    yeah
    x / 0 = Infinity, where x is any number. It's very simple; how many times does something go into nothing? An infinite amount of times.

    JK- x / 0 equals INFINITY ALONE for any NONZERO value of x. I made a little mistake but that is irrelevant. 0 / 0 CAN EQUAL ANY NUMBER NOT JUST INFINITY. 0 / 0 = 2, 0 / 0 = 5, 0 / 0 = -10 , 0 / 0 = 0 etc are ALL CORRECT. you can check this by simply cross multiplying as you did originally in your post. itd get 2 X 0, 5 x 0, -19 x 0 and 0 x 0, all of which are zero which is on the left hand side.
    Therefore your original equation is only satisfied if you take 0 / 0 = 0 and this is possible. In other words 0 / 0 x 1 = 0 / 0 x 2 ONLY IF we take 0 / 0 = 0. This is also the reason why whenever such a scenario occurs where zero is divided by zero we have to determine the result of the equation by looking at other factors. In this case 1 not being 2 BY DEFINITION. You can't deduce anything from 0 / 0 and you can't just select any value of it at random and expect that to satisfy any particular equation. You can think of 0 / 0 being a variable x whose VALUE HAS NOT YET BEEN SET/FOUND and you need to find it by solving/looking at the equation. Thus your above equation is the same as x X 1 = x X 2 or 1x = 2x or x = 2x. Can we cancel out x and say 1=2 here? No we can't. But by looking at the equation we can derive the value of x which has to be zero for it to be satisfied. GOD Bless!

            Actually, it creates infinity. For example, it is believed that there was a singularity before the Big Bang occured. According to the theory, the volume was zero and the density therefore was infinite.

                Yes it is. Infninity can be looked at in at least two ways. One is as a value, and another is a description for a set of numbers.

Therefore, the singularity turned into the expansion of time and space, the creation of time and space. The singularity was not in this universe since it didn't exist yet. It existed free of space and therefore had zero volume.

                      d=m/v

                      d=m/0, 0=volume of the singularity

                      d=infinite

                      That's why scientists say at the beginning, the universe was infinitely hot and infinitely dense.

                        Not on your calculator but in reality, yes you can.

                        It equals infinity.

                        However, that 1=2 thing I showed does not work of course.

                                Yes there is. If something does not exist inside of space-such as the singularity-then it has no volume since space is needed for volume since volume is based off of space.

                                    Volume describes three-dimensional space, since v= length X width X height.

                                    If there is no space, then there can be no volume, hence the volume is zero since it does not exist.

                                          The volume is zero when the volume is zero and space exists,

                                          when space does not exist, volume does not exist as a concept, leave alone with a determinable volume.
