so ever in Quran and really no meaning for God to give one either.

To dress modest and act modest is a rather better way for all to take, both males and females.

                                    Maria

                                      SwedenMajidah,

Aren't you the one that doesn't believe in Al Quran as divine scripture from Allah anyway and you follow and believe in the Law of Attraction? hmm

                                      Enough said dear. jedi

                                      Salaam, peace

I just say Oh My God!!!!!!

I really pity people who try to be ironic when in matter of fact they are only playing with words.

God never runs out of words and He didn't put a head cover fabric in Quran because then he will name it something with head or hair so people would not mistakenly get it wrong.

I wonder really if it was you males who were the ones who was suposed to wear a khimar on your head, if you were so happy to defend it voodoo

I see no commands of headcovering so ever in Quran and really no meaning for God to give one either.

To dress modest and act modest is a rather better way for all to take, both males and females.

                                      Maria
