O prophet, we made lawful for you your wives to whom you have paid their due dowry, or what you already have, as granted to you by GOD. Also lawful for you in marriage are the daughters of your father's brothers, the daughters of your father's sisters, the daughters of your mother's brothers, the daughters of your mother's sisters, who have emigrated with you. Also, if a believing woman gave herself to the prophet - by forfeiting the dowry - the prophet may marry her without a dowry, if he so wishes. However, her forfeiting of the dowry applies only to the prophet, and not to the other believers. We have already decreed their rights in regard to their spouses or what they already have. This is to spare you any embarrassment. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
You may gently shun any one of them, and you may bring closer to you any one of them. If you reconcile with any one you had estranged, you commit no error. In this way, they will be pleased, will have no grief, and will be content with what you equitably offer to all of them. GOD knows what is in your hearts. GOD is Omniscient, Clement.
Beyond the categories described to you, you are enjoined from marrying any other women, nor can you substitute a new wife (from the prohibited categories), no matter how much you admire their beauty. You must be content with those already made lawful to you. GOD is watchful over all things.

The end of verse 3350 - refering to the Prophet - "so that strain/blame/sin not be on you" - matches with verse 3355 - "No offense/guilt/sin (is) on them" - if you translate it as husband (being the Prophet, husband of his wives), not if you translate it as possessed people.

why does everyone try and shove the meaning of this phrase under the carpet. ask yourselves, are you rightly guided?
clearly there is another category of women lawful to men aside from those with whom there is a nikah.
the only plausible reason why this obvious conclusion is being ignored is western pagan brainwashing.

Allah created Adam and Eve as two parts of the same whole. There are no such things as 'categories of women', it is an innovation, the product of a inhumane society.

It's the other way round. The default position should be that those who want to say a thing exists should have the burden of proof. You say two "types" of women exist. Your only 'evidence' is this phrase, 'right hands possess'. I say that's not what it means, and it actually refers to husbands, who otherwise have no place in the Quran. We know husbands are real. I think husbands are far more real than this imaginary category of women who fundies want as their sex slaves.
Incidentally, understanding this to mean husband also takes away the automatic right of men to divorce their wives - 2433 "And if any of your husbands ask for a deed in writing (to divorce), give them such a deed if ye know any good in them yea, give them something yourselves out of the means which Allah has given to you." Which means, if a woman deems her husband to have no good in him, she can refuse to grant him a divorce.

I think (mulkul yameen) is a kind of marriage where at least one of the couple is unable to have sex. This is the only difference between it and a complete marriage. It's the only marriage where family (of the one who can have sex but is waving their right) is asked for permission (425). This verse is a proof that MMA is neither a slave nor a war captive.
And the MMA is each of them they are both mulku yameen the other.
I hope others scan the word MMA in the qur'aan and see if there's a verse where this understanding does not fit, or another fits better.Maybe its a contractual arrangement like Katb Al Kitab Sunnis do. The official marriage is when they move in together. Like the hadith about Aisha married at 6 but the marriage was actually done years later. The first contractual arrangement could be MMA and then when they move in its Zawaj.

I dont think it means husband as it wouldn't make sense in the verse below as husband is already mentioned. This verse also shows that women can also have <b>ma malakat aymanuhunna</b>
2431 And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and keep covered their private parts, and that they should not reveal their beauty except what is apparent, and let them put forth their shawls over their cleavage. And let them not reveal their beauty except <b>to their husbands</b>, or their fathers, or fathers of their husbands, or their sons, or the sons of their husbands, or their brothers, or the sons of their brothers, or the sons of their sisters, or their women, or <b>those committed to them by oath</b>, or the male servants who are without need, or the child who has not yet understood the composition of women. The first use of husbands is referring to the original believing woman's husband. The second use, where it says 'right hands possess', is referring to the husbands of 'the women' immediately preceeding.

I don't think it is talking about showing breasts and private parts, as the list is just too big for that. It includes too many people you aren't biologically related to - like you husbands father, and husbands sons (not the woman's own, not young children). I think it is just about dressing informally, if you imagine the situation being that you are entertaining guests in your house - these other women's husbands are being accompanied by their wives, and so the situation is not one of a woman being in a room full of unaccompanied men.

Grow up Al Araf, there's a difference between reason and sorcery. And if the best Satan and all his minions can do is bin the headscarf, I'd be very unimpressed. But then we already know, Satan's power reaches far beyond independent thought, he's got millions of Muslims believing Islam is about beating wives, child marriage, and all sorts of authoritarianism and repression.
But faith in Allah protects us against all dark magic, be it real or imagined.
