Women's Singing and Qur'an Recitation in Public

saying that he is sexy makes you under that you have felt some fantasy . and makes you under cheating .
you watched Tarkan's video and you did find him sexy, so this lead us to the section of having some sexual attraction over him, if you're married, you have cheated your husband, if you're not, you did have a fantasy which can be measured as a guilt and God knows .
Where does it say in Quran 'thou shalt not be attracted to the opposite sex on video or you have cheated'
where does it say anywhere that finding someone attractive or sexy leads to having fantasy about them??
You are not married are you deformer

there was a clear warning so you shouldnt have watched it.
I watched the first 5 seconds and then I had shut it down. so when I saw him dancing half naked and a blonde girl I canceled the webpage.

Are you serious? Saying someone is sexy means you are automatically having fantasies about having sex with that person and thus you are cheating?
Sorry, I consider this bizarre nonsense. It's a weird train of thought with no scriptural or logical evidence.
Btw., I can very well say or see that a person is sexy / attractive etc. without feeling attracted to him or her. Yes, it applies to women too. So whenever I tell a friend she looks good, or sexy, I am having a fantasy about her and am cheating on my husband? Get real!
http//img337.imageshack.us/img337/3135/iconconfused.gifAnyway ... you have just confirmed something imporant -- that you believe a woman can get turned on to the point of cheating by a man's voice and / or looks. Even when she only sees him on a screen.
So that brings us to the logic of what was being discussed here in the first place. Why should a woman's voice be considered awrah, but not a man's? Why should women hide their bodies and hair and voices, but not the men? And, if women are so dangerous, why shouldn't we tell the men to stay at their homes and away from the masajid etc.? Remember the command for men to lower the gaze comes before the command for women. Maybe there is some insignificance in that? Might be a thought worth pondering ...

In the issue of an age, one's duty is to turn to the recognized authorities of that age. In the issues -- the key issues -- the new matters, the challenges facing Muslims in any particular time, our duty is not just to dig up the answer ourselves, or to try to figure things out, or just going back to the texts alone. But rather ... we have to turn to the recognized authorities of our age.

No matter how much you dislike but the fact is majority of the fatwas have link to quran and are certified and accepted by the mainstream!

Raza Brailvi proudly proclaims in the preamble of his translation "Kanzul Iman" that he gave first fatwa when he was thirteen years of age, , and the mainstream accepts those. Result is before the world.

I'll not answer you again, so hold this post as a memo of me.

Well, I'm far from being an expert on Mr. Rabbani and his fatawa, but the ones I've read were mostly based on ahadeeth and unsubstianted claims that seemed to reflect the author's opinion rather than religious truth.
and are certified and accepted by the mainstream!
I don't care what's being accepted by the mainstream or not. peace

of course! men are basically animals that cant control themselves, thats why women have to be covered up and hidden away so as not to arouse them . I dunno why they bothered doing away with burying them at birth, saved a lot of upset
Peace,
Respectfully. Not all men think of sex all the time and for example, we live in recession now, so most people think how o survive financially.
Peace.

I don't understand why the word "fitna" is brought in whenever something is related to women? Iblees is obviously not woman or feminine.
