Women are more independant,(e.g career, education) in the society.

I know that most of us are 'free-mind'
However I wanna know to what extent do the men here are 'supposedly' free-mind..esp concerning women.
As we all know, many women are oppressed by traditionalists..and your views to my question can have high impact on how women are regarded nowadays..
Hmm by the way, bear in my that am not feminist DGod bless everyone D
I say let our sisters do what they want as long as they do not transgress God's limits for there should be no compromise on this aspect in our lives. if they are believers, they sure know what they are doing; they would know that they will be accountable to God & to their fellow men. besides as believers, satan >D would have no jedi power over them.
what are we to do men? we should be flexible & be helpful around the house & in other aspects of our lives together (as husband & wife and/or as members of a family).
as a matter of fact, i am doing our laundry now yay
peace all. ramon.

we are not few...we are just silent...slowly breaking out of the stereotypes.
remember that all cultures have stereotypes about females & males.
the whole point is "sharing in the burden eases the life for all concerned."
may we all have a blessed life ahead...

But in this case they are a single piece and I have explained why. Are you blind yourself?
Yeah, but as usual your explanation contains nothing but your own one-sided blind perception of the world around you without any factual basis.
A survey by National Violence Against Women Organization reveals that 853,000 American men suffer from domestic violence.
http//www.batteredmen.com/Right there in your face my fact proves wrong your twisted belief that 'most men are beastly' while 'all women are innocent angels'. Women are as likely as men to commit abuse when they have the opportunity and the means.
Next time you offer an argument in a discussion please take some time to provide some facts.

Respectfully. You're right, we are too silent and we shouldn't be.
God willing, soon, one of these countries will become Islamic and people will be able to tell the difference between Islam and sunnism, between Muslims and sunnis.God bless us all.

Peace everyone,
I'm kind of late in this topic but I voted for the first one.. obviously... because I believe that Allah does not judge us on whether we are male or female so why should we not be equal? However, as some of you have said, part of the reason that women's "liberation" has not gone well is because they don't really want to be equal, they want special treatment.
Growing up in a house where I rarely saw my father because of his work, I really think that this society should get used to "stay at home" Dads, but I know that this may never happen. A father who stays at home while the mother works would be called lazy, or a scrounger because he's not "pulling his weight" even if he's cooking, cleaning and looking after the kids. But women who stay at home have their own profession- housewife- and she's praised, as long as she cooks, cleans, look after the kids AND her husband when he comes home late from the office. So what can you do?
