i asked my mother. she was up front and respect her for the honesty. she said i was her mistake..
yea people do mistakes, they get unwanted syndroms like myself. i never lost the idea that i am born against my will. if i had the choice i'd want to be a wild cat... that is just my perspective since i am human and i don't know what a wild cat would want to be. i am not sure if that request is going to be accepted by Allah..why not make a soul then ask it, choose a body to fit in whether a human or an animal or a plant or jinn etc.. in the same keep the balance between each species...

Allah says in 41 that He created countless men and woman. I think we can certainly count the number that are alive today, although obviously not throughout all time.
I personally don't think overpopulation is the problem, I think that is what the enemy of mankind wants us to think and gives seemingly logical reasons for it.
I think our inability to properly use space and resources are the reason that over population seems to be a problem. The earth is HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE with much more space and resources that we haven't even uncovered or discovered yet. Once we learn to live in peace and harmony and to preserve the planet, we will find that this earth can accomodate billions if not trillions of more humans on it, Allah willing.

I pray this doesn't happen. It's hard enough as it is to find a little piece of nature that is devoid of human sound and garbage and mayhem. Very, very few civilizations know how to live in harmony with nature.

I truly understand what you are saying here. The problem to me is that we already have over 6 billion people on earth. Depopulation is not an option..that would mean killing people intentionally. Restricting the birth of kids is unislamic to me because it oppresses the most basic of human nature with a quota. We couldn't do it even if we wanted to, but even if we could, at that rate, we will still double, triple, quadruple and continue to grow in population over the next few hundred years or less. So the real only option is for our species to learn to live on earth without destroying it's natural resources. We have the technology to do this, we just need the governments of the world to have the will to do it, since the people don't seem to have it as a whole.
Either way, we are reaching a crossroads in our lives on earth. We will either learn to respect, preserve and nuture our earth; or we will be removed from it in mass numbers as someone else mentioned earlier.

I do not think God needs any help with population control via any form. Don't you notice all the natural disasters and deaths of so many humans at once? Perhaps, this is a form of population control entertwined with survival of the fittest (fittest in belief).

IQO...you mentioned here that it is necessary for all mankind to come together and then said let's pray that happens. I refuse to pray for anyone who is not a believer instructed per quran (pray for the believers only), and certainly all mankind are not beleivers, how do you justify this blatent disregard for the quranic commandment? Why is it that you said ONLY SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CAN LEAD THE WAY THROUGH UNITY AND MUTUAL CARE, CONCERN AND RESPECT? Shouldn't it be that only God can lead the way via any form he chooses if that be science or technology or whatnot....
Why do you mention Allah Willing? Why not say God Willing or InShaAllah? Why combine two different languages? Where is the logic in that?
