    for those interested

It was narrated by Al-Bukhari that Prophet Muhammad r said
(?Perform your Sal?h (prayers) in the same manner as you have seen me doing?).

Therefore, here is the explanation for the Prophet?s manner of prayer To perform completely the Wudu (ablution), adopting the method commanded by Allah in the Qur??n

?O you who believe! When you intend to offer prayer, wash your faces and your hands (forearms) up to the elbows, rub (by passing wet hands over) your heads, and (wash) your feet up to ankles.?

    The Prophet r said
(?Sal?h (prayer) without purification (ablution) is not accepted.?)

To start the prayer follow these steps

    1. To turn one?s face and the whole body towards the Ka?ba, the Sacred House at Makkah, intending by heart to perform the prayer which he/she wants to fulfill, whether it is a Fard (obligatory) prayer or a Sunnah (optional) prayer, the worshipper in all cases, should not pronounce his/her Niyah (intention) openly, because neither the Prophet r nor his Companions used to utter the intention for Sal?h. Thus, pronouncing the intention for Salah in audible voice is a heresy and an illicit action, intention must be in the heart only. Whether the individual be an Im?m or performs his Sal?h individually, he should make a Sutra (i.e. a curtain for his Sal?h).

    2. Directing the face towards the Qiblah (the Ka?ba at Makkah) is an imperative condition for every Salah. However, there are few exceptions for this rule for instance if the Muslim can not face Qiblah due to sickness or does not know the direction of of Makkah .

    3. To pronounce Takbirat-al-Ihram that is to say Allahu Akbar (Allah is Great) proclaiming by that the Greatness of Allah and looking meanwhile, downwards to the place where he/she will prostrate.
To raise one?s hands up to the level of the shoulders or near to the lobes of the ears, while pronouncing Takbirat-al-Ihram.

    4. To put one?s right hand over his/her left hand and left wrist, and put them both over the chest, as the Prophet r used to do.

    5. It is advisable that the worshipper recites Du`aa al-Istiftah (opening supplication) saying

?Subhanaka Allahumma wa bihamdika wa tabaraka ismuka wata aala jadduka wala ilaha ghayruka.? (?Praise and glory is to Allah. Blessed is Your Name, Exalted is Your Majesty and Glory. There is no god but You.?) Or he may say any other of the supplications which the Prophet r used to say in his prayers. After reciting the opening supplication, the worshipper says ?A?dhu billahi min ashaytan arrajeem?
(?I seek protection of Allah against the accursed Satan?)
    Then say
    ?Bismillahi Arrahmani Arraheem?
(?In the Name of Allah, the source of mercy and the Merciful.?)
and recites the F?tiha (the opening Surah of the Glorious Qur??n). Prophet Muhammad r said

(?Sal?h without reciting the Fatiha is invalid?).
The worshipper should say Ameen after reciting the F?tiha loudly if the Sal?h is to be said loudly, and whisper it in inaudible prayers. the worshipper is advised to recite verses from medium size Surah of the Qur??n after recitation of the Fatiha.
Then, the worshipper bows in Ruk? raising hands up to the level of his/her shoulders or ears while saying Allahu Akbar (Allah is Great) then bends down, making his head and back on one level and putting his hands with the fingers spread on his knees. The worshipper should feel serenity and tranquility while bowing, he should say thrice
    ?Subhana Rabbi Al`Adhim?
(?Glory is to my Lord, the All-Mighty.?)
It is advisable to say while bowing in addition to that

?Subhanaka Allahumma Rabbana wabi hamdika, Allahumma eghfir li? (?Glory is to You O Allah, Our Lord, I praise You, forgive me my sins.?)

    1. To raise one?s head up from bowing, raising one?s hands to the level of his shoulders or ears, saying, in case of being Im?m or praying alone
      ?Sami`a Allahu liman hamidah?.
?Allah listens to him who praises Him?.
While resuming the standing position, he/she may say

    ?Rabbana wa laka alhamd,
(?Our Lord, praise is for You?)
The worshipper is advised to put his hands on his chest, as he had done before he bowed, but if the worshipper did not put his hands on his chest, the prayer still valid.

    1. To prostrate saying Allahu Akbar (Allah is Great). He should touch the ground with his knees before touching it with his hands, if that is possible to him. If not, he is permitted to touch the ground by his hands before his knees. His fingers and toes should be directed towards the Qiblah at Makkah, and his hands should be stretched, and the fingers close together and not separated. In Sajdah (prostration), the worshipper should use and keep on ground these seven organs
The forehead, the nose, both hands, both knees and the internal parts of the toes.
These seven organs should touch the ground. Then the worshipper should say thrice
      ?Subhana Rabbi Al Aa`la?
(?Glorified is my Lord, the Exalted.?)
      It is advisable to say

?Subhanaka Allahumma Rabbana wa bi hamdika,Allahumaghfirli.?
(?Glory is to You O Allah, Our Lord, I praise You. Our Lord, forgive me my sins.?)
It is recommendable for the worshipper say more supplications while in sojood and ask for more from his Lord, because the Prophet r said
?As for Ruk?? (bowing), you should glorify your Lord during performing it; as for Sojood (prostration), you should do your best to supplicate and ask for more from Him, because your supplications during prostration are more worthy to be accepted.? The worshipper should ask his Lord for prosperity both in this worldly life and in the Hereafter. Whether it is an obligatory prayer or an optional prayer, the worshipper, while prostrating, should neither bring his hands close to his sides, nor stick his abdomen to his thighs, or his thighs to his legs. The worshipper?s arms should be raised up from the ground because the Prophet r prohibited putting the arms and stretching them on the ground, ordering that ?adjust your prostration, keep straight in it, and stretch not your hands on the ground as dogs do.?

    1. He should raise his head from prostration saying Allahu Akbar and lay his left foot flat on the ground and sit upon it, keeping his right foot erected, his hands on his thighs and knees, and say

?O my Lord, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, provide me with Your sustenance, save me and console me.?

    1. To prostrate again saying Allahu Akbar and repeating during his prostration what he did and said in the first prostration.

10.Then the worshipper raises his head saying Allahu Akbar after taking a pause similar to the pause between the two prostrations; this is called Jalsat-al-Istir?hah (the pause for rest). It is recommended for the worshipper to do such a pause, but there is no sin if he desists from it. Then the worshipper rises up and stands supporting on his knees, or on the ground if he cannot support himself on the knees, reads the F?tiha (the opening Surah of the Glorious Qur??n) and some other verses of the Qur??n and do as just as he did in the first Raka (unit of prayer). Those who pray behind the Im?m should not compete with him in the prayer actions as the Prophet r said ?The Im?m is to be followed, if he says Allahu Akbar (Allah is Great), then say the same after him. If he bows in Ruk??, bow after him. If he says Samiallahu liman hamidah (Allah hears him who praises Him), then say Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (Our Lord! All praises are for You); and if he prostrates, then prostrate after him.?

11.If the prayer consists of two Rak`a (two units of prayer) as the Fajr (morning) prayer, Eid (feast) prayer, or the Jumuah (Friday) prayer, the worshipper sits after the second prostration, with his right foot erect, sitting on his left foot laid down, putting his right hand on his right thigh, all his fingers close-fisted except the index finger which he uses to point out as a sign for his Monotheistic Belief, and his left hand is put on his left thigh. There is nothing in the way, if the worshipper keeps both the little and ring fingers closed, while rounding his thumb and middle finger in a ring-shape, and uses his index finger to point out as a sign for his Monotheistic Belief. It has been related that the Prophet r had practiced both of these ways, thus, it is advisable for the worshipper to perform the first way once and the other on the second time.
The worshipper reads the Tashahhud while sitting and says
    . .
    .
Innaka Hameedun Majeed.?
(?Greetings, prayers and the good things of life belong to Allah. Peace, mercy and blessing of Allah be on you, O Prophet. May peace be upon us and on the devout slaves of Allah. I testify that there is no God but Allah and I testify that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family as You blessed Abraham and his family. You are the Most Praised, The Most Glorious. O Allah, bestow Your grace on Muhammad and his family as You bestowed it on Abraham and his family. You are the Most Praised, The Most Glorious.?)
After reciting the Tashahhud, the worshipper asks Allah?s protection from four evils, he should say

?My Lord, I ask your protection from torment of the Hell, torment of the grave, the trials in lifetime and after death, and from the impostor Al-Maseeh Addajjal (Antichrist).?
The worshipper may ask Allah for prosperity in this worldly life and in the Hereafter, supplicate Allah to bestow His favours on his parents and other Muslims. He could do this in both obligatory and optional prayers. It has been narrated by Ibn Mas?ud that the Prophet r taught him how to recite the Tashahhud and told him that the worshipper should invoke Allah and ask Him for the more beloved wishes which he likes, or, as it has been related in other wordings, the worshipper should ask Allah for whatever he wishes. In this manner, the slave can ask Allah for all the prosperities of this worldly life and the life to come. The worshipper terminates his Salah by turning his face first to the right and second to the left saying in both

    ?As-salamu alaikum wa rahmatullah?
(?Peace and mercy of Allah be on you.?)

12.In case of a three Raka prayer (prayer consisting of three units) as that of Maghrib (evening) prayer, or a four Raka prayer like that of Zuhr (noon) prayer, Asr (afternoon) prayer, and Ish? (night) prayer; the worshipper stands up after reciting the Tashahhud according to the manner stated before, and raises his hands upto the level of his shoulders saying Allahu Akbar . The worshipper puts his hands over his chest as it had been explained before and recites only the F?tiha. There is no objection if he adds to the F?tiha some other verses of the Qur??n while performing the third or fourth Raka of Zuhr (noon) prayer, because this was stated to be one of the manners adopted by the Prophet r according to the Hadeeth (tradition) narrated by Ab? Sa?ied.
After the third Raka of Maghrib (evening) prayer, and the fourth Raka of Zuhr (noon), Asr (afternoon) and `Ish? (night) prayers, the worshipper recites the Tashahhud and terminates his Sal?t by saying

    ?Assalamu-alaikum wa rahmatullah?
While turning first to the right, and second to the left as it has been explained before, by doing the salaam, the salah is finished.

    Important notes

    1. During the prayer all recitation and reading must be in Arabic
    2. There is no difference between man and woman in all actions of the prayer.
    3. r ? ? P.B.U.H. (Peace Be Upon Him)

the ways of worship have been left to the prophet how to pray, how to make sawm (what nullifies it etc..), how to make tawaf, the amount of zakaat, etc + much more everyday life details + how to make duaa mustajab and when, how to immune yourself and children from eye and jinn, how to heal yourself with quran, how to treat your wife, chidren, parents in details, etc...

So Allah made a mistake when He said Quran was complete and fully detailed for our salvation?
Did Allah leave it as an appendix to Quran or did He think the prophet would live forever to keep teaching us?
Given He has made SO much a big deal about how the previous messages were changed 'with their tongues' and that the Arabs are the worst in hypocrisy and that we need no other hadith after Quran, why would He then leave such important DETAIL out for people to AGAIN change 'with their tongues'?? ??? That is so not logical don't you think?

and as for amount of zakat etc, in just about say 90+% of verses which mention salat, they also mention along with it zakat. So why only a certain amount at certain times and 5 prayers every day? Why not zakat ALL the year like salat and why not what you can afford of your salary a month or week or whatever? ???

                    I recommend http//www.astudyofquran.org/web/index.php?id=60,0,0,1,0,0

                    Parts 11.2i onwards.

Proving beyond doubt in order to get a coherent method of Traditional Muslim prayer, one must pick and choose. FACT.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

Because there's rules to follow and because zakaat is not sadaqa (wich you can give all year) and because theres a wisdom for giving zakaat at a certain period and to certain persons with an amount that couldnt harm the giver and help the one who recieve it. All this is set by the prophet and who's wiser tha nthe prophet ?

JK- Again "Badr" it would be more honest if you said that YOU think/believe that's what rthe Prophet said instead of stating it as a fact because there is simply NO EVIDENCE for it. Salat and Zakat have been mentioned in the Quran since Abraham. Nowehere does the Quran say "O Prophet, teach your people how to give Zakat" thus introducing a new and unique type of Zakat. GOD Bless!

JK- Yes indeed we do. As I said there is no evidence that any hadith besides Quran actually came from Muhammad. On the other hand the entire Quran came literally via Muhammad to us. So by following the Quran we would be following the messenger and as per Quran whosoever follows the messenger follows GOD. Saying that following Quran=following GOD directly and not the messener does not make sense, since the Quran was not revealed to us directly by GOD. I never understood how hadith followers whilst they admit the latter can still make such a blatant logical error when they divide following GOD and messenger into the first following Quran and the 2nd following hadith. Have you ever looked into the science of collecting hadiths and verifying their authenticity by following those who transmitted them ? All the time spent, the way to follow the chain of narrators, their authenticity and their relations with the prophet and the resort and every thing ?

All this is set by the prophet and who's wiser tha nthe prophet ?

Allah is wiser than the prophet.

check verses 98.5, 31.4, 24.56, 2.43, 24.37, 9.5, 21.73, 2.177, 5.55, 19.31, 19.55, 4.162, 2.85, 4.77. In those verse it says regular prayer and regular charity (Zakat). I know zakat is not sadaqa and that's why I was referring to these verses that have salat and zakat in them, together, as in a regular thing. The verses with sadaqa in are not coupled with regular salat in the same verse. Maybe your hadith got it the wrong way round to what Allah said?

You're defending my cause right here, zakaat and salaat are coupled because they are 2 of the most important FIVE pillars of islam. Both are trying to achieve the growth and the elevation of the community while the Shahada is a personal and asine qua non condition, while Hajj is for those who can afford it, and Sawm has a personnal benefit and reward.

                                    Peace "Badr",

Have you ever looked into the science of collecting hadiths and verifying their authenticity by following those who transmitted them ? All the time spent, the way to follow the chain of narrators, their authenticity and their relations with the prophet and the resort and every thing ?

JK- Yes and calling it scientific is actually a mockery on real science. Science indludes the "scientfic method" which relies basically on INDEPENDENT and double blind testing. Sceintists don't sit together to reach conclusions but they get to the same conslusions INDEPENDENT of each other. That's how we can be sure it's true. The term here "Alum ul Hadith" should be translated as the "knowledge of hadith", Period. That'd be more accurate. Just because people have studied something doesn't mean they know it's actually true or even the most efficient way of how it works. Consider astrology for exmaple. People have studied it for years. They too could term it "the science of astrology" but it would be ridiculous. And real science has shown that it doesn't make sense nor does it work.
NOW in gaining "knwoeldge of hadith" there is absolutely no archaelogy backing any of it up either. The best tells we have is that the hadith were compiled more than 250 years after the Prophet Muhammad and even for that there is no archaeologial backing. Coudlve been made up 500 years ago for that matter. Next when it comes to the content of he hadith we've seen that it is full of inaccurcies just like the Bible and even the interpretations of most hadith rely heavily on sectraian biases people already have. There is no reserach there either where people INDEPENDETLY come to same conclusions on what the text means. GOD Bless!

bukhari wasn't even born until 200 years after the death of the prophet so how could he follow those that transmitted them and verify them all? The people were dead.

There is another thread here somewhere which says Bukhari collected 600,000 hadith and took 16 years to sort them and verify them ending with less than 1% we have now as sahih. Do the math, 600,000 in 16 years, how long was spent verifying each hadith and how much sleep did the poor man get in 16 years? Any verifying these at later dates can ONLY verify them against other hadith. IF these are false you measure false against false to check it's right?? If you were told Quran is less that 1% truth from God would you even bother looking at it?

Abu Hurairah spent very little time with the prophet, Abu Bakr and Aesha spent much more, how many of each one's hadith do you have? MANY more by Abu Hurairah who was a known story teller and hadith fabricator and reprimanded for it BY Aesha IN some of those hadith. Abu Bakr BURNT any he had saved. The prophet said IN hadith do not write anything from me BUT Quran, he DID NOT SAY do not write anything from me but Quran until you have compiled Quran for fear you mix them up.

So we have a book that is 100% from God the Creator given to His messenger to give to mankind, and we have tons of fabricated tales with no authority from God OR His messenger and no way of verifying ANY of them, and you would rather follow the latter?

That still doesn't explain why Allah says these 2 together and REGULAR and you say it's not regular and sadaqa is. Allah didn't give these '5 pillars' of Islam.

If you take it from that point of view Quran is also a mockery on real science (god forbid) as you can not prove jinn, you can not prove heaven and hell and you can not prove angels.

As for the inaccurancies, that's why theres the classification. You can't ignore it all just because theres doubt in some of it.
