I m living in Abu Dhabi and it is not a Christian/other dominated country yay

I wonder how God-alone Muslims get on in countries like Iran etc. where I'm sure it would not be accepted well by governments. I would imagine Christian or others would be more accepting. I may well be wrong though which is why I asked the question.

There have been reports of a few God-Alone Muslims being brought to the police in Egypt. I don't know of actual statistics. Also, i think people in stricter Muslim countries would be quite hesitant about admitting where they're from.
I'm glad I live in this country. Though it's a strict crazy nanny state, it does take care to keep harmony among its people who come from varied religious and cultural backgrounds. There are of course, a few that will grumble and say "kuffar" under their breaths (kuffar would mean unbeliever or non-muslim, a terrible insult basically) but they can't actually do anything unless they want to end up in jail or worse.

Its very much an internet thing. Most Quranist are seen online so I don't think that many Sunni countries are aware of them. Its when they move to the masses that there will be some form of confrontation. The internet is hard to control.
Also many Quranist are fragmented and not united making their detection even harder as many act on an individual basis.
Generally its harder for a Quranist to author books in Muslim country but the internet is far more useful. There is however a much more internet presence for English speaking Quranist than there is for other languages. Its only a matter of time. What I am optimistic about is idea wise Quranist have very appealing ideas to many people and the mood on Sunnism and Shiasm is growing negative not only among Muslims but also among many other communities.
I think the future is bright for the Quranist but so far they are not able to work together and at least in the internet there's more Chiefs than Indians.
Ideas wise I think the Quranist have done decent amount of work. More work is needed but as the movement grows and more minds enter there will be more improvement from the ideas front.
There are Quranist I know of in Malaysia, Khazakhtan and Egypt. But I believe they are growing daily through the net. The net has an enormous audience that is often undersestimated because they are invisible. But there many people who are coming across the Quranist persuasion daily through the net. You can barely type Quran in google and you will come across some Quranist article in the first page.
What Quranist do not have is a unified organization and a unified literature and some recognition of each other. But its still very early on. One thing I have realized without debating Quranist can never really know the Quran. So the internet has helped in that respective and as I said ideas wise the movement is doing pretty good compare to the sects.
For over 40 years the Sunni or Shia Islamist had no ideas, all slogans and organizations and activities. But no ideas, no debates about concepts and beliefs and vision. No exchange of ideas or research. So I think the Quranist are far more equiped when they fill the gap created by the sects.
My worry is takfirism among the Quranist. This is still a reality you see.

I hope you are right about a bright future. I would love to see them become organised and more accepted, with a larger group of God-alone Muslims and a growing group of God-alone Christians maybe the future is bright yes

We have this thing call the Maintenance of Religious Harmony Act that recently sent a Christian couple caught distributing Chick tracts to jail.

That is dreadful. o I always thought that Singapore was a quiet peaceful country, or am I living in the past?

You can walk around at night with no trouble unless you go to 'bad' neighbourhoods like maybe where the brothels are but even those are okay as long as you don't do anything stupid. Crime rate is very low because the laws are very strict, some would call draconian. Canings on the derri?re is still employed for certain sentences.
It's a "Brave New World" type of peace I guess. In a way.

From my experience, what I read etc. there are thousands in certain countries, e.g. Egypt, Pakistan, Malaysia, USA. In some so-called "Muslim/Islamic" countries, it is likely that many do not publicly air their views. It is on the rise however.
In fact, the majority of Muslims that I have spoken to in the UK are not fans of Traditional Ahadith, but do not realise the extent to which non-Quranic sources have influenced islam and its practice. Most openly acknowledge some Traditional Ahadith are nonsense.

That is a good thing, I hope more of them reject these traditional views and become God-alone Muslims, as this can only help in my quest to make Christians God-alone and bring the two together.

Respectfully.I thought that in Slovenia only my bro and i were the only ones who followed The Quran and nothing else. I still think that because Slovenia has 2,000,000 people and they are mostly Catholics and 47.000 sunnis, few of them practice Islamic diuties and even fewer practice sunnah and exercise hadith.
But none of them are dangerous or fanatics.
