    Peace Leanne,

Hi Ahamad the Jews rejected their Messiah that is why God scatterd the Jewish folk about 2000 years ago, there is a lot of Mesianic Jews today who love their Lord, hallelujah. oh Jesus rose from the dead but did not have blood as His blood was poured out for many, the sins of man kind. Hey when the diciples saw Jesus they went to tell Thomas who is known as douting Thomas, and Thomas said unless I see the scars in His hand and the wounds in His side I am not going to believe. Jesus walked in the room when they had the door shut as Jesus walked through the walls as He as in His new reserected bodies, as He is the first to get that and all the dead in Christ who are in their graves will get theirs too when the rapture happens anyway Jesus said to Thomas, Thomas stop your doubting and believe, feel my wounds put your hands in my side, and when Thomas saw He fell prostrate on the floor and said "My Lord and My God" Jesus said "Yes Thomas you believe Me because you have seen Me, but blessed are those who believe without seeing" what a hope. Have you seen the passion of the Christ? I have. get this there was one guy from Euroope who went into to see that Movie by Mell Gibson and he was a murdererer on the run but after he saw that movie he stayed there after everyone left and cried out to Jesus and went to hand himself in and guess what friends? Jesus reduced his sentence and no is free and preaching the good news, hey Jesus did miracles on earth and He is still doing them today. Jesus came to set the captives free. Yes so many Jews are "still waiting for the Messiah" but their Messiah came about 2000 years ago and it was prophecied He will be rejected by men, and He is a man of sorrows. He will be dispised hey friends I will find in Issiah where the prophet Issiah spoke about yeshua through the annonting of God . oh found it Issiah chapter 42 verse 1 "Here is My Servant whom I uphld My chosen One in whom I delight. I will put My Spirit on Him and He will bring Justice to the nations. He will not shout or cry out, or raise His voice in the streets. A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out. In Faithfulness He will bring forth justice; He will not falter or be discouraged till He establishes justice on earth. In His law the islands will put thier hope" God called the Jewish people stiff necked people. I will give another chaper where it prophcied the Messiah being born of a virgin. Issiah chaper 9 under the heading to us a child is born. in verse 6 "For unto us a child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wouderful Councelor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His govenment and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over His Kingdom, establishing and upholding it with Justice and Righteousness from that time on and forever. The Zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this" also I will give you this too in Luke chapter 8 verse 26 under the heading the healing of a demon possessed man. "They sailed to a region of the Gerasenes, which is across the lake from Galilee. When Jesus stepped ashore, He ws met by a demon- possessed man from the town. For a long time this man had not worn clothes or lived ina house, but had lived in the tombs When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet shouting at the top of his voice, "What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don't torture me! For Jesus had commanded the evil sprit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was chained hand and foot and kept under guard, he had broken his chains and been driven by the demon into solitary places. Jesus asked him "What is your name? "Legion" he replies becasue many demons had gone into him. And they begged Him repeatedly not to order them to go into the Abyss(hell) A large herd of pigs were feeding their on the hillside. The demons begged Jesus to let them go into them, and he gave them permission. When the demons came out of the man they went into the pigs and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned. When those tending the pigs saw what had happend they ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happend. When they came to Jesus, they found the man from whom the demons had gone out sitting at Jesus feet dressed and in his right mind and they were afraid. Those who had seen it tld the people how the demon- possessed man had been cured. Then all the people of hte region of the Gerasenes asked Jesus to leave them, because they were overcome with fear. So He got into the boat and left, The man from whome the demons had gone out begged Jesus to go with him, but Jesus sent him away saying "Return home and tell hw much God has done for you" So the mean went away and told alll over town how much Jesus had done for him. oh you do not know love until you have the Love of Jesus, there is none like Him. so people please google in Worthy is the Lamb and watch it on u tube and ask God to touch you and just soak in His Presence. Please. You will feel the love of the Father as you never have in your life, this will touch you as it does me. Let me know what happens.

I won't break up your words here, since you covered so much in little space. I'll just consider the things you mentioned here... To begin, how do you know Jesus died and was resurrected? The disciple "Thomas" didn't believe that Jesus had died and was raised up, so Jesus had to come thru and show him the wounds. The question is WHO'S BODY WAS IT?! If Jesus was raised up in a new body, he wouldn't have the same wounds and scars he acquired on the cross. So, this means, logically speaking, Jesus must've been in the SAME BODY when he was raised up that he was in when he "died". Therefore, how do you know he really died at all? Nothing in the passage says anything about Jesus "walking thru a wall"; that's ridiculous. Nobody can walk thru walls, including Jesus... Regarding the movie "The Passion of the Christ", I saw it a while ago, and the concept is not relevant. Just because a guy turned himself in after watching doesn't mean Jesus was the maschiach. Or are you implying that you believe Mel Gibson was appointed to make a divinely inspired movie? If not, then the movie doesn't matter at all... On the topic of the prophet Isaiah, there isn't any verse in his writings that ever alleges that the maschiach would be born of a virgin, NOWHERE. This is a Christian deliberate mistranslation of the Hebrew text, and it's not even remotely accurate. The passage is not talking about the maschiach at all, and it's doesn't say anything about a virgin. Also, throughout the book of Isaiah, the term "My servant", spoken by G-d, is repeatedly used in reference to the ENTIRE NATION OF ISRAEL. It's not used to refer to the maschiach, and it's not used in reference to Jesus. If you read thru the book of Isaiah, you'll understand what I'm talking about...

On the issue of kingship, Jesus never ruled anyone or anything. He never took upon the throne of King David, so why do you claim that he was the maschiach? The maschiach, according to the Tanakh, would be a king and a ruler over the people, not a preacher and healer... You can't declare Jesus the maschiach simply because he performed signs and wonders, since this doesn't mean anything. All the prophets performed signs too, and so did some of the evildoers. For example, the magicians who stood against Moses performed wonders, yet neither of them were guided by G-d. So, just because someone can perform signs doesn't make them prophets, messiahs, or even worshippers of G-d. There are plenty of blatant blasphemers who can perform "miracles", even today...

My question is this WHY DO YOU BELIEVE JESUS WAS THE MASCHIACH? What led you to this conclusion, and why? Jesus didn't even claim to be the maschiach while he was alive, according to the Bible... What makes you believe that he died for everyone's sins? And why will people go to hell for not accepting Jesus as their "lord" and "savior"? Is this really necessary? I'm just wondering...

    Peace,

    Ahmad

.... you know that after Jesus was baptised in the River Jordan by John the Baptist the Holy Spirit decended upon Him in the form of a dove and a voice from Heaven from the Father said "This is My beloved Son in whom I Am well pleased" after that you know Jesus went to fast for 40 days in the wilderness and was tempted by satan but Jesus used scripture to satan and satan left him alone for a season. satan said if you are the Son of God why don't you throw yourself of this cliff and God will send angels to catch you and you will not hit your foot upon a stone. ....

      salam leanne,

my apology, but by your account, the guy whom you called jesus was pathetic (sorry for the lack of choice words) - he needed to be baptized by another guy named john in river jordan. common sense dictates that the john guy must be of a higher status than the jesus guy, for it was the john guy who baptized the jesus guy in your story. or, do you get baptized by someone of lesser status?

btw, just because mary (maryam) was a single mother right from the start (mary was never touched by any man, thus jesus (isha) had no father), stories were created simply to justify human curiosity about biological births. the materialistic instinct of the human mind could not comprehend the fact that jesus (isha) was born without a father. but God can easily simply command, "Be!" And anything that He has in intent becomes. that is the very special attribute of God. He created adam the first man out of nowhere, so what could ever deter Him from creating jesus (isha) without a father. just because jesus (isha) has no father, certain people imagined that God is the father?

let's follow your line of thought
since your god had a son, then your god must surely had a wife (since this jesus guy in your story had a father - common sense dictates that a son must have a mother and father, thus the father and mother are the son's parents or husband and wife)? so, yours is a male god, eh? what kind of god is that, a male god that had a wife? was he a real god or simply a human or perhaps a jinn god - a god that had a son and a wife. or even perhaps a god in your imagination?

but interestingly, the satan in your story has more sense.

whatever it is, this god in your story cannot be anybody's god but yours. still, others may buy your story, but not me. thanks, but no.

      be in peace

you have a choice, and at the moment to me it sounds like you have made up your mind. No satan had nothing to do with the Word of God. and if you want to get to know who Jesus really is ask God. I am getting sick of preaching to some people who will not listen to the gospel so all I have to say is Ask God not me. but ask in Jesus name. My God is a God of love and a God of Miracles and He is My Heavenly Father through Christ but I will stop there because there is no point in throwing perl before swine.

          leanne,

          fftopic

this forum is called free-minds, lest you didn't notice. free-minds is a place to inform, to share and to discuss, thus everything beyond is not welcome.

but, "I am getting sick of preaching to some people who will not listen to the gospel...," said you. but that's your problem, for you have breached the unwritten rule of free-minds. and as you have posted in a different thread ('god&#039, "you shall deserve what you sow". true isn't it?

pearl or swine is merely a matter of perception, and in a little while (perhaps after college) you will see both in a different light. perceptions matters not, for the only perception i care is God's. thus, take it easy, and be always at peace with yourself.

          peace

MOST PEOPLE BELIEVE ALLAH IS IN HEAVEN
NO IT IS NOT, BEACAUSE AS IT IS NARATED IN THE QURAN (ALLAH IS CLOSER TO US THAN THE VEIN IN OUR NECK)
                    ALLAH IS EVERY WHERE
                    ALLAHU ALAMU

No no, that is because most people will be able to see the god in heaven.

Most people will "see" Him in heaven? -\ How will this be possible, since Allah has no physical form?

It just reminded me of something. I remember either hearing on tv or from my mother that in heaven the greatest pleasure would be to see God's face and He will show it to those who make it. I believed it then but I don't remember it being backed up by Quranic evidence, plus the idea that God has a face is just... I don't know what to say!

The Qur'aan describes God as omnipresent. An omnipresent being can't be confined to one place at any one time. No physical being can be omniscient or omnipresent (all places at all times), which means that God is not physical. Therefore, seeing God's "face" at any given point in time is illogical.

How you know he has no physical form?????????

                                        This is the answer.

The Qur'aan describes God as omnipresent. An omnipresent being can't be confined to one place at any one time. No physical being can be omniscient or omnipresent (all places at all times), which means that God is not physical. Therefore, seeing God's "face" at any given point in time is illogical.
