There is a very good chance. They have also recently discovered that one of the small moons of Saturn contains vast amounts of water. Just our solar system my be teaming with life, and, if that is so, the universe must be also.

Respectfully.Not entirely true. We here on this forum can communicate and make friends more then people who meet in person, Thank God for that. I have met several members form this forum and spoken to some over the phone and therefore made excellent progress. Thank God.

Respectfully.Alien to us, alien is just a word we have for describing something that is unknown to us but let's view the human race from the point of view of a cat s/he lives in the world where the tall creatures give them food, shelter and occasionaly pet them. Cats believe in cleanliness, which is why they remove the rats and mice or maybe they remove them because they wanna be superior in the house.

Perhaps the so-called "Angels" is also a form of extra-terrestrial life... (those who named by 'earthling' as Gabriel, Mikhael and friends)
There's a 'story' (bluntly speaking a myth) in the bible that Jesus "ascended to heaven"?
Reading the story in the bible, it seems this Jesus guy was pulled up by some kind of a star-trekisque 'tractor beam', back to the 'mothership'.. and also the story of 'angels descended from heaven'.. (another push by the tractor beam perhaps?).2000 years ago, when some human saw 'intelligent being' descended from heaven, they will call it "Angel Sightings" / "Gods Sightings".
But now they called it "Alien Sightings". That's why they think "God" is supposedly residing in "heaven"/"sky".An intelligent creature / life outside earth is very much possible, given the following circumstances
- There are BILLIONS of Galaxies
- There are Millions of stars / stellar systems on each galaxy
- Possibly there are plenty of planets inside each of those stellar systems.
The thing is
- We can't say that there is no ET until we have explored all of the planets in all of the stellar systems in all of the galaxies.
- We can't say that there is ET until we've found an evidence of life sustaining planets with a living ET living inside it.
- For the moment the answer is UNKNOWN

Rami, I love how you make it sound as if the whole cosmological community is in some sort of uproar or something. If it is proper proof, then the current theories will be modified to make it fit. I'd like to see the other side of the arguement to the massive copy-pasta you just pulled.
