Alen, with all due respect I don't agree with your position that sunni's and shia's are non-muslims. just as there are differect sects - catholic, russian orthodox, baptist, etc christians and hasidic, ultraorthodox, liberal jews, well you have the sunnis, shia's, etc who differ on interpretations of the koran following their own scholars. so, muslims are no different than christians and jews in this regard.
There are basic tenets that define us as Muslim or Christian. I wish people would stick to appropriate well established labels. Anything less always smells deceptive to me.

speakingof muslims..the BASIC tenanta are belief in One God and good deeds. i dont think shias and sunnis are non muslims..im no one to comment on that coz only God knows wats in the hearts of all people, but i do believe that shias who bow down to graves of members of the prophets family and think tht they hv super human powers given to them by God to solve their issues fr them is shirk and leads to (if not IS) non belief...i also think that sunnis who sing praises and pray to dead people to do stuff fr them is also shirk.
with christianity, im still studying the bible so it wud be premature to come up with answer as to wat the basic tenants of it wud be

I'd say it's not wise to play with The Book of God. Glory be to God.I'll stick to the topic, inshaAllah but I'll speak about differences regarding muslims, sunnis and shias and jewish, christians, buddists, hindus, atheists and agnostics on the other topic, relevant to it, okay? I've just returned from Speaker's Corner, Hyde Park and exchanged some words with sunnis regarding sunnah and hadeeth, one sunnis said I should be killed but never mind, then I observed a conversation between teenagers sunnis and shias, guys and girls regarding Ali and how or what he is or isn't and finally one sunni actually challeneged me for the meeting next sunday to provide evidence from The Qur'an where and how do we pray, since I told him that sunnah and hadeeth are not from messenger/prophet Muhammad but from Bukhary, Muslims, Dawood, Abu Baqr and so on.
Regarding the 9/11 issue.
Most people know that it was different then 7/7 bombings of thsoe buses in London. Unlike 7/7, 9/11 was an inside job and we all know that, that is a fact. Even Americans know and amdit that Bush lied and he lied a lot. He looked the world in the eyes and told them so many lies. May God gudie us all The Straight Path and increase us in knowledge. Therefore, whatever happens, if and when they burn The Qur'an, God forbid, they will get a reaction. Not from me but someone who is already angry 99.99 percent and needs that little drop to explode. Literally.Keep in mind,t hat plenty of sunnis burn American flags, forgetting that there are American muslims, that there are Americns who are in the process of accepting Islam, Americans who do not accept Islam but respect muslims and our Faith, Americans who are against invading Middle East. They should never be so hypocritical. Instead of buying a flag and a ligter, they should rather buy food and clothes and medicine, since they lack that and not anger.
Therefore, we should all do what benefits Islam right now let each one of us make contact with one non-muslim and see what we dis/agree on. For example on another forum (Islam forum topix) I asked what are the first things that come to your mind regarding Islam? Most people who answered, asked about beating women, is it true? They were referring to 434.
They shouldn't burn The Qur'an and we shouldn't burn The Bible.
On the contrary we should sit down, both of us, muslims and christians and discuss the only thing that separates us - trinity and crucifixion. This is the only thing that we disagree on with non-muslims, all other things are the same, God knows best.
Sorry for writing so long but I just came from long discussion and sunnis that I met and spoken to, have challeneged me to find for them where does Allah SWT say in The Qur'an how to pray. Gotta stay patient.

Not All Shias and Sunnis call so called Quranists as Non Muslims, so you cannot call all of them Extremists, but Alen is an individual who calls other Muslims, NON MUSLIMS therefore he is an Extremist for sure. Sunnis and Shias may not be follow the core of Islam, the Quran attentively, and instead favour innovations of traditions. But they're still partly muslims, just not completely on the straight path, just as a Quranist may not understand salat, so he is not perfect. We all have our faults.

Sunnis that I have met and keep meeting here and now, keep telling me that I am a kaffir, that I should be killed, that I am a liar, that I will end up in HellFire.
Now, I don't mind when they have an opinion about me, I'm always curious and love meeting new people and making ne wfriendships, Thank God. However, I don't like when sunnis make threats to end my life or tell me that they know who will end up in HellFire.First of all nowhere in The Qur'an, did I read about sunnis or sunni muslims, shias or shia muslims or wahabis or salafis or malikis or ahmadiyyas or something similar. I did hear about submitters, believers, nonbelievers and rejecters and so on. God knows best, Glory be to God.
Second If you heard what I heard yesterday at the Speaker's Corner where muslims, sunnis and christians meet every sunday to discuss what they believe and invite people into their belief system, you would not be only amazed - you would purchase a ticket to Venezuela and stay there until 2029.
Yesterday - Jamal is my witness - one sunni was inviting people to sunnism and called it Islam but he was doing it in such way, that you I saw only one thing not a man who is inviting non-muslims to Islam, but a person who wants to have more muslims or sunnis in his way of performing salah and more sunnis who will have beards and wear white robes and more women dressed in niqabs.
This man was interested only in numbers and not in Truth or quality of Faith. No one spoek to him. But for some reason he kept coming to me, asked me where in The Qur'an did Allah SWY say how much charity to give and when I told him about 2215, 219 and 6141, he kept asking where and how much. I repeated several more times the mentioned verses and even read them to him and showed them and he kept asking where and how much. I showed it to him and then he read it out loud and out of his mouth came this"Allah explains" and then he looked at me and said where?He became angry, walked away and later I heard him that I should be killed. There were some cops there due to high numbers of the visitors but nothing evil happened, Thank God. Unlike few sundays ago when cops came and took a man for shouting something in Arabic.
Third the sunnis I met cannot go by The Qur'an alone. They have assured me that I will never understand The Qur'an without prophet Mohammad explainging it to me, guess where? Yes, "prophet's sunnah and hadeeth". Keep in mind that even though they send peace and blessings upon Mohammad and only upon Mohammad, they send it very fast, like it matters very little.
I am a writer and could write easily 100 pages regarding this matter but won't.

I came clean shaven one day to Speaker's Corner one sunday and they guy started quoting only the hadeeth.
When I wanted to quote The Qur'an, he dismissed me.This is why I keep saying that Qur'an should not be burned but studied even more and we must tlak to sunnis maybe more then with non-muslims because non-muslims accept Islam and The Qur'an despite terrorism and explosions and honor killings and suicide bombers but sunnis .... may God guide them all to Straigth Path. InshaAllah.
