And the fact is that they are certainly not the believers.
Word by Word Analysis 208
They are not saying/proclaiming this to the walls and mountained. They are saying this to True Believers. This does not contain their pronouncement about believing in Muhammad the Messenger of Allah.

"We bear witness that indeed you are certainly the Messenger of Allah"Surat Al Munafiqoon
This is typical behaviour of Munifiqeen. Before believers they do not testify their belief in Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam being the Messenger of Allah alongwith their so called proclamation of belief in Allah and the last day. And when they called in privacy upon the Messenger Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam there they with all force of emphasis said about the Messenger without stating belief in Allah and the Last Day. Allah straightaway declared them as Liars.
The throats of Munifqeen get choked for pronouncing these two undeniable facts simultaneously before people.

Proounce and write bodly three times in Arabic to get out of the company of those determined Munifiqeen and then request the Messenger for forgiving you and to seekk forgiveness for you from Allah.

MM khan,
You are certainly wrong there brother, please read the following Ayat thenAllah took a covenant from the prophets, saying, "I will give you the scripture and wisdom. Afterwards, a messenger will come to confirm all existing scriptures. You shall believe in him and support him." He said, "Do you agree with this, and pledge to fulfill this covenant?" They said, "We agree." He said, "You have thus borne witness, and I bear witness along with you."
and in the very next Ayat Allah Warns Those who reject this are the evil ones.
If you read the verses before this you will find this is to do with Jesus and those that worshipped him.
3.79 It is not (possible) that a man, to whom is given the Book, and Wisdom, and the prophetic office, should say to people "Be ye my worshippers rather than Allah's" on the contrary (He would say) "Be ye worshippers of Him Who is truly the Cherisher of all For ye have taught the Book and ye have studied it earnestly."
3.80 Nor would he instruct you to take angels and prophets for Lords and patrons. What! would he bid you to unbelief after ye have bowed your will (To Allah in Islam)?
3.81 Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying "I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a messenger, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." Allah said "Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said "We agree." He said "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."This last verse shows that ALL the prophets that came confirmed what was with them, what came before, Jesus confirmed what came before and so did Muhammed.
This is NOT a verse to use to show people your twisted thinking in that ALL previous prophets somehow bowed to Muhammed, which is what you appear to be trying to show. The verses show CLEARLY that each prophet will have helped the others and believed in each other and that at NO TIME would ANY prophet of God tell believers to worship him beside GOD ALONE.
So dear Khan, it is quite obvious that when the seal of Prophets has arrived, the promise of Allah has been fulfilled, now all those previous prophets have to believe in him and support him, as they promised to Allah. When they all witness to him then there is no need for us to say Esa Roohullah etc.
there is no need to say it for Muhammed either as the verse you are claiming above was relating to the people of Jesus who claim he said worship him and if you look at 33.7 God also made this covenant with Muhammed. The verse says Allah took the convenant of THE PROPHETS meaning ALL the prophets, not all those before Muhammed, so what 'promise' of Allah are you talking about? To post this verse in support of your argument holds no impact at least for those who are discussing this subject, because they DO NOT, repeat do not, take any one as equal or even near equal to Allah, as it is the biggest SHIRK.
many verses seem to hold no impact for you Raj, but this is what Allah says and although you CLAIM to be not committing shirk, do you really REALLY think that it is done INTENTIONALLY by anyone? For Ayisha all I could say is, Allah Ho Akbar who has created creations of all kinds.
Why for me? I KNOW He has created everything.
-
Look how conveniently Munafiqeen get disturbed and perplexed and even loose control and understanding of their mother tongue.
You wrote it mazhar, obviously you don't understand what it says and I am neither disturbed nor perplexed, you very obviously are, big time.
Re read what is said by me.
I copied and pasted what was said by you
Now you are proving yourself to be really a Munafiq since you cant pronounce these two undeniable facts simultaneously.
But you have said, and I quote, "The throats of Munifqeen get choked for pronouncing these two undeniable facts simultaneously before people". unquote. So WHY are you standing there as my judge and trying to get me to do this?
Proounce and write bodly three times in Arabic to get out of the company of those determined Munifiqeen and then request the Messenger for forgiving you and to seekk forgiveness for you from Allah.
Now you want 'pronounce and write boldly three times in Arabic' and not Say loudly thrice! laugh
How DARE you tell me to commit GROSS shirk by asking a dead man to seek forgiveness for me? I ask forgiveness from ALLAH ALONE.
4.106 But seek the forgiveness of Allah; for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
11.03 "(And to preach thus), 'Seek ye the forgiveness of your Lord, and turn to Him in repentance; that He may grant you enjoyment, good (and true), for a term appointed, and bestow His abounding grace on all who abound in merit! But if ye turn away, then I fear for you the penalty of a great day
11.90 "But ask forgiveness of your Lord, and turn unto Him (in repentance) For my Lord is indeed full of mercy and loving-kindness."
40.12 (The answer will be) "This is because, when Allah was invoked as the Only (object of worship), ye did reject Faith, but when partners were joined to Him, ye believed! the Command is with Allah, Most High, Most Great!"
39.45 When Allah, the One and Only, is mentioned, the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter are filled with disgust and horror; but when (gods) other than He are mentioned, behold, they are filled with joy!
39.14 Say "It is Allah I serve, with my sincere (and exclusive) devotion
39.15 "Serve ye what ye will besides him." Say "Truly, those in loss are those who lose their own souls and their People on the Day of Judgment Ah! that is indeed the (real and) evident Loss!
39.3 Is it not to Allah that sincere devotion is due? But Allah guides not such as are false and ungrateful.
But those who take for protectors other than Allah (say) "We only serve them in order that they may bring us nearer to Allah." Truly Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ.I leave you to pray to Muahmmed and to worship him beside Allah and may Allah guide you and release the veil on your idolatrous eyes and heart.

Some people have taken it from Rashad Khailfa and carried it over, the Verse 2285
what does RK have to do with this, he didnt make this verse, Allah did.We have to understand that the mention of Muhammad (PIUH) in the Shahadah is not with the purpose of declaring his supremacy over the other prophets of Allah nor with the purpose of creating a distinction between the various prophets of Allah, but with the sole purpose of declaring that the adherents of Islam - in contrast to all the religions of the world - believe in the one true God and the prophet-hood of Muhammad (PIUH). It is because of the belief in the prophethood of Muhammad (PIUH) that Muslims are prohibited from creating any distinction between the prophets of Allah or of ascribing absolute supremacy to any one of the prophets of God over the others. (Moiz Amjad)
read raj, PROHIBITED from creating any distinction between the prophets of Allah or of ascribing absolute supremacy to any one of the prophets of God over the others.
However if Allah has preferred one over others that is his will.
It is also interesting to note that had the Qur'an or Islam prohibited bearing witness regarding the prophethood of Muhammad (PIUH) and had it restricted its followers to testify only about the oneness of God, then the testimony of the hypocrites mentioned in Al-Munafiqoon 63 1 would have been mentioned as an act of outright rejection of Islamic directives, rather than hypocrisy. (Moiz Amjad)
318A is not a statement of the comprehensive testimony of Islam but is, in fact, a testimony of Tawheed - i.e., the oneness of God - which is a part of the comprehensive testimony of Islam.
I didnt know there had been something added to 3.18 as 3.18A.How can anyone claim ONEness and then claim something else as PART of ONE.
And where ever it is said of 'associating anything with Allah' in the Ayats of Quran it implies holding someone equal to Allah. It does not, in any way, hinder the combined declaration of the oneness of God and the prophet-hood of Muhammad in the Shahadah, as No one is holding Muhammad PIUH as equal to Allah as it is the Biggest Shirk.
As ever if you keep saying it over and over again you do come to really believe that.

Salaamun dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
Please allow to say something and please excuse my poor English.
Laa Ilaaha illaAllah is an Aayat of AlQuraan/The Book of Allah
Mohammedu AlRasool Allah is also an Aayat of AlQuraan/The Book of Allah
We have to believe and accept both the aayaats, but IMHO we have not right to join or separate any of the aayaats of our choice. Allah would have send these two aayaats together if it has to.
Secondly, when we believe that Mohammed is a Messenger of Allah, does it need parroting? If so, then our Shahadah or Kalima should be
Laa Ilaaha IllaAllahu Mohammedu AlRasool Allah, Eisa AlRasool Allah, Moosa AlRasool Allah, etc... Cause we not only believe in Mohamed being a Messenger of Allah but we also believe that others as well. So, why not parrot there names too whenever we say Laa Ilaaha IllaAllah ???
I believe that every person who believe in Allah alone and His Book alone does respect Prophet Mohammed. Infact, they have to as a Messenger of Allah.
But... also I would like to add 2165 in regards to the subject of this thread.
2165
2165 And from among the people are some who take other than Allah as equals to Him, they love them as they love Allah; but those who believe love Allah more strongly; and when those who were wicked see the retribution, they will see that all power belongs to Allah, and that Allah is severe in retribution.
I hope you understand what I said.
May Allah guide us all towards the correct path.
Mohammed M. Khan
Peace mmkhan
Thank you for this truthful post, sadly you will see that some are still trying to fight this and claim some sort of supremacy of one messenger over others and are blind to your post and to the verses of Allah and the message it contains.
2165 And from among the people are some who take other than Allah as equals to Him, they love them as they love Allah; but those who believe love Allah more strongly; and when those who were wicked see the retribution, they will see that all power belongs to Allah, and that Allah is severe in retribution.
so true peace

They said, "We agree." He said, "You have thus borne witness, and I bear witness along with you."
Dear brother?
The ayat is wrongly quoted by you. Please check the following
1- The covenant was taken by Allah from PROPHETS .
2- Red highlighted part should be translated as 'whatever I give you from Scripture' Arabic word is 'Kitaab(in)' there is no 'al' with it so 'The Scripture' will not be the correct translation.
3- Green highlighted part should be translated as 'Afterwards which ever messenger comes to you confirming what is with you'. Again it is said 'Rasool' not 'AlRasool' , that means Rasool could be any person not necessarily the appointed Allah's Messenger. The important part here is which ever is the messenger, he has to authenticate what is with them .
and in the very next Ayat Allah Warns Those who reject this are the evil ones.
Those? Who? We have nothing to do here in 381, ONLY The Prophets and Messenger has to deal with it.
So dear Khan, it is quite obvious that when the seal of Prophets has arrived, the promise of Allah has been fulfilled, now all those previous prophets have to believe in him and support him, as they promised to Allah. When they all witness to him then there is no need for us to say Esa Roohullah etc.
Seal of Prophets? You said "a messenger will come" from the above aayat. Where the seal of Prophets came in between?
All those previous Prophets have to believe in him??? In Whom? Prophet Mohammed? How?
And support him??? Previous Prophets have to support Prophet Mohammed??? How?
When they all witness to him??? Witness to him? You mean witness to Prophet Mohammed??? hmm
Esa Roohuallah??? I did not say that, I swear yes
To post this verse in support of your argument holds no impact at least for those who are discussing this subject, because they DO NOT, repeat do not, take any one as equal or even near equal to Allah, as it is the biggest SHIRK.
Sister Ayisha already answered this as follows
2165 And from among the people are some who take other than Allah as equals to Him, they love them as they love Allah; but those who believe love Allah more strongly; and when those who were wicked see the retribution, they will see that all power belongs to Allah, and that Allah is severe in retribution.

Say "What thing is most weighty in evidence?" Say "God is witness between me and you; This Quran hath been revealed to me by inspiration, that I may warn you and all whom it reaches. Can ye possibly bear witness that besides God there is another God?" Say "Nay! I cannot bear witness!" Say "But in truth He is the one God, and I truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining others with Him." Those to whom We have given the Book know this as they know their own sons. Those who have lost their own souls refuse therefore to believe.
In the whole Quran Prophet never TESTIFIED that besides God there is another God. One occasion came before the Prophet when he could have TESTIFIED, but Allah prohibited him to TESTIFY.
WHEN PROPHET NEVER testified, when Allah PROHIBITED the prophet to TESTIFY then why should we go on TESTIFYING day and night LAA ILAA HAA IL LALLAAH. W
Add this, prophet telling his followers to TESTIFY for himself also.
Allah never commanded the Believers to TESTIFY, HIS Oneness and moreover PROHIBITED the Prophet to TESTIFY the same

Salaam, MM Khan
Dear brother?
The ayat is wrongly quoted by you.Alright, then please show us the correct one.
Please check the following
1- The covenant was taken by Allah from PROPHETS
Yes. That is what I said. That is what the Ayat says.
2- Red highlighted part should be translated as 'whatever I give you from Scripture' Arabic word is 'Kitaab(in)' there is no 'al' with it so 'The Scripture' will not be the correct translation.
alright, right now i don't debate it. So? if it is from the scripture or scripture it self? what are you trying to prove?
3- Green highlighted part should be translated as 'Afterwards which ever messenger comes to you confirming what is with you'. Again it is said 'Rasool' not 'AlRasool' , that means Rasool could be any person not necessarily the appointed Allah's Messenger. The important part here is which ever is the messenger, he has to authenticate what is with them .
So you are one of those who deny Muhammad (PIUH) as a Final Messenger of Allah! That was most pathetic try of twisting the verse I ever saw, sorry to say.
Those? Who? We have nothing to do here in 381, ONLY The Prophets and Messenger has to deal with it.
This only shows your ignorance. The Ayats are for guidance of people. Even if Messengers are warned here that they e will become "Fasiqoon" if they reject, what about those ordinary people who reject?
Seal of Prophets? You said "a messenger will come" from the above aayat. Where the seal of Prophets came in between?
he did not came in between, he was always there, only disbelievers can't see it. The convent was took from All prophets that a Messenger will come, and if that Messenger was not Muhammad PIUH why mention it in the Last book of Allah, that was revealed unto Muhammad PIUH.
MM khan
All those previous Prophets have to believe in him??? In Whom? Prophet Mohammed? How?
And support him??? Previous Prophets have to support Prophet Mohammed??? How?
When they all witness to him??? Witness to him? You mean witness to Prophet Mohammed??Yes! Just read your above explanation of the verse and you will see how? and it will also reveal to you the absurdity of your argument. and read this
O Prophet! Lo! We have sent thee as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner
and then this
Nay, but he brought the Truth, and he confirmed those sent 3737
and This
He it is Who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religion. And Allah sufficeth as a witness.
Esa Roohuallah??? I did not say that, I swear
You need not swear, I am sure now you can't.
MM Khan
Sister Ayisha already answered this as follows
2165 And from among the people are some who take other than Allah as equals to Him, they love them as they love Allah; but those who believe love Allah more strongly; and when those who were wicked see the retribution, they will see that all power belongs to Allah, and that Allah is severe in retribution. She thinks Allah can send message through a donkey for humans against Allah's Set law, that means in her eyes Donkeys and Messengers of Allah have no distinction. She has no respect for the messengers of Allah and specially for Muhammad peace is upon him. What she says verbally about respect of messengers, fails to portray it practically, as shown to us by MAZHAR.
Read the following aayt
Alnnabiyyu awla bialmumineena min anfusihim waazwajuhu ommahatuhum waoloo alarhami baAAduhum awla bibaAAdin fee kitabi Allahi mina almumineena waalmuhajireena illa an tafAAaloo ila awliyaikum maAAroofan kana thalika fee alkitabi mastooran
336and 944
and
Say If your fathers, and your sons, and your brethren, and your wives, and your tribe, and the wealth ye have acquired, and merchandise for which ye fear that there will be no sale, and dwellings ye desire are dearer to you than Allah and His messenger and striving in His way then wait till Allah bringeth His command to pass. Allah guideth not wrong doing folk. 924
Allah mentions Muhammad's name very next to his own
It was clarified before that no one is taking any one Equal to Allah. Yet to parrot the same aayt posted by Ayisha says it all.May Allah open our hearts to understand The Truth

Mr. Rajaah
Give me one verse where Prophet has TESTIFIED. Allah has PROHIBITED prophet to testify in verse 619. Uttering is different and TESTIFYING is different. I follow Quran and unless Allah commands I do not follow any man made rituals and all nonsense. When we believe that Allah is ONE and there is no other Allah and Muhammad is HIS messenger then why go on TESTIFYING day and night in Adhan and prayers. To whom we are TESTIFYING? Who has asked/told/commanded. Prove me from Quran THAT Allah has told/commanded us to TESTIFY? (THERE IS SOMETHING IN THIS WORLD AND THAT IS CALLED COMMON SENSE, WHICH WE SHOULD USE)
Allah has commanded us to pray, give sadaqah, piety etc. etc. in the Quran but where is the verses for TESTIFYING?
O YE WHO BELIEVED, TESTIFY THAT THERE IS NO GOD EXCEPT GOD AND MUHAMMAD IS HIS MESSENGER
Only thing we find in the Quran is BELIEVING.
If you find such verse please post it.
May ALLAH guide all of us.

Hafeez Kazi
(THERE IS SOMETHING IN THIS WORLD AND THAT IS CALLED COMMON SENSE, WHICH WE SHOULD USE)
That is why we Witness the name of Muhammad Peace is upon him to show others, We do not believe in False Messengers.
And the verse I posted comes from the mouth of Muhammad PIUH.
Regarding 619 please read the commentary of MAzhar, few pages back may be, and if you still have any questions we discuss it.

I don' understand one thing only, people here love some scientists to the extreme, give too much reverence to many philosophers but when it comes to mohamed, emmmm he's just a man, he's almost a nobody, he just delivered the quran and died, over for him, he's in the grave, allah will cutt his heart if he didn't deliver .....etc , but abraham, ohhhh the father of faith, we follow the religion of abraham , ghady? emmm he said the truth.... jack nickolson? good actor, but mohamed? an idol, an object for worship etc....... , I don't understand, when allah said to his companions, you were the best people that came on earth, what does that mean? their leader is the best leader that came on the earth, do the math , nothing wrong with loving the prophet, don(t be afraid, if you love him for his struggle and his patience and his perseverence and his success etc............ nothing wrong with that, after all, allah set him as an example to us, and who choose the best example better than allah ? Mohamed have been blessed by been the last of the prophets and bringing the last message to mankind, that's a great honor from allah, nobody from us will get that honor and nobody before him will have the honor of been the last prophet, he will not testifie against us in the hearafter , because we didn't leave the quran, so quranists have the privilege to say we are mohamed's true people, please, do not doubt your faith, coran followers worship allah and appreciate everything that isz good, thank you
-
Please people, the influence of rashad khalfa is obvious,
I bear witness there is no god but ALLH
The quran is the word of allah, is the same as saying mohamed is the messenger of allah; not bearing witness, but recognising that his message is the quran,
Jews also can say I bear witness there's no god but allahBut what is the difference ? we believe in the quran brought to us by mohamed, they don't
to differenciate as an identity only, Mohamed is the messenger of allah
wedon(t bear witness for mohamed the messenger of allah becau, se we werent't there and we're not hypocrits, but we believe in mohamed as the messenger of allahI bear witness that there is no god But Allah, And Mohamed is the messenger of allah
I don't believe there's a blasphemy here, because we only bear witness that there is no god but allah, we identify ourselves as mohamed folowers
What do you think ?
-
We don't have to praise mohamed, it's a sin
Allah named him mohamed
every time we say his name, that is exactly what we're saying " the praised one "probably that is why allah said ' wa rafaana laka dhikrek '
plus many times in the quran allah says , Mohamed rassoul allah , meaning, mohamed the messneger of allah
this is a title given to him by allah, so when we say his name, to differenciate him from the millions of mohameds, we says mohammed the messenger , it"s not a sin because allah calls him the messenger of allah -
Salaam loxbox
Thanks for your input, there is only one confusion about what you said, "to praise Muhammad is a sin", how come?
and in your very next statement you agree that Allah praises him in Quran, and daily when we recite Quran we Praise Muhammad Rasul and servant of Allah.
