                    Drop a gem on us.

fight fire with fire , is a saying known from years ago and every nation in the whole world share the same saying, the only thing that change is the language .

The source of this phrase was actual fire-fighting that was taken on by US settlers in the 19th century. when they have controled a huge fire and eliminted its power by making a flame of fires around the huge one in the woods, and it was successful because this new made fire from the settlers choked the huge fire.

and about your question, I think to the end of knowing that everyone has right of defending by his own materiels.

Isn't the internet wonderful for finding out things!

No, I've just wanted to explain to you the saying literally and you can later make it valid in whatever

Isn't the internet wonderful for finding out things!

I think I've seen this thing in TV . the only word that I took from internet is this "The source of this phrase was actual fire-fighting that was taken on by US settlers in the 19th century"

the whole post is mine according to a TV program in TV about fire I've watched it before.

So you believe in retaliation Thereformer1? -To what end?

there is a misundertood here . I believe in "" , which is allowed in Quran .
