57:3 translation

M.M Pickthall 's translation of this particular verse in the glorious quran...
"He is the First and the Last, and the Outward and the Inward; and He is Knower of all things."
i think that is an inaccurate translation. because my understanding of the quran is that God is no in you but rather God is with you
May Allah guide us all to the clear truth....

I'm still not sure about the translation here.
Could first and last be, eternal, and the following statements, a similar use of words, to give another meaning. Possibly to do with how he knows all things.
Maybe understood with regards to verses about being The Creator, The Sustainer.Maybe.. He is the eternal, the all-controller, he has knowledge of all affairs.

please dont add the word eternal.
