Quran is a book that will and should always be in Arabic to preserve the text!

If the quran is the only book that is preserved among all the revealed books then we will be certain that there is a change in the way of God. God forgive me.
And you will not find any change in Our way.1777

The Torah is also preserved, and that's why every Hebrew manuscript of the Torah is exactly the same, down to each letter. It's been the same text for centuries... The Biblical gospels, in my opinion, are not necessarily preserved because they were never inspired by God in the first place. They're just manmade books that some people believe detail the life of Jesus, and there's not even any historical evidence that these books were actually written by Jesus' disciples.

The message given to Jesus by God. (At least that is what I was told in another thread)

If you compare the Christian gospel to other historical texts, you'll notice that it's nearly identical to the mythological passages of former gods, especially in Greece and Rome. The Biblical story of Jesus is no more than a retelling of the stories of Khrishna and Mithras...

The book that I've found to be closest to the true Evangel as mentioned in the Qur'aan is the Gospel of the Nazarenes, a book that all Nazarenes and Ebionites were very familiar with. In that book, it relates an account of Jesus actually receiving a book ("al injeel"?) from Moses and Elijah, and this book contains certain commandments that Jesus told his followers to observe...

Even the gospel of the Nazerenes is just a book of biography as the four gospels of John, Mathew, Mark and Luke, and in fact the are identical except in few places.

That is because Matthew is a copy of Mark, Luke is just a letter written after reading Mark, and John is probably a fabrication by the early church to bring in a couple of things that they wanted in the bible but was not there.

There is still an important message in the gospels, that hasn't changed, it is just the silly details about Jesus that was messed with.

you know the quran always advocate bringing proves, can you give any prove for your claims. And note if it is regarding the issue of similar narrations, Quran also has that in it, so will this invalidate the Quran or bring about the issue of copyright?

No of course it will not invalidate the Quran as the Quran does not include (as far as I know) any of the changes. In fact the Quran includes part of one on the gospels left out of the bible.

I have to ask a question here, what is the Injil? Is it the gospels?

The Injil (or Injeel) is the scripture that Jesus recieved. It is definitely not the NT. We dont know what it is. Perhaps in the future it will be found, GW.

I am no longer a Sunna-rejecter. See 4:59-65, 62:2-4, 3:31, 4:156, 7:157 Messenger teaches and is to be followed and obeyed. Examples of revelation received which is not in the Qur'an: 3:123-126, 33:37, 2:187, 66:3, 62:9.

Thanks for the link, John. I read through it a bit. I just wanted to correct you Jesus was born in September - which is what most/many historians say and which is also in line with what the Quran says.

1922 So she (Mary) was pregnant with him (Jesus), and she went to deliver in a far place.

1923 Then the birth pains came to her, by the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "I wish I had died before this, and became totally forgotten!"

1924 But then he called to her from beneath her "Do not be sad, your Lord has made below you a stream."

1925 "Shake the trunk of this palm tree, it will cause ripe dates to fall upon you."

This could not have been happening in fall/September.

You're missing the point of what I said... Yes, the Gospel of the Nazarenes is a biographical sketch of Jesus' life, and it differs from the 4 Biblical gospels. However, INSIDE that biographical sketch, it mentions a book that Jesus was given from the hands of Moses and Elijah, and it outlines certain laws that he commanded his followers to observe. The book mentioned in the Gospel of the Nazarenes, and the laws within it, may be the true "Injeel"/Evangel that the Qur'aan is speaking of...

                                        1. AND Iesus said unto them, Behold a new law I give unto you, which is not new but old. Even as Moses gave the Ten Commandments to Israel after the flesh, so also I give unto you the Twelve for the Kingdom of Israel after the Spirit.
                                        2. For who are the Israel of God ? Even they of every nation and tribe who work righteousness, love mercy and keep my commandments, these are the true Israel of God. And standing upon his feet, Jesus spake, saying
                                        3. Hear O Israel, JOVA, thy God is One; many are My seers, and My prophets. In Me all live and move, and have subsistence.
                                        4. Ye shall not take away the life of any creature for your pleasure, nor for your profit. nor yet torment it.
                                        5. Ye shall not steal the goods of any, nor gather lands and riches to yourselves, beyond your need or use.
                                        6. Ye shall not eat the flesh, nor drink the blood of any slaughtered creature, nor yet any thing which bringeth disorder to your health or senses.
                                        7. Ye shall not make impure marriages, where love and health are not, nor yet corrupt yourselves, or any creature made pure by the Holy.
                                        8. Ye shall not bear false witness against any, nor wilfully deceive any by a lie to hurt them.
                                        9. Ye shall not do unto others, as ye would not that others should do unto you.
                                        10. Ye shall worship One Eternal, the Father-Mother in Heaven, of Whom are all things, and reverence the holy Name.
                                        11. Ye shall revere your fathers and your mothers on earth, whose care is for you, and all the Teachers of Righteousness.
                                        12. Ye shall cherish and protect the weak, and those who are oppressed, and all creatures that suffer wrong.
