Women: Taraweeh at the masjid or home
-
Salaam everyone...
I was just wondering hmm if we always have to go off topic in each and every thread?? Is this some kind of sickness offtopic
Why dont we get back to the topic and just past some quranic verses right here which refute this macho mullahs straight away??
I was just thinking that too.

I went to the mosque today for Jummah and got kicked out. Even though I went to the Women's Prayer room! The women's prayer room had some men praying in there, which I found odd, but thought it must be overspill, so I went to the back to pray and afterwards a man came up to me and said women are not allowed to pray in the same room as men as this is HARAM. I told him that this is not in the Qur'an and he then went on to tell me how it must be HARAM because he has been studing Islam for 3 years...
(Though he did kindly point me in the direction of the kitchen and said it would be ok if I prayed there, as long as the men could not see me.)
So I said, I believe Allah S.w.t wants us to pray in congregation, not separate, but he said it is only women that can pray with other women. So I said, well I am in the women's side, it's not me who is in the wrong place.
The cheek of it, I was fuming. May Allah give me patience and strength, InshAllah.

So to accommodate for men they take womens place in the mosque...
i know a mosque here that does that except they leave a portion for women, and they cover it with curtains So you can't see.
Another mosque near me, they have women praying behind men.
Another mosque has a women's section no men go to, and a TV so women can see the sheikh ..
thats sad, though good on you for sticking up for yourself. How pathetic of him saying "i must know" or it must be haram simply because he has been studying for 3 yrs..

So if there were more women, would they allow them to take over the men's section?

Peace,
Respectfully. This is the most insulting thing ever! I am full of rage, this video has made me so freakin' angry, i could bust the guy on the floor and kick him like Ray Liotta protecting his girlfriend in Goodfellas.
Women must and will be respected and treated as equals!
Women are beautiful, how dares he say that a woman should stay at home an dpray alone and furthermore, how dares he say that she should obey her husband!? Woman should first and foremost obey The Exalted God The Most Wise, The Most High, Who gave her life, health, wisdom, patience, Who guided her and have her so many blessings. The Exalted God has created a woman different then a man - man will never, never understand what's it like to give birth to a child, i will never feel the pain tha a woman goes when delivering a child. My mother broke most her teeth during the delivery of me and later in life her dentist told her all her teeth are now broken and must come out, because they're broken vertically and they will exit with more pain. So all in all, my mother had to not only work for 30 years at the company which ordered her to take off her hijab and where she worked 8 and sometimes 16 hours a day, 5, 6 and even 7 days of the week and got fired because the comapny was sold to some rich investor but she lost all her teeth, she lives in a country that treats her as a second-class citizen, becuase she is an immigrant (from Bosnia) and on top of all that, she had to go through the throat surgery because of the dust that piled up after three decades of work in a place where cardboards are being cut 24 hours a day.
Women must be respected and sunnis have no respect for women, our sisters, our mothers, our daughters, our nieces and so on. Women in Mid-East - some, not all, don't know how to read and write and even in places in Africa. That is a shame for humans!
Has a woman started a war?
No.
Do women get same salaries for same work as men?
yeah
How many babies do sunni-women push out?
Apparently not enough!I love my fioncee and i want to marry her because i asked for such a woman and becaus ei love her, I LOVE HER, she is the most beautiful woman on the planet. Forget miss Venezuela, miss France, miss Italy or miss Spain.
May The Exalted God The Most Merciful help us all and especially women and especially those women that are oppressed - in Afghanistan, Las Vegas, communism, Africa and so on. God bless you all.
Fear not, sisters, God hears ALL. Ask Him.Peace.

That's all.
Peace all
The point the mullah is making that, instead of causing a quarrel the women should agree with her husband and pray at home. Thus he is not worried for her safety, because god as made it his responsibility to care for his wife. Think logically.

I am thinking logically, why should men be more important?
